  1. Yes, you can add any number of HDDs/SSDs from any number of manufacturers so long as you have the ports to hold them. So in your case, if you went with the Western Digital HDD with the two Seagate drives still installed, you should not have a problem.
  2. What was he charged with? And the conviction? EDIT: Never mind, it was hidden behind a box.
  3. It's difficult to tell who is speaking. For instance in the above paragraph the majority of the dialogue is between two speakers, the person on the phone and one of the persons who was in bed, but then a third speaker enters without an introduction in the last sentence.

Yesterday I was hanging out with a couple of guys and they had a a barbecue. Since I don't like hamburgers, I decided to whip up my own little meal which consisted of: cold pizza, corn nuts, a fluffernutter sandwich, a packet of uncooked ramen, ciabatta bread (with olive oil, of course!), and decarbonized bobby's world diet cola.
  5. Exactly. I'm not sure what the native size is, but I'm guessing it's one of those options listed in the video (I've never uploaded anything to YouTube) 320x265, 425x344, 480x385 or 640x505. But I just measured your video and I'm pulling up 640x360, which is, I'm guessing, the 16:9 format of 640x505? 640x360 is the actual size of the player, and that's the size I would try.
  6. You've already figured it out! It's because YouTube is scaling your video to fit the flash player. If you crop your video to the proper size it will get rid of the blurriness. Oh and about the H.264 and flash, I guess it kind of added a bit of complexity to this thread, but I'll try and explain. Flash and H.264 are two different plug-ins used to play audio and video. When you upload to YouTube, your video is converted into both H.264 and flash where the former is used for things like the iPhone and the iPod Touch where flash is not used. Flash is used by most computers and is pretty much the conventional standard for adverts and movies (but there are many others). You can use both to watch YouTube videos.
  7. It wants me to log in to view it and I don't have a YouTube account. But here are a few pictures to show the difference between H.264 and flash, in that order: A slight difference, but I don't think it's to blame in your problem. Is it blurry before you put it on YouTube?
  8. His video, by default is loaded to HD which may be a factor, I notice that yours is not. Flash, however, is a heavy means of viewing video and it may well be the conversion that is sapping your quality. Could you post a link to your video so that I may compare watching it in both HD H.264 and flash?
  9. Apple replaces the screen, case, defective part(s), and I believe the battery as well, on all refurb iPod Touch models.
  10. The 3rd generations (excluding the 8GB, which just got a price drop) received the same CPU in the iPhone 3GS which is faster than its predecessor. This would be much appreciated if you think you may want to toy around with apps and games on your iPod Touch. It also has more RAM and support for OpenGL ES 2.0. I believe it also has an FM transceiver and hardware to support 802.11n WiFi but both of these are not supported yet by the software and cannot be used on the device. The 8GB version is a second generation product sold at a lower price and has none of these minor improvements. I would personally go for the 16GB 2nd generation if you can find it cheaper, but at the difference you mention I think it would be worth it to get the 32GB.
  11. A laptop stand, some cables from Monoprice, and I would have bought an Intel X-25 80GB but the second generation drives were out of stock at Newegg.

I do not believe I have ever read a piece so well written on these forums.
  13. I've used rubbing alcohol before. 70% isopropyl will done fine (a dollar for half a litre at a gas station or marketplace) and it will not damage circuitry. Alcohol dries quickly in relation to water and is a great cleaning product that does not contain any ionic compounds unlike tap water.

It already is if the state or the family can prove it. If you confide your suicidal behavior in someone like a doctor or a counselor, they are legally bound to tell a higher authority even if it breaks an privacy privileges. You don't even have to prompt their behavior to be legally charged. If you knew that someone planned on killing themselves or someone else, you can and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law provided there is evidence to prove it.
  15. That sounds like a settings issue, if you are able to access sites like Google or Tip.it. However, because it is present on all of your computers it rules out issues with cacheing or browser preferences. That is, unless you are not logged in as an administrator. In any case, reseting the router may help. If you have a router supplied from Apple: open up Airport Utilities (found under Applications>Utilities) and choose Manuel Setup>Assist Me>Restore to factory settings and set up again. Should you have a different router: press and hold a physical button on the back/bottom of the router for about 10-30 seconds. It may also prove worthy to check out 192.168.1.1 (place this in your address bar without "www.") and make sure that the settings reverted. If not you will need to manually change them back. The address I mentioned will only be available when your router is directly hooked up to the computer.
  16. It would have to be something the average player could not resist, much like Summoning (after several updates). If not, plenty of people, myself included, shall simply ignore this new skill. I have made at least 115M while playing nothing but Castle Wars by just keeping on eye on what items I own. At this point I am reluctant to part with the items I have now, as they are the items I use on a daily basis. Just hope for a well though out and placed skill that incorporates the qualities of previous money sinks. :) Now I saw that someone a few pages ago asked about a Spectral. I looked on the forum for a good hour on the status and saw that it was selling with junk for ~80M. However, when I put an offer in for the minimum price (~108M at the time) it did not buy for the ~8 hours I had allotted. I upped the price to 110M with no luck and finally settled on 111M where it bought in five minutes. I must then conclude that the forums do not give an accurate representation on the price of the Spectral Shield.
  17. Reset your modem if you have one. Then hook up one of your computers directly to an ethernet port (bypass the router but not the modem if you have one) and then turn of Airport through System Preferences. Attempt to access the sites you have mentioned. Even if this-in the long run-is not a feasible location for your computer it will tell you what your issue is. If you are able to access the internet then your router is to blame, if not then you should ring up your ISP. What type of router do you have?
  18. Bought a new toy for Castle Wars. I was thinking about buying a 3rd Age Amulet, but I think the melee defence and the prayer bonus of the Fury outweigh the nominal magic defence that the 3rd Age offers.
  19. It's before the user's OS turns on, lowering the likelihood of some sort of malware.
  20. I doubt it's the router if it's working with an external USB adapter. The only other thing might be to reinstall Windows, but if it's already having problems it might be worth it just to exchange it or get a refund if you're within the allotted time. Judging by the amount of hits that showed up with a Google search (I would cite, but you've probably already read them all) it seems that it's not a problem worth tackling. I'll vote for returning the laptop. Even if you can manage to get it working, a problem such as this shouldn't be happening (especially this soon!) and isn't worth your time to constantly fix.
  21. Oh yes, I totally deserve to be called a smartass when I'm assuming what you told me to assume; there is nothing complex about it. I have no idea where you are from, what your budget is (saying not to break your wallet isn't a good feel), or if you have any peripherals, as you've been mum thus far. MoBo $240 CPU $290Don't even consider an C2D/X2 if you're concerned about lifespan. GPU $110 or this one at $135 RAM $90 HDD $74 Longer warranty, 5 years vs 3 years on most PSU $100 DVD/CD Drive $32 OS $105 I'm not going to bother with a case or fans at the moment. I've never bought a CPU by itself before, so I don't know if it includes any thermal adhesive or not (it does include a heat sink and a fan). Total so far: $1041 USD
  22. Scroll down a bit farther. ;)
