I still play F2p and find it enjoyable. When I get bored with the game I just stop playing for a while; there must still be an attraction there for me because I always come back.

definately use a scimitar. 2h is too slow and if your defence isn't high then u'll waste too much food. The scimitar is much faster which means more exp so faster training.

If you want prayer exp. try ice giants. Or if you want a bit of cash try ankous, they drop a lot of adamant arrows and law runes.

like the above posters said, it would be better to make the money I think. I can't see the price dropping substantially at the moment.

level 40 is not high enough to kill lessers effectively. I recommend minotaurs as they drop iron arrows or hobgoblins as they drop limwirt roots.

The 'gate to Zamorak's world' may be a portal to Freneskae, the home of Zamorak. Maybe inorder to gain more majharrat?

I do hope you know 'S[racist term]' is a very common word in the English language yes. Please God don't let us have another 'Niggles' Fiasco, with people making too much out of nothing. 'Snicker' is not a common word in Britain, S[racist term] is a completely legitimate and there shouldn't be a change. It's not Jagex's fault if people read too much into things. According to runescape wiki, once you enter the prison you can just go through the poster :-s. Not sure if it is true though.

You need to read the plaques next to the jail cells in order to see what each grubblinch is imprisoned for.

if you want speed over prayer/profit. fleshcrawlers are the best if not stick with moss giants. Ice giants are more difficult as the ones in the ice cave are around ice warriors that will constantly try and kill you whilst you are targeting the giants. The wilderness ice giants are ok, plus you can pick up the cosmic rune spawn there.

combat robes from FOG? they're white/silver

some kind of 'wardrobe' for random event clothing or a way to make them into 'a set' like armour.
