I'm not sure I understand. An MP3 is an MP3. There is little change between them. Many places, including iTunes, stock music at 256kbps. The only thing that will change the quality of the sound you here, then, are the headphones though which you listen.

For an extra 75M with less versatility? I'd pay 70M tops for a spectral.

Yup. If you want an iPod, buy an iPod. If you want a cheaper MP3 player buy from someone else, as Nadril suggested.

It's +30. Also, ely/divine isn't as good as a spectral in cw. The point while having that shield on is not to get frozen by an ancient. The +30 mage def is much better than the +2 mage def along with damage reduction in that situation. (Besides, once you get the flag you won't have a shield/wand to protect you) It was in comparison to the dragonfire shield, which is currently the best shield for Castle Wars outside of spirit shields. And I find good mages in smaller CW worlds a rare occurrence (if you venture to W15 it's Chazo), where most of the damage is taken running between castles. With a DFS you get added melee defenses, protection from dragons, and a slight -20 magic defense in comparison to a spectal. It's a 75M difference for an added 20 magic defense.

the creatures do not have to be low level.... with a divine, regen brace and phoenix necklace i'm fairly sure i could afk on a level 70+ creature for 6 hours straight until my rol teleports me to safety. Using force doesn't solve this problem- it goes deep to the game engine to crack this nut. Poop, cheating? How can you be sure? that kind of reports get yourself banned..... Anyone has been able to take advantage of this for years now, it has only now flourished within the public. If they afk on a level 70 monster at least there is some danger. There is simply no way to prevent the entirety of afking and going further just adds to the complexity of the game.

Eh, I'd take Elysian for Castle Wars. Once your prayer drains you're out of luck with the divine there. Still waiting for Spectral to drop back to 50-70m, though. There's no way I am paying 95M for +20 magic defense at the expense of several melee defenses.

You will receive more appropriate responses in Help and Advice. In addition, the abyssal whip is one of the most saturated items in the game among higher levels. If the price has been stable for long periods of time, it is doubtful that a trough period will occur anytime soon sans future updates. Just make all spells hit every 50th/100th cast. It's too small to help real mages but it's large enough to hurt akers who afk on low hp creatures.

You'll have to use a separate audio jack to gain any sound. Pure_MageUK is correct in saying that there are two-in-one devices that allow inputs of DVI/VGA and audio which is then converted into HDMI, giving you both a digital/analog signal as well as audio.

Level 94 I love Castle Wars but I never thought of it as a skill (although using skills and tactics in-game are often needed). I could have gotten 6 more runecrafting levels and surpassed 14m exp in that time. That's kind of droll.

At Castle Wars I frequently get asked, "Armor?" followed by, "Friends?" I answer their first question and turn down their second.

The game revolves around combat and trying to totally avoid it is just silly. I have had two friends that told me that they "ruined" their skiller by gaining a hitpoints level in some way or another. A week later I looked up their status on the highscores only to see that they had raised 50 attack levels! It seems then that they suppressed their combat levels to adhere to the stereotypical level 3 skiller. Not liking combat is one aspect, avoiding it completely is another. To each their own, but it just seems like a bother to conform to locked skills.

Not my quote. :P I tried one wireless one (which could just be attributed to its nature), the Aslm, and one noise cancelation one (I only remember the one name because it stood out). I found that the base was overly boomy two of the models and the neutrality was sub par across the board. Maybe for the price, I guess. When I was shopping, price wasn't my major concern - I spent like $80 on a pair of headphones I could enjoy on the plane. I won't generalize an entire company's line based on three models, but the ones I tried weren't all that hot. Certainly up from Apple's stock headphones, though.

I used the trial and I would encourage its use. But $99 a year (you can get in on Amazon for $60) is still too hefty for my taste. The only application I used in MobileMe was the photo gallery because I could show numerous albums to people with just a link. They would then upload their photos, so it was kind of neat. I would consider paying if they knocked it down to a sub $50 one time only fee. There is no way I would pay that price, though. :thumbdown:

I went looking for a nice pair of headphones a month or so ago and I can tell you that I did not find them with Skullcandy. Horrible bass and neutrality on all of their models. I went with an in-ear style instead but I never tried out the other brand you mentioned.
