  2. I usually wake up at 4:30am which gives me two hours of leisure before practice. I go to bed around 8pm and fall asleep at 9pm.

I love post count. When I have nothing better to do, I'll read through a thread, look at the users who post, and attempt to guess at their accumulated posts.
  4. The icons themselves need to be updated. How long have they been there?
  5. While you certainly posted in the right section, the users in The Gallery might also be able to help you. ;)
  6. Agreed, smithing would be the best skill for this. Perhaps prayer as well. To steal an idea from another thread, the ability to bless certain armors.
  7. Hulu I have a second monitor hooked up, so it is easy to watch shows and fish at the same time but it shouldn't be difficult to fit both on one screen.

I have Ubuntu and Windows 7 virtualized on my MacBook and I much prefer Windows. Generally I am biased, having used Windows for most of my life. But give it a shot; there are multiple distros that will fit on your USB drive or CD.
  9. I wouldn't buy the monitor if it only has VGA and USB ports. Did you buy an OS?
  10. Open up the Control Panel and select Power Options>Advanced and select from the menu, "when I close the lid of my portable computer," to sleep.

I was going to reply to this sooner but the post limit stopped me. I just reply, go to the off-topic forum, see what new topic(s) have been posted on, read the new posts, and try to reply. Which I manage to do under 45 seconds. Yeah, this happens to me quite often in Off-Topic. Did it get longer or something (I haven't read the entire 6 pages)? I enjoy the Deflection theme, as the white is too bright for my taste.
  12. Which was your concluding statement. I'm not a PKer and the things I take part in may very well not exist without it. It's perfectly logical to say that Runescape is "nothing" without PKing because many changes would have to be put into action in order to keep balance. Saying that the poll shows a minority is a rather weak argument (which I say without trying to be rude or condescending). As I said, many minorities throughout history (and in Runescape, as shown by higher levels, et cetera) tend to hold the most influence and power. It is very likely that those 4% of players hold a larger share of wealth than 4%. Oh course it's ridiculous to say that Runescape is nothing without player killing but that is not the sentiment of the statement.

  14. I don't think that they quite have familiars-specifically combat-down. It would like to see an improvement in that area.

  16. Without a doubt. Community-oriented people in Runescape usually turn up to be skillers as opposed to PKers. Even if this is not the case, PKing is to be considered one of Runescape's top classes or ranks alongside skilling and PvM. For this reason it is easy to say that Runescape, as it is today, would not exist without PKing. Thus it is not a myth-it never was-but perhaps a matter of perspective. As you see throughout history, largely in real life though you could use several online examples, minorities tend to hold the largest influence. Based on this fact alone it's easy to refute your statement. While I agree with many of your posts, Paw_Claw, I disagree with your concluding statement.

  18. Welcome back. You can reintroduce yourself here. :) To help you fill in the recent updates you can re-post your questions in Help & Advice.
  19. Hmm. I have no clue, then. You could try AppleCare, but I think they'll just talk you through a clean installation.
  20. Do you have the various Runescape worlds under Java Preferences>Security? Should look like world2.runescape.com If not, hit the + icon and add 'runescape.com' Under the General tab in Java Preferences drag Java SE 6 32-bit in both the plugins and applications. Then open up Applications and secondary-click Safari. Hit "Get Info" and check the box to run Safari in 32-bit mode. Attempt to run Runescape.
  21. Just with Safari? If so, I can easily give you the file to swap. To check something, my Utilities>Java Preferances>Advanced settings look like the following: Debugging (what is checked): N/A Java Console(what is checked) : Do not start console Shortcut creation (what is checked): Prompt user if hinted Security (what is not checked): Show site cert. from server even if valid Check publisher cert. for revocation Enable online cert validation Enable list of trusted publishers Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format
  22. The cache will automatically determine your regular state of play (members or not). ;) You can find the news post here. Locking, as you got your answer.

Nothing all that impressive, but it's not like I was in the market for one anyway.
  24. Do you have a router or are you a strictly wired?
