Of course Family Guy is getting a lot of praise for their "random bits of idiotic funnies that have nothing to do with the plot" which I laugh at too, but I think the Simpsons are better. It doesn't hurt to think about a joke and to apply meaning behind it. I like the Simpsons for the cultural reference jokes (Family Guy has em too but about Fran Drescher's head exploding... #-o ) and their cover of everything! South Park is a great show and that episode called Cartoon Wars owned Family Guy. So my ranking is 1. The Simpsons 2. South Park 3. Family Guy They're all great though! :XD:

I don't see how King of the Hill fits into these except by the fact that it's animated and a Fox show. It's my favorite out of the three. I can say that Futurama is a second series by Matt Groening (spelling?) creator of the Simpsons. American Dad is another second series, but by Seth MacFarlan (?) creator of Family Guy. They both have a comedic parallel with their sister series so you could call this a comparison of the Simpsons and Family Guy. I like both shows a lot! They're both great! Many people say that Family Guy tooks its idea from the Simpsons which I believe has some truth to it. Mike Judge just totally owns both of these guys though! :XD:

Me- Everything except emo, power punk, pop punk, death metal, weird indie rock, some contemporary rock. But I can be flexible and tolerate them. Brother- Classic rock and 80's glam/arena rock Dad-Reggae, country, and classic rock Mom-not a big music fan, but I know she likes some awkward alt rock stuff lol Sisters-Country, pop, and hip-hop

The last movie I saw in theaters was Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. It was better than the first although that's not saying much. Basically the Silver Surfer starts freaking out people on Earth and telling them the planet is going to be destroyed. They find out the board is the source of his power. They steal it from him. Victor von Doom tries to use the board for his evil doings. Invisible Woman or girl (i Dont know) charms silver surfer, norrin radd (i think), into destroying galactus(the planet eater) into by killing himself inside galactus (i'm not sure what he actually does it just looks that way to me) and they all live happilly ever after. I recently watched the Godfather at home on Bravo and it was much better as you'd expect. Basically, it tells how Michael Corleone, who tries to stay out of the family business, is drawn right into it and ends up becoming a huge mafia boss. :wink:
