  1. Thanks. This can be closed now.
  2. Why are gold ores so much? Just wondering.
  3. How sad... But would you consider a 16-year old to be a "child"?
  4. I don't get how people can think Runescape's music is boring. Occasionally I listen to something on YouTube, but I usually turn the in-game music on. Sometimes I listen to both at the same time (it sounds cool).
  5. RS Username: Llamster Country: USA
  6. Erm, I though Cbow was the fastest bow in the game... Thats why everyone used it :-# No, it's slow. Same speed as battleaxes. I think crystal bows are the same speed as longswords, and shortbows the same as scimitars. C bows can hit up to 60. That's why everyone uses it.
  7. 3 gp less is much lower?
  8. That's sexist. Girls can be [cabbage]-holes too. Other than that, I agree with you.
  9. Ok, the sentence in bold? I have no idea what you're talking about. Xewleer's writing is a bit lacking in enviromental description, I'll admit. Most writers spend whole paragraphs just describing things, but I think he puts enough description for you to get a sense of what's happening. Also, can you read one of my stories? (link in signature) If you say that this sucks, I'd like to hear what you have to say about mine.
  10. Aside from the fact that he meant browser based MMO's, uh... no. And as far as those games being like runescape -- the only simularity is they are all MMORPG's. Runescape is a little java based game that can hardly pass off as an MMO someone would take seriously while the others are all big budget, non-browser based and actually can be passed off as good MMO's. anyways someone listed it earlier but http://www.mmorpg.com = win. I'm surprised you didn't catch the sarcasm. I didn't see his post about the browser games either
  11. I really like this story. One of the best runescape-related stories I've read. Thanks for the cookie. It was pretty obvious because you mentioned Anthony Horowitz in Ratchet's story.
  12. A man died and went to heaven. When he got there, he found himself in a massive chamber filled with clocks. The man asked an angel standing nearby, "What are these clocks for?" "They each represent a person," the angel replied. "The more you lie, the faster your clock runs. Abraham Lincoln lied only 6 times, so his clock is very slow. You lied an average amount of times, so your clock runs at the same speed as a normal clock." The man stood there for a while, taking this in. Finally, he asked, "Where's George W. Bush's clock?" "It's in Saint Peter's office. He's using it as a ceiling fan."
  13. [hide] Which thing are you using to download it? BitTorrent doesn't work that well unless you're experienced with it and know how to make it go fast. It took me about 1-2 hours from one of the other ones. I forget which, but I'm pretty sure any should get it done. Quicker than 70 hours at least. He said he had dial-up. You can usually download around 10megs an hour on that, so that's about 175 hours. Dial-Up is that slow. (My friend has dial-up, but he's been able to run quite a few big-filed games. :-s ) Anyways...I doubt there are any online MMORPGs better than RuneScape. And most games you download are around 1 GB, some even more. Although there are a few decent text-based games. Not that good if you're looking for something like RuneScape. You... serious? :-s [/hide] Yeah, really. Something like Runescape? Here are some that are "something like Runescape"... http://lotro.turbine.com/ http://www.lineage2.com/ http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/index.xml BTW, the first one is 4GB.
  14. Varrock, Edgeville, and Seer's Village are now a LOT different than they were before. Varrock and Seer's Village are kinda the same, but Edgeville has smaller/darker bricks. Before, there was no difference.

    You've never dangled a piece of string in front of one, have you? It's much fun \ \ \ \ \ \
  16. The vial market was stupid in the first place. Why should we pay 100 gp for an empty glass vial?

What, was your cat really dumb or something?
  18. Yassen Gregorovich from Alex Rider? Pretty good.
  19. Icthlarin, if he is a god in the first place, is the god of cats. Anyway, here's my opinion: Saradomin represents Saradomin. Zamorak represents Zamorak. Guthix represents Guthix. Bandos represents Bandos. Armadyll represents Armadyll. Zaros represents Zaros.
  20. That may not necessarily be true. Can gods really 'Die' in this way? +1. "Temporarily disabled" is more like it.
  21.   YOUR UNCLE IS FUNNY!!!!!!!!!
  22. Nor can it be called forth from a stone at will and formed in the four basic elements and then launched at another person. IOW: Don't rule of possiblities because of physical limitations, this is RS. I've heard of something like that happening, like someone who could concentrate his body heat into raw energy or something like that. If he could do it using his own energy, who's to say it can't happen with a battery/magically charged runestone? Anyway, I have another theory. Maybe the mage created some sort of invisible magical thing floating in the air that absorbs heat from the area. What's more, the thing could transmit the energy drawn from Trollheim directly to the mage, making him/her practically invincible :-k .
  23. That's all fine and dandy, except for one tiny little problem... Why would a Deity represent a combat style???
  24. The mage would have had to create a massive super-insulative magical barrier around the whole of Trollheim that could somehow last for thousands of years, and if that were the case, it would be impossible for anyone to enter the area. This in itself is impossible, for energy cannot behave in the manner described, nor can it insulate heat.
  25. Just post what year you think. Explain only if you want to. 2014. People will get tired of the game, and eventually it will fade away.
