I had the opportunity to go see Green Day at the Milton Keynes Bowl, the concert that was made into Bullet In A Bible. Unfortunately my friend didn't tidy his room so his mum sold the tickets. -.-

    Moved.
  4. Moved. It's nothing to do with us not wanting people to pyramid 'quotes or something'. It's to do with the phpbb3 code, it doesn't allow for hide tags to be nested inside each other. I'm sure it's trying to be fixed but if I remember rightly it's quite difficult.
  5. miracleman58, completely unnecessary. Please don't do it again. Locked, Pryomancer.
  6. That's why we were hoping PVP worlds would change that. :P
  7. The Graveyard forum is where all pking drops should be posted.

  11. Not bad at all. Are the random drops good? (The ones that are calculated)
  12. Learning new words and developing your language skills are only going to help you in life, you should all be eager to learn! :shame:
  13. You shouldn't be playing games at school. The network admins probably disabled Java so you can't do stuff like that.
  14. It won't go up because of content. The reason it increased is because of the current financial crisis.
  15. Please post this in the Trivial YouTube Videos Sticky. Locked, Pryomancer.
  16. I love using 'thus', probably because I love Old English and such. If I could write as deftly as Shakespeare, I would. Ratiocinative Of, relating to, marked by, or skilled in methodical and logical reasoning. Eloquent Expressive and good at communicating effectively Diplomatic Able to sort out arguments and be fair (roughly, it's more complicated than that) Amicable Friendly Pulchritudinous Characterised by beauty :P
  17. I always respect a writer when they use correct spelling, puncuation and grammar. If I find lots of technical mistakes then for me the piece just loses credibility. I've never used the spell check function on FireFox, it never even crosses my mind. Without (hopefully) sounding like I'm boasting, I've always had a good command of my language and I'd say I have a pretty sophisticated style. Things like typos don't really bother me too much, that just shows laziness if there are loads. I have the odd typo, but that's usually because I rush it. I always try to quickly scan my text before I submit it. Full grammatical errors however always catch my eye, because you can't accidentally make them. It's your knowledge of how the language works. Of course I know some people don't like to write or were never fully taught it, but still. I guess I'm just a perfectionist (read:grammar nazi).
  18. On a serious note (I couldn't resist posting that), it is important for the moderators and crew of ANY forum to display the level of communication that is ideal, which everyone should aspire to. I know a lot of people won't agree, but I think language and grammar is incredibly important. A forum in particular needs good language skills, since it is primarily (arguably) for communication between similar people. surly u wudnt wnt us tlkin lyk dis
  19. Tip.It's Moderators are chosen because they are eloquent, diplomatic, amicable and ratiocinative. We're also a pulchritudinous bunch.
  20. [hide=] [img=http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/1852/2s2hpryomancerv1yk6.jpg][/hide] Hope it's ok, tell me if you want anything changed.
  21. Maybe not that one in the link provided, I don't know what the hell that is. But there was something similar recently, which was clearly just a turtle without a shell.
  22. I think they should, and I'm all for naming them publicly, too. If some yobbish, delinquent lout is terrorising his/her neighbourhood, then I see no reason why they shouldn't be punished and named to warn future areas of that person's behaviour. As for serious crimes, I think the same rule should apply. They need to be punished. Everyone, by their teenage years, can understand that killing or maiming etc is morally and socially wrong, and they need to suffer the consequence of their actions. If they had a depraved upbringing and don't know the difference, then they need to find out what society's reaction to their actions is. Of course the current view of imprisonment is to rehabilitate, which is a much better course of action.
  23. Good old Nihilism. It's very easy to ask "what's the point of everything?", and many people do. However it's not really worth the effort to try and figure it out, because there isn't a simple answer.
