I can't tell it's so blurry.. I guess Cadburys_egg's right though, the colours clash terribly, text just looks badly rushed, you've just cropped some screenshots from runescape and bluring it so much just puts the icing on the cake.

a community avatar seems kinda messy, not many people can work so small so giving them 10x10 to work in too easy, and kind of a waste of time.. you should try a collaboration grid, everyone can select a square and eventually it builds up to something really unique.. http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/2681/blankch6.png http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/6263/completear6.png pixelopolis are sucessful so far.. but less squares, I don't think over 100 people would contribute here.

Yeah the actual drawing needs a massive improvement but he's on the right lines, I think the over saturated colours really make it hard to see any contrast between some of the shades in most of the signatures. You need to work a lot more drawing in rl, because your perspective is horrible in a lot of your work.. Your cartoony characters work in some respects but I would seriously consider learning basic anatomy. You also need to consider layout, what you actually want to see in the signature.. Don't simply think 'I want a character' and add in a quick background, you need to work on all aspects of your work.. Don't mass produce a range of signatures without correcting your past mistakes, cus it seems as if colour wise you haven't improved and you've not challenged yourself in the areas that would make you eventually much better. But these are what they are, and they're not bad. Some are pretty cute : ..

well as long as it's an avvy I guess, you have 2 minutes to make an image 80x80 or less (for TIF).. so I think it'd be pointless posting a giant image on a thread with the title, two-minute avatar contest.
