If that's the way you want to use it, then no, you do not.
  2. Not in time you'll be using the computer.
  3. bad rewards? okay w/e i will wear my oynx ring with pride and +6 in all stats. not to mention my tool that i can use to tele to rune rocks. that will come in handy too. and also who is to say how good the soils get at the highest level Uh huh. In the time it takes you to get a rank of 200 I could have made twenty million. A ring with +6 in most stats isn't worth 20m in my opinion. People rarely switch weapon styles, slash being the most common. The Warrior Ring gives +4 and you see how low the price is.

He'll have to get an adapter, I don't think any monitor has a mini DVI port. Littleboy, were you looking for recommendations for monitors? If so, what's your budget?
  5. Sums up my thoughts. I was going to go for a imbued dragonstone ring but I thought I could get it with a rank of 100. Anything more than that, no thank you. let me guess. you hate slayer too right? i mean something that you have to put some time into to get great rewards in the end is lame right? Quite a poor analogy, as you're only looking at the rewards aspect. With slayer some form of combat is inherent; the main focus of the game. Every task you can receive six different sorts of experience, HP, attack, defense, strength, summoning, and slayer. This is probably the most predominant focus of slayer - experience - it pays for itself without drops. In addition you also fight a myriad of different creatures with bonuses such a the slayer's mask further increasing your experience. As a final reward for your effort you are able to receive drops with high monetary value. In MA, you play the same game over again with the same tactics used each time. Every now and then you'll play the above average 'scaper who is able to manipulate your formations, specials, and the field to their advantage. But is winning really worth it? In the time it takes to win, you could have lost two battle resulting in a gain of two ranks. The loss here are the points earned. But what do they buy you? Horrible armor that will saturate Runescape within a day? A gold ring that has little to no use for the average player? Can you honestly tell me you're going to spend all these hours spent against infuriating campers or use unavailing tactics to get a rank of 200 or more just for the rewards? The game may be fun for some but I find the design and release too flawed for my use. There are far too many variables that Jagex left untapped and untouched.

But he can hook up another monitor? So I'm assuming you're talking about hardware in which case you shouldn't buy an all-in-one.
  7. It does not become more profitable. You simply make more money.

All aluminium iMacs have a video out port, I believe his is DVI or mini DVI. In terms of quality, you're not going to get the same gamut and panel that is on the iMac without shelling out $400+ USD. You cannot change the GPU but you will not need to. The RAM is user accessible but because you have a discrete GPU (at variance to an IGP which uses memory from the RAM) upgrading the memory will do little good to aid a second screen. The only Mac which you currently can change the GPU on is the Mac Pro. Upgrading the RAM to 4GB is always advisable, however. EDIT: CNET confirms that it does use the DVI interface, mini - DVI.
  9. Uh, there's no way I'm buying that key. A password created by a user is a compromise between accessibility and security and one I am not willing to tarnish. £6 isn't much to me but I'm already paying that each month.
  10. The minigame, Mobilising Armies, will have a very minimal effect on the economy especially for junk items. The minigame is currently too hard with minimal rewards for the large amount of effort put in. To put simply, the minigame targets all of the wrong players. The majority of players will always want cash. Erm. I meant 3rd age/Spirit shields/Rares. >_> Thanks though. People were still buying 3A melee in W2 earlier. I'll check in a bit, as I'm curious myself.
  11. Operating system?
  12. I would. In a society where this is deemed okay I'm sure I would have different principles.
  13. I just put it to sleep. 50kWh annually under idle usage which amounts to maybe five pounds a year.
  14. I'm just curious, how often do you restart or shutdown your computer? As iStat counts it, my computer has been on for almost 33 days. Just started over because of updates, though.

  16. "Hey, you wanna 26k?" "Sure." or "Join my cc. Wanna 26k?" "Sure."
  17. Aww, I kind of enjoyed the new font; it had a smoother look.
  18. Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, and Diamond.
  19. Have you had issues resupplying your troops?
  20. The problem with that, even if you blame the company, is that you're criminalizing the victim. If I lost all the work that I put into my account I would demand a refund or at least a return of items lost. Should they deny my claim I would take action through third parties (as I have a years worth of membership). Would I expect any form of compensation through these means? Of course not but it shows the company that customers do take their data seriously. I would do the same for any bit of software that caused me to lose hours worth of data. Why should a game be any different?
  21. The special spot is what is leading people to camp. There should be a far lesser number away from the base, if they must remain at all.
  22. No, the game is flooded with money, which is what these artifacts represent.
  23. Hate to say "+1" but this sums up half of the thread.
  24. Er... We are approaching 600 songs as of Mobilizing Army and you're completely doubting that there will ever be a music cape? *600 songs *Introduction of bards with the running update *A clandestine hint noting that the next update will be "low-key." I won't say that there will or won't be, but completely ignoring these signs is almost ignorant. I guess we'll see who's right tommrow. I never professed a side, hence there is no "right" or "wrong."
