  1. are RSC going to out number us so much that every other team needs to band together?
  2. A problem there is that not all mods are the saintly upholders of the law we want them to be (Not having ago at the mods who do try and make runescape a fun and safe environment for everyone) but what stops them from just taking the items and running?
  3. Sounds like a great line-up. I'm just surprised that no one has posted a rant yet about how the make-X option for smithing is going to 'destroy smithing forever' etc. etc.
  4. I totally agree, why can't F2p have a say in holiday events? okay it ruins the surprise which is a bummer but I don't think that just because P2p pay every month gives them the right to control what Jagex updates. Just enjoy the updates you are given and F2p will enjoy theirs. End of.
  5. I don't see what some of the P2p's are complaining about, I hardly ever see anyone acting childish or immature. Sure maybe every once in a while I see the odd 'Free stuff plz' but that is about it. In the rare cases that someone is being immature I just ignore them and either carry on with what I am doing or move on. I have personally seen an improvement as a used to get hassled a lot more than I do now. As with autoers they are only really an annoyance if they are competing with you like chopping yews, how are they annoying if you are just walking past them? Sorry if this seems like a rant at everybody because it is far from my intention, just giving my views on the matter. Legil.
  6. Runescape Name: Legil-Galad2 Country: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland And in answer to lava Harry's post yes England wasn't there because it is a constituent country to the UK so isn't technically an independant nation.
  7. I always pick the mytery box, got one 5 minutes ago and got a cabbage!
  8. What really annoys me though about anti-F2p rants is that many people say 'OMG like 70% of F2p's are scammers/hackers/marcos' and everyone else is like 'yeah I agree' or 'I think its more 65.6758%' where do these people get these statistics apart from their calculator? not sure if it is entirely relevant but anyway...
  9. I did have the original Legil-galad, then I forgot the password...so along came Legil-galad2.
  10. My pirate message from Pirate's treasure, I just like pirates too much : Also the Intel report from shield of Arrav, I have a thing about souvenirs.
  11. thats a very good point. man I feel silly now... thanks anyway for pointing that out!
  12. For some time now I ahve noticed whilst I am playing runescape and I wish to add a person to my friends list, it will often say that the person is offline even if they are standing next to me. I looked in the 'report bug' section of runescape.com but the problem doesnt seem to fit into their sub-categories. I have also checked technical support and can't find a place for it there. Any ideas where (and that is if it should) I shall submit this problem to Jagex? Also I am F2p so I cannot use the technical forums. Any help appreciated Legil.
  13. I'm not trying to have a go at F2p, I'm F2P myself and i have noticed that we do get a few updates here and there from time to time, I just windered whether Jagex might have had differnet reasons for moving the party house other than just for the sake of F2P.
  14. o yeah, I forgot about the drop parties, looks like they might just go extinct now.
  15. I am sure by now many people have heard that F2P have an update, the party house has been moved to Falador. Now before everyone starts shouting "They don't pay so they shouldn't get updates!" maybe Jagex had ulterior motives than the happiness of their F2p's. What I mean is that as many members should know you can organise a balloon drop in which you can conceal prizes. sure this can be abused now by F2pers who stuff the balloons with spades or something else useless like that. However, I went for a visit to the party house and it was packed with lower levels ectactic with the 1k they found or their 'cool bow' and their black square shield. So does anyone else think that Jagex might have introduced the party house to F2p in order to try and curb begging? because if they do want free stuff all they have to do is go to the party house... All ideas welcome Legil
  16. I think people are becoming more suspicious of "female" characters now days due to clams of gold-digging etc. When my sister started a few years back, she was given a wholeload of expensive and useful stuff for free, made me reconsider my gender... And about the racism, ive only seen two scenarios, one was a group of people making horrible remarks against race in the blue moon inn in varrock (reported :D ) and another was only recently when a person was giving out free food to 'puerto ricans only' I don't have a clue how he knew for sure.
  17. I was killing Hill giants today when I heard a shout from a level 40 saying "anyone here craft?". I duly say "yes" (Though I'm not a hardcore crafter as my level is only 41  ). The player then quizzes me on how a rune is crafted (actually not attrubted to the crafting skill I know but hey why not...) So I explain how a rune is crafted I am thanked and he leaves with me feeling good about myself. However, that then causes me to be bombarded with people asking "how is a ring made?" or "how do you make leather armour?" or "how is a pot made?". Now don't get me wrong this isn't a rant I do like helping people, so know we come to the crux of the post, is crafting is becoming a lost skill in Runscape; are people (or at least just f2p as I can't vouch for members) ignoring crafting for more lucrative and higher 'status' skills like combat? Is it becoming the lost skill that most people are leaving to the extremely lower levels? As the crafting guild always seems rather empty when I walk past. Furthermore, Might this have something to do with more people tempted to purchase their "ready-made" materials/items like leather and jewellery then make them from scratch? Just thought I would see what other people think, all comments welcome! (and I apoligise for the length and use of fancy words I tend to waffle after a while) Legil
  18. First thing I did? wandered around killing goblins till I got hopelessly lost and ended up in Draynor (there were no new-comer maps at the time). Then I had the unfortuante chance of accepting a quest to kill the infamous Count Draynor  ....I learnt my lesson.
