An otter. My father had one, so it would be pretty neat.

Indeed. I don't think people recommend alpha or beta software for full time use, however.

Mom charged $80,000 per song for file sharing
if no one shares the songs, file sharing would die though. Maybe in the Internet, but people will always still share songs with friends and burn CDs and just simply continue the loop. A real world audience is infinitesimal compared to the amount of people you can find online.

Your first car wreck.
I had one accident while there was still black ice on the road during a mild climate. I'll spare the imagery, but the vehicle, an Explorer of some sorts, ended up mangled beside the mountainous terrain that I was on. Rubble protruded through the driver's side of the car which uprooted the driver's seat. It was twisted in such a way that the left side the seat hit the steering wheel, precisely where my shoulder laid; I was pinned by my left side. It mustn't have been a minute until someone who was trailing me aided me and called for help. I was then transfered to the hospital to have a minor form of surgery on my arm. Unfortunately, during the surgery, my arm was dropped while I was unconscious. The nerves where stretched in such a way that they cannot recover from. I am now unable to move my arm above my shoulder.

Pirated movies: Why?
To be honest Zierro, I am lost at the subject. Both aspects are negligible in this case. Am I correct in assuming that we both hold similar opinions but the message was poorly conveyed on my part, as I feel it was?

Problems with Rs in Chrome
If we're looking at SunSpider's Javascript performance, Safari 4 tops Chrome 2.0, FF 3.5 Beta4, FF 3.0, and Opera 9.6 in that order. The same order is repeated under i-Bench's HTML comparison. Not that I'm saying Opera is no good, as it does just fall under Acid3's 100/100.

Pirated movies: Why?
And I never stated it was, as I'm not debating the semantics of what a gift is. Simply that people do it. I'm just stating that is not common practice. "Why did you buy that Tee?" to which, "Because it looks cool," is usually the answer. I applaud you for your practices but it's not common.

How do you permantly remove Grokster?
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+remove+Grokster Can't really help until we know what OS you're running. Interestingly enough, if you use the link above, you'll see this topic on the first page.

Pirated movies: Why?
So they should obtain it for free anyways, regardless of whether or not it hurts sales? The graph leaves too many variables by nature. As a technology becomes more develops, more people being to use it. Look, you obviously disagree with it morally -- but why can't you just accept the fact that there is no direct or indirect relationship with pirating and movie, music and game sales? I mean if anything just look at the article Errdoth posted. Regardless of whether or not I believe it morally or believe it to help or hurt sales, the article only addresses large downloads and shows a graph of technology becoming more adopted after development. Not everyone is a pirate who downloads hundreds of songs which they can't afford and I'd be willing to bet that they make up a minority. The graph itself shows no correlation to pirating because there are too many variables to consider. For example, the advancements in gaming platforms have brought gaming to an all-time high and DVDs have greatly advanced the market since 1999, a cheap affordable media disk. If pirating is helping sales, we cannot discern from that graph because we already know that these technologies are rising naturally. But we also can't see if it is dragging it down as there is no projected height over x amount of years. I'm somewhat surprised that others simply accept this article and its implications with submission. There are points in paying for things even if you can get them for free. It's a very prevalent tradition to spend money to get a gift for someone. I mean, you don't see people letting others borrow their flashdrive to download their music as a birthday gift - they buy a CD instead because it makes a more appropriate gift. Another reason is to support your favorite band, game company, or whatever. It might be a more rare thing than gift exchanges, but I've known people who buy things because to them it serves as an example of their appreciation, and they like the feeling of helping support the people who make the stuff that they are interested in. The former is easily overcome by a CD burner and a Sharpie. The latter is not a common mindset for the average person, and certainly is not common among those considering piracy. If you're speaking in reference to those who do not, that was the point I was attempting to elucidate.

Need help with Verizon Wireless Internet card
Spybot could be blocking the program, I'm sure others here will explain how to get it off. Though Norton and SBS&D cater to different groups. If you wanted anti-virus you should lean more towards Avira Free or AVG (most recommend Avira). Because, as its name would suggest, SBS&D is more of a spyware or malware remover.

Pirated movies: Why?
No, I'll have fun watching movies from talented filmmakers who are passionate about making movies, regardless of what kind of budget they have and what kind of money it makes. If movies stop making as much money because of piracy (which is not the case, piracy doesn't affect movie sales at all) the only difference is we will see less big budget movies to safe franchises. I'm somewhat bemused at people working without pay. Actors are not the only thing that goes into a film, especially quality films where money surpasses nine digits. Soon after, the theaters close which results in a slight decline in local revenue and job positions. I can assure you that piracy does have an impact on both live films and physical media. Why pay when you can watch it for free in the comforts of your home? But the argument doesn't hold up, because people still pay. The ones who aren't paying probably wouldn't anyways. There are also a number of people like me who pirate, then pay for the good stuff. Piracy hasn't hurt sales at all, and in some cases actually helps. Where pirated versions are better than the legal counterparts (for example TV shows, they are high quality and no commercials) traditional numbers have gone down, but DVD sales are even higher. Piracy doesn't hurt the movies or music industry, and it just hurts the advertising part of the TV industry (but DVD sales make up for that), so it isn't causing job loss. And the reason theaters are shutting down most likely is because it costs $6 to see a matinee movie (not bad) but if you want to eat and drink something it is $6 more at least. They charge exorbitant prices for everything. Probably wouldn't? That's not a safe assumption to make. For instance, I do not have a television in my household and the only way I am able to view the news or television shows is through legal websites such as Hulu. Now, what if these websites did not exist? I'd probably buy a T.V. at least to watch the news. When something is free for a user, there's no point in paying to buy the same thing.

Custom Build internal fixing/tape
Why wouldn't it do the job? Where there any worries about it melting or catching fire? It's doubtful that a computer would reach such temperatures. I mean, I'd use something like electrical tape just to be safe.

Did it cost two arms and a leg? $21,000 USD. I'm not driving currently, as it's not at my current place of residence.
