1. Stuck in game while it's over. If you look at the chat box in the first one you'll see. I beleive Laura posted the first picture previously, which is how I know  Oh. I forgot I posted the first one. But I was actually pointing out the lack of score tallies and I think I was still in the game for the second picture. :P What is wrong with the minimap?
2. Not sure where people got the notion that you have to post a picture for every reply you make in this thread. You don't have to "unspam" your posts so long as it adheres to Tip.it rules, is responding to a previous picture or comment, and is within reason (we don't need to start long topics/debates in here). I mean, if you have a string of replies to each picture people will take notice, but a commenting on a picture is fine. Spot the glitch (pictures taken at different times but the glitch is the same, besides the infinity boots on the rocks):
3. Meh. Just don't even worry about the resolution; it's fine for you. I'm sorry I even brought it up because I don't want to scare you out of your purchase. I know, that is why I wasn't making a big deal out of it. I just like to see DVI because many monitors are still without HDMI. Actually, around where I live, most of the screens you find in stores do have an HDMI port on them, almost every screen. Oh certainly. Most of the newer monitors coming out have HDMI.
4. Eh, resolution is a tricky thing. If you get it too high then it becomes difficult to read fonts. If you get it too low, no one will want to play games or use it for watching movies. That same resolution is used on some 10.1" screens and could be acceptable at around 14". I'm not going to say that you're going to loathe or love it because many factors tie in.The safest bet is to try out laptops in person to see what is acceptable for you, even if you don't plan on buying the laptops you're trying, but just viewing the screens. I have a 16" HP that has the same resolution as my current laptop (1280x800) which is 13". The resolution didn't bother me on the 16" because I had never seen much different, but I now see how much space went to waste. I would personally opt for a larger resolution because it matters to me (and lately I have been persnickety about my computers) but I cannot decide that for you. Again, try looking at other laptops in a nearby store. Once you find a screen you're comfortable with, jot down the resolution and shop where you want. That is, if you're truly worried about it. Good luck. ;) I know, that is why I wasn't making a big deal out of it. I just like to see DVI because many monitors are still without HDMI.
5. Not a fan of the resolution, but I don't think you'll find much else at that price point. I would also prefer having a DVI port, but HDMI can be converted so it's no big deal. Looks good otherwise; it should perform well with what you want.
6. Don't suggest that. That's not safe at all. And msconfig is just as bad for people who don't know what they are turning off. Ccleaner might be the only thing that helps. Defragmentation will doubtably do anything you notice.
7. Ah. I just had the same problem on my Dell. I reinstalled the OS, reinstalled the drivers, and more, but nothing helped. Not that I am spouting that this problem should only happen to Dells (as no doubt, someone one would have taken it that way) but it was one of the problems that lead me to threaten a lawsuit. In any case, someone here should direct you to reinstall your IGP (integrated graphics card) drivers. I'm not currently running Windows and do not remember the do-how.
8. By chance, is it a Dell? In any case, what is your graphics card card and what OS are you running?

10. Got a picture of that new computer you want to share? What about that old switchboard in your basement? A phone you just bought? Share it here! You can also share your unique browser theme, skin, and software. But please don't post if a picture violates Jagex's rules of Conduct or our Tip.it Forum Rules. Please also remember that screen sizes can vary, so use SPOILER tags for larger pictures.

If you're posting a computer remember to include specification of your machine. If you are unsure about how to take a picture of your screen and/or upload it to the internet, please read the How-To Guide: Posting an Image. 11. There's something extremely wrong with the system when the players have to act when the company will not.
12. That's because in P2P, gilded altar has a Bury-X function so it's much easier to train now. That being said, why is Runecrafting the highest? I expected Construction and Summoning to be higher up... Maybe this list has given me something to do... at last, a long term goal. Because Runecrafting caps out at 50k exp/hour and the more common method gives about 28k exp/hour. Construction can provide hundreds of exp/ hour with SC hammers and Summoning isn't a skill that most people actively train, but rather a skill they get with their 99 combat skills and Slayer.
13. This board contains many threads regarding the Runescape economy/PvP and this seems to be most fitting. I have added your opening post to the linked thread so that other users may share their input. Happy Halloween from all of us at Tip.it. |^_^|
14. That's only the memory you can see. A 32-bit system can handle addresses for 4GB but can only supply 3.25GB to any single process. A 64-bit system can handle up to 16 exabytes or 18,446,744,073 GB. On Windows, Microsoft caps the maximum amount of memory on some of their OSs to 128GB for any single process. Just adding to what sbrideau2000 said. |^_^|
15. I do this all the time. With other things as well. :)
16. Laura replied to Alg's topic in General Discussion
I don't remember the last time I reported someone. There was an obvious problem apparent on the old system, but I'm not sure this is the answer. Not that it bothers me at all.
17. I'm glad they installed humor in their video. It makes the company that much more appealing.

19. :?: :?: :?: What's confusing there? A mac is indeed a computer. However in my experience people never refer to mac as computers in passing. People will refer to a desktop or laptop running linux, windows or w/e as a computer; but if they have a mac or mac book people tend to call it that. Eg when asked what computers you have I have seen people say I have 2 desktops, a laptop and a mac. My friend at uni won't say hes going to do his work on his computer or go on his computer, or heck even when it crashes who wont swear about his computer. He will however refer to his mac all the time. So my point was simple: The user said he had no tech savvy and that he had a computer. Based on this we can safely assume it is running whatever operating system it came with, and therefore is unlikly to have one of the more obscure ones (in terms on non-tech ppl neway) such as linux or indeed have a non-mac running OS X or snow leopard. Factor into this the cultural norm to call a mac a mac rather than a computer and we can assume he does not have a mac; which would point us to anything but a mac. Going back to the initial idea of pre-installed operating systems it is a safe assumption that if it is not a mac it will be running windows. Hence my advice was tailored to windows to the best of my knowledge. I'll agree that there are people who do that, but my comment wasn't tailored to that. I assumed he was using Windows (as it makes up the largest OS percent here) but Windows does not refer to any specific OS.
20. :?: :?: :?: It is possible on Windows and OS X. I don't have enough experience to answer for Linux.
21. What operating system are you using? This is possible on several of them. :)
22. Windows 7 has less system requirements, not more. Vista Windows 7
23. The video card claims an address from the operating system before your DIMMS, which are, as far as the OS is concerned, the least important thing to need an address. The OS, providing it is 32-bit, is incapable of filling addresses past 4GB. I guess you would be correct that what isn't used for the DIMMS is given to the GPU/IGP, but it would the same for a system with 1GB or a 1MB or RAM. Your statement makes it appear as though one will receive a bonus for surpassing 4GB on a 32-bit OS, which doesn't occur; the rest is not routed to your GPU/IGP. It may be possible that your system has an IGP that can occupy ~256MB, but it cannot receive an address from the operating system after all of them are filled. That is my understanding, someone correct me if I am wrong.
24. There are several topics covering the status of the Runescape economy and for general advice these should suffice. For any other specifics (such as the fluctuations of one item), there is H&A. ;) Moved. :)
25. By using a router? Or am I misunderstanding the question?
