  1. Are you sure you're switching worlds correctly? You can click on a world and continuously click enter. This should at very max take five minutes. But I usually get into W2 within a minute.
  2. Do not list any items. I am unsure about what option to take. I believe that if you say that your account was stolen, you'll simply get an automated message giving your denial. Saying that there has been a mistake may increase your chances of getting a real person to read your appeal or increase your chances of an automated approval. I would go with the first option, as they may check for IP differences.
  3. He should. Taking responsibility shows maturity and he was clearly at fault for losing the account.
  4. First, I apologize for the actions that were taken by my account which resulted in it being muted. Awkward phrasing. On the day of the offence I did not have access to my account because it was hacked and I did not get it back until 3 days later. Awkward phrasing. Try changing it to: On the day the offence took place I was not in control of my account. I later found it to be in the possession of another user; my account was stolen. I believe [this user; eliminate 'has.'] [broke rules and regulations which resulted in a permanent muting]. The [user] also took [several items within my account of significant monetary value]. I take responsibility for [these action; eliminate the comma] but I do not feel I should be punished for the offences [i have been charged with]. [i am; do not use conjunctions] sorry [eliminate 'once again'] for the trouble [this may] have caused. To ensure that this [does not] happen again, I [have] changed my recovery questions and [my] password, [i will continue to do so] regularly. Thank you for your time and consideration. [i am] sure you will see the truth and understand that I am not at fault for this [changed to 'offence' for consistency].
  5. Many prevailing civilizations have diffused with that of another to be associated with that name. An example includes the Roman empire. Similar to this, a country can retain a certain image over a period of time to retain such symbolism.
  6. I'll second Avira. Both are trojan free but Avira will give you popups if you don't disable them.
  7. There should be a reset button on the modem itself. If not unplug all connections and the the power cord. Wait thirty seconds before plugging it back in. It'll push a new IP.
  8. Did you win yours? I pushed them with the attorney general. It was at that point they saw me as more than a whining customer and gave me the refund.
  9. A lawsuit over a power cord? @OP: Just call HP up and ask. It's pretty easy. I wasn't referring to filing a lawsuit.
  10. Since this will be moved... You should call HP and at least ask. In all honesty, if they refuse to replace the cord I would file a complaint through a third party. But many people here think I'm lawsuit happy.
  11. [hide=]I chose to exclude personal information as I believe that this will turn into age or educational separation of opinions. I am old enough to drink by UK standards. 1. Have you ever attended a worship of any religion? -by choice? Yes. -What kind of worship? I have been to Christian, Jewish, and Hindu services. -Did you regularly attend this worship, by choice or parental guidance? No, it was for cultural studies. 2. Do you consider yourself religious? No, I do not. 3. Is there a god, gods, or a supreme deity? I believe there to be an ultimate deity, yes. 4. Is there an afterlife? No. 5. How do you believe that existence came about? (in a nutshell) I am unsure what you define as existence. 6. Have you ever attended a worship of any religion that you do not consider yourself a part of? -What? Yes, explained in question one. -Your thoughts on the experience It was interesting to learn the foundations of different religions by witnessing their beliefs. 7. What are your thoughts on non Judeo-Christian Western religions? Morals are brought about commonly by various religions, I believe that these beliefs have ultimately brought about radical changes to society. I believe it to be for the better. 8. What are your thoughts on Judeo-Christian religions? Remember that religion is a broad term and that both of these groups have many subdivisions that have radically different beliefs and practices. I do not believe I know enough about the subject to hold a firm opinion. 9. What are your thoughts on Asian religions? Remember that religion is a broad term so please be specific. Remember that religion is a broad term, so please be specific. Also note that many alternative and pagan practices are not affiliated with Satanic worship. I do not feel as if anything is wrong with such practices. Yet many openly criticize these practices and bring up subjective debates they know nothing of. 14. What are your thoughts on atheism, the belief that there is no supreme being(s)? Please remember that there are degrees to this belief, and that not all share the same thoughts. I would classify myself as an ignostic atheist. Should there be a supreme being I doubt worship was what was planned. 15. What are your thoughts on agnosticism, the belief that a supreme being(s) exists, but the individual chooses not to worship it/them? Refer to question 14. 16. Have you ever publicly chastised someone who believes in a religion/school of thought different than yours? No, but I do enjoy religious subjects. 17. If you belong to a religion or non-religion, please identify. 18. Is intelligence (not IQ, but actual intelligence) correlated to one's belief in a religion or non-religion? Keep in mind that intelligence can not be measured by any science, this is simply your judgment call. No, which is why I chose to opt out of the first questions asked. 19. Does religion, in your observation, do good in the world? Please cite specific groups or denominations. In principle I believe it does/did. 20. Does non-religion, in your observation, do good in the world? Please cite specific groups or denominations. Yes, it fuels demand for other non-religious questions. 21. Does religion, in your observation, do bad in the world? Please cite specific groups or denominations. I am not sure at this point. 22. Does non-religion, in your observation, do bad in the world? It simply comes up in a relationship when two people are ready, so to speak. 29. Have you ever partaken in an illicit substance (excluding alcohol or marijuana)? No. 30. Have you ever partaken in marijuana? Yes. I do not habitually use the substance nor do I continue to partake in its use. I do not believe I ever got stoned. I felt as though I was not myself; I was willing to do other things I was not accustom to prior to use. 31. Have you ever partaken in the consumption of alcohol? Yes. -Do you drink socially or alone? Or both? Both. -Have you ever been drunk? No. -Have you ever lost control of your actions while under the influence of marijuana [should be alcohol]? I do not believe so. Perhaps mildly. 32. Have you ever partaken in the consumption of alcohol? -Do you drink socially or alone? Or both? -Have you ever been drunk? -Have you ever lost control of your actions while under the influence of marijuana?
  12. Except it's really too late for that now. PvP will be nerfed and panics will ensue. People will dump everything and anything. The prices on items have risen dramatically and it's difficult to see their value in all this.
  13. That depends, are you only getting these popups while on the site?
  14. What pin is the DVI cable?
  15. It's true or at least in that area.
  16. There are many minigames that serve as a compromise between either experience or money versus other more efficient but mundane ways. Who knows, if the raw materials teleport (I forgot the name) turns out to increase experience in such a way that curves this inefficiency it may be worth it from the rewards. But both statements refer to this and I am unsure how you drew otherwise. I probably am missing what you're trying to say; sorry  What I've gotten is: you don't like MA and the rewards (which would be the only other reason to play), are not worth getting because they take to long to get the 'good' rank and you could be making money instead. Yes or no? :| *I do not find the game fun. *The game doesn't come close to compromising exp or gp versus other methods. *I could be making money, yes, but only in the sense that I value my time highly. *The low leveled rings do not come close to being efficient items to obtain. If I found the game fun, I would continue playing. If I found the rewards to be attractive, I would continue playing. Because I find both against my tastes, I will not continue playing. My posts attempt to consecutively bring up the point the title states: "your." I'm not going to stand here and tell you what not to play, simply that, in general, the rewards are not worth the effort of leveling ranks.

http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Condoms-(male-and-female)/Pages/Introduction.aspx?url=Pages/what-is-it.aspx A large percentage of men and women do not use condoms correctly. Typical use of condoms puts condoms at 84% effective against pregnancies. 98% is really just the advertised statistic. Citation needed :) It's in a previous post on this thread, if you really want it. EDIT:http://www.youngwomenshealth.org/malecontraceptives1.html

  19. I am bemused at the thought of rationalizing another actions in this case. Perhaps he was merchanting at the Grand Exchange when the update appeared and forgot to bank. Perhaps he was looking for what he needed to buy. What difference does it make that it wasn't of a negligible amount? I carried 1M when I teleported to the latest minigame and I did the tutorial with it in my inventory. While I consider that amount to be of little importance to my overall status, if I had lost it I probably would have dropped my membership later that day. Why? Because I experienced poor customer support which, to me, is everything.
  20. All minigames can be fun for some, that's inevitable. What entices most users are the end rewards, hence the reiteration made from crossing two different posters.
  21. This is where many put their discrepancies. If a company explicitly states that a product is safe, you should expect it to be safe (and it's actually covered in the US by an implied warranty and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act). Say I buy a toaster a the mini-mart down the street. I get back home and begin toasting my bread. But while the lever is still down, indicating that the bread is not yet toasted, the hot pieces of bread erupt violently onto my kitchen counter, landing atop two pieces of paper containing toasting instructions. The pieces of bread burst the papers into flames. I ring up the company only to hear that others are having the same issue but I am not entitled to a refund for the toaster (in similarity to the items lost during MA, in game) much less my damaged goods (in comparison to an entire account). Odd isn't it? All signs, on the box and on the toasting device itself, indicate that the act of toasting was safe yet I may have lost my entire house. Your trite analogy attempts to put common sense into logic that relies solely on the companies statements; there is nothing "common" about it. Before you ask, I develop applications for the iPhone/iPod Touch using Xcode with a market of over a thousand customers.
  22. You're assuming that all of us are striving to make money. Maybe people, including myself, are going to enjoy getting the rewards from this mini-game as a BREAK from the usual grind. I think what people fail to realize is that these mini-games and such that Jagex are releasing are not supposed to replace your every day routine, they're simply a break. When you kids start to realize that, then maybe you'll be a little happier with the updates. I had already addressed that in a previous post.
  23. Erm, that's not what people are saying.
