Your Runecrafting level isn't even that of a respectable level and the you lack the data to prove your opinion. Thus you lack experience and credibility in this thread. Not to sound rude.

Bubsa Sings for Charity: What happened next.
Perhaps it left the store with the addition of iTunes Plus. I don't see it at all.

Why can't adults drink?
Please explain. Because it seems for every person that DOES drink responsibly, there's 10 screaming idiots that are just an accident waiting to happen. An example is the fireworks outside right now. It's good that they're getting into the spirit of the holiday, honoring their great nation, but half of these people have no idea what they're doing, and I wouldnt be surprised if by the end of the day I hear screaming and find that someone lost a hand. No, could you please elucidate your statement which I quoted.

Why can't adults drink?
People aren't too fond of the eighteenth amendment, just look how that worked out 90 year ago. My family is filled with bootleggers from the 1920s. But the issue has already manifested itself. Take alcohol out of the picture, or even tax how it is sold and economically the country would suffer. The majority of profit from bars and restaurants that sell alcoholic beverages are those beverages. If these places where to close, many would lose their jobs.

Why can't adults drink?
In this society, alcohol is a needed asset. How so? I might be going on a tangent here but you'll notice alcohal is only a major problem here in America, and thats because of the restrictions we put on it. Look at countries in Europe that don't have those kind of restrictions and the amount of people with alcohal problems is significantly lower. Similar to cigarettes, alcohol is sown into our society.

Why can't adults drink?
People have died by knives accidentally. There have been tons of accidental deaths from cars, machinery, stairs, sports, scissors, electricity, etc. Why does the line suddenly appear once we talk about alcohol? Because knives don't impair your vision and thought process, slur your speech and lessen motor functions; a knife isn't a depressant. Knives rely on user control rather than weakening those controls. They have a use in society other than economical and recreational. Children aren't allowed to buy knives under the age of eighteen anyway, in the UK. They enjoy the side effects of alcohol or simply enjoy its taste. In this case, you must rely on the civility of people to use an item responsibly; alcohol diminishes this civility.

So then why are knives legal? In the hands of someone irresponsible, they are way more deadly than alcohol. A knife is a utensil used for cutting food. Unless you mean like combat knives or then yeah... Yes, knives have a practical use, but so does drinking. There are tons of people who do drink responsibly. Just because there are some that don't, I don't see that as an argument to make it unavailable to everybody. It's unfair to those that drink responsibly and use their knives for eating. You simply said that it has a practical purpose because it can be used responsibly. Alcohol is a poison and has little practical use. Not all poisons have a practical use, despite being used responsibly.

Why can't adults drink?
Small amounts of alcohol (ie, that in beer and wine, etc) has little to no long term detriments when consumed appropriately. This applies to a wide range of ages, including those below 21. I still feel that the age requirement should remain stationary. The key word there being appropriately. If everyone drank responsibly there wouldn't be an issue, but most people don't. I'm just repeating this over and over again but people still seem to think that everyone thinks rationally. Giving an idiot a beer is just slightly less deadly than giving Jeffery Dahmer a knife. Which is why I said that the requirement shouldn't be lifted.

A little bit of proofreading help/suggestions please
I'm never in favor of lying to your parents, but since your brother also plays Runescape, could you say the same thing about Runescape? Two voices and bored children have a way changing an idea.

Homosexuality: Right or Wrong?
I was more concerned about that in conjunction with this tidbit. I disagree with the decision my supervisor made the other day. Assuming I was of the Christian faith, should I let her rot in hell?

Which sort of bike are you referring to?

Homosexuality: Right or Wrong?
Is that not a contradiction in some form? The gay community has done nothing to disturb you and therefor you believe that you should not disturb them. Yet you would allow someone else to take that belief away and make a decision for you?

ITunes and CD Burning?
Songs that you buy under iTunes can be burned to a CD. You simply drag the songs into a playlist (or make a new one, prior) and select "Burn Disc."

Firefox 3.5 - What do you think?
I noticed a few bugs that weren't present on the previous versions, unsure if it's OS specific. When an applet is loaded and the dialog box comes up, asking you to allow/deny, Firefox no longer becomes the active window. I then have to minimize Firefox to the dock and open it again to regain control. Clicking does not work nor does typing until I do this.
