Laptop battery
When I upgraded from a 6 cell to a 12 cell it easily added two lbs. Perhaps more. I'd weigh it but it's stuck in the laptop now.

DDOSING Serious Issue?
In the chat I was in people announced the server they were going to crash seconds later it plummeted to around 50 players in population I swiftly left the chat, around 250 players in the IRC channel, I left not getting involved, I'm just curious as to why they are doing it. If it is because of a handful of users, it's just because they can.

DDOSING Serious Issue?
It's not that hard to look up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack I know what it is.

DDOSING Serious Issue?
You should probably cover what DDoSing is before asking why.

Possible Virus?
That site is not endorsed by Jagex. I just mentioned Firefox because I get popup asking be to allow Java when running Runescape. But perhaps someone else can shed some light on this.

Please help me get Norton Internet Insecurity Uninstalled.
Other than the occasional driver flaw, you'll get a better Runescape experience if you're running Windows. This is coming from someone who is typing this on a Mac. Are you just looking for an excuse to buy an new laptop?

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
I was looking to get a 3rd Age Range top because Armadyl is too common at Castle Wars. Does anyone know how that's faring? Or has all 3rd Age begun to drop? EDIT: Never mind, seems they're being sold at minimum. I just wonder how long the drop will last.

New Icon Discussion [BIG UPDATES]
The base of the lightbulb seems too small to be proportional to the glass fixture. Again, they will be separating the friends list. People have complained. Whether or not this tab belongs to that subject, I don't know. It appears to me as a chat bubble with the lower part shaded.

Possible Virus?
Are you using Firefox?

New Icon Discussion [BIG UPDATES]
They're going to split the friends list to further include 200 friends from a clan.

Runescape on my new Mac
I'm assuming you're using Opera? It doesn't work with Opera. If not, you could try the Logitech Control Center. Apple doesn't just sell notebooks. You shouldn't be forced to comply to something that you don't feel comfortable with. In this case, he wants to use a mouse. I use Firefox for playing Runescape because Safari doesn't have a maximize option without installing plugins (which were poorly made). I tried Opera and quickly learned that I couldn't scroll any interface within the game.

15th July 2009 - PvP Changes
It's simple. Bolt until 100% EP. Because of the 26k nerf, chaos rune prices have plummeted so it costs less than before. After you reach 100% teleport to Varrok to, go to a secluded building and find some EPers who aren't bolting, TB, entangle, and DDS specials. Nothing has changed, really.

Faruq's Tools for Games 15-Jul-2009

Can't use cooking brawlers the conventional way anymore.

15th July 2009 - PvP Changes
:wall: :wall: :wall: I don't think the profits anymore are worth the time it takes. Perhaps not. I might make more crafting double natures but 76king is far easier.

15th July 2009 - PvP Changes
26k is significantly hurt, actually. Because you have to die approximately five times, you've wasted 380k. Add in bolters who waste 2500 chaos per 100% EP, which amounts to 345k. In total you waste 725k per 100% EP. Now, I hardly ever got below 1M per kill, but this significantly hurts my profits. But this certainly doesn't fix it. I'll probably get right back on my way to 76king.

Tip.It Times: 12 July 2009 - Addressing the Anti-Hack Key
I enjoyed reading Master_Smither's article. Perhaps not as much imagery to entice readers, but it got the point across clearly. The other articles I had little interest in and the conclusion did not captivate me as much. In response to the first article, The Anti-Hack Bribe. In market that Jagex is in, it's impractical to hire dedicated customer service representatives. This impracticality is further added upon by the age group Jagex is catering to. If this idea is going to be brought up, other arguments need to be presented to support it. I do not like this idea. The only reason they are offering bank space is to entice users into a more secure account. There is a clear difference between bank space and items within the game. This is perhaps, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the article's point. Many other points brought up seem to rely on inferred material.

Poll: Slayer Update
I voted new armor/weapons. But it's only been recently that these items have saturated the market enough to become average. I don't think it's time for new items such as these.

Will nerfing 26king really stop the inflation?
No, it probably won't. But in the mean time, everyone, including myself, takes solace in thinking so.

Nerfing the 26k trick.
I completely agree.

Abstinence
http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Condoms-(male-and-female)/Pages/Introduction.aspx?url=Pages/what-is-it.aspx A large percentage of men and women do not use condoms correctly. Typical use of condoms puts condoms at 84% effective against pregnancies. 98% is really just the advertised statistic. Citation needed :) It's in a previous post on this thread, if you really want it. EDIT:http://www.youngwomenshealth.org/malecontraceptives1.html Ok cool thanks for posting it, cos i think youve read it incorrectly. it says which is not at all the same thing as If you use it incorrectly its only 86% effective, but the proportion of people using it correctly will have a large effect on the overall efficacy, and the page give no figures for how many people use condoms correctly. It's tempting to guess that incorrect usage would possibly be quite high, but then its not exactly rocket science to put a condom on, the only things you can do wrong are put it on inside out, nick it with your finger or take it off too soon. So I couldnt guess at how that would affect the figures. As the website clearly says, "typical use: 14 women become pregnant," I do not believe that I misinterpreted either statement. Using that logic, condoms cannot be 95% effective because there are no statistics for those who use them incorrectly. While not what you said nor is it directed at you, it's ignorant to believe that all males or females during a period of heightened arousal will use male or female condom correctly. By nature, the statistic must drop. We can then draw a conclusion that the 95% statistic is an "advertised" statistic.

Runescape going white on Google Chrome
It's a problem with Chrome's sandboxing. Nothing you can do to fix it at the moment.

Laptop battery
Two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time. As a result, a twelve cell battery is going to increase the size and weight of your laptop by a large amount. I bought mine from the manufacturers (HP) website but I know that many third-party websites carry batteries as well.
