They're just pictures of normal things with filters slammed on top of them.
  2. That looks like a gradient from Photoshop, so compliments if that was done in Paint.
  3. Woah that's a fine piece of artistic ability!
  4. Hahahaha classic Siggified.
  5. It's well made but unoriginal. 6/10
  6. you go to file-save for web, to save it as a jpg/gif etc and channels are complicated, just go to window-channels and make sure all the boxes are checked the channels normally come tabbed along with paths with the layer palette.

Yea post the original. Looks quite good actually, pop art style it looks cool.
  8. You can get early versions of photshop for pennies on eBay. Photoshop 7 is the best bet, with 6 as a back up which is also great incase you cant get 7. But seriously if you don't want to spend money, the gimp is easily the best option.
  9. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with this picture. You have depth, shading and light sources, pretty good anatomy and perspective. Also that goblin looks pretty cool too. Perhaps work on smoothing out the jagged lines and blending the shading more to make it look more realistic. Good job though, it looks nice.
  10. Lol! I doubt there will be a next time round, but we can still keep our fingers crossed, eh?
  11. have a look at the channels, make sure they are all checked
  12. Wooooooooooooooo! *dances* *alot* Just the subject alone makes me like this sig lol. I think the sig looks a little choppy in places, try smooth it out with a nice blur.
  13. I found one on wacom.com, you can draw on the actual screen etc. Cost like ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã2000!

Reminds me of Terley's old sig. Not a bad thing btw. Looking good atm, too early to give proper crit really.
  15. Brushes can be used to create a vast majority of effects, if you don't use them you're basically wasting a whole section of your repertoire.
  16. I think I could, easily. It's nice to see you've finally acquired your diploma in witty retorts. Off-topic: Why is there so much flaming going on atm? Like 3 topics have already been closed and this one has a good chance of it happening. Is there just an influx of angst-filled noobs or are people more irritable around Christmas?
  17. Very very nice. Top one is the best by far, you might want to mess around with the Levels on the others, make them much lighter. Good job.
  18. That actually looks very good, I had something completely different in my mind. You might want to start on the hood now quickly, so you don't get carried away for nothing on the head area. I think the right arm might also be a little too long, in relation to the left arm at least.
  19. That took you 45 minutes? I can do that in 5 on Paint. This really does require no skill to put together, no imagination. To give you some credit, I'll say that it is put together well. :-w

    Are you a Pastafarian too?
  21. Dude that's utter genius!
  22. Hehe, the ranger guy on the photoshop number 2 sig looks like James Hetfield from Metallica. :-w Nice sigs, you got some skills.
  23. The text placement is much better. But something still seems wrong with the dragon's head. Not too sure atm I'l think about that. And get rid of that little white line that runs through the middle of the right half of the signature, it messes with the vibe too much. Good overall though.
