  1. This has been added, thank you! EDIT: That thread was moved to a completed updates forum.
  2. Same, they also restore a small amount of prayer, so the damage and defense loss means nothing while praying. I typically use them at aberrants and black demons.
  3. You have to finish it before you can fish in the monkfish fishing spots. Before when you fish monkfish you will get a special untradeable kind that only heals 1 ;)
  4. I couldn't care less. I play in low-detail as it is, even though I have more than adequate specs for the new detail level, and I'm almost certainly going to try out the new level for a day or two, then switch back. I don't play this game for the scenery.
  5. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=516151 Try to read all of the forum stickies such as the one above; they contain lots of useful information ;)
  6. Black Demons are ONLY good in the chaos tunels, edge and taverly drop little to none. The last three greater tasks I did I got around 25 charms a task, about half of what I was getting previously before the new quest, but haven't done any in about a week, could have changed or I could have been unlucky. Blacks are best meleed, but can be safe-ranged in the tunnels. I would also advise killing dust devils. EDIT: Black demons in the chaos tunnels are the best charm droppers of all these three.

As of the last time I was there, they were better than greaters. (Greater demons charm drops got cut roughly in half around a week ago) I got around 500 crimsons in around 1.5k kills, along with roughly half that number of golds. I didn't bother picking up greens, and I got around 20 blues. They're no where near as good as fiends, and worse than black demons(who were slightly better than greaters pre-nerf in chas tunnels.)
  8. I sound like an idiot, and I can't spell. A lethal combination! :P
  9. All three of these have been added, thanks! For the remaining two canes, the information still required is : Rune Cane: picture, weight, examine, alch(this could be valuation at a general store or anything of the four) Adamant Cane: weight, examine, alch(same as above) Thanks everyone! (Yes, the crew is busy, I myself am supposed to be studying for taking exams now.)
  10. Blind Faith. They make one absolutely amazing album, and then split up :(
  11. I really advise you to get a defender, the ~+20 melee attack bonuses and the strength really blow away the book, it also gives a small defense bonus. I sold my obby shield after long periods of unuse, it's only really useful at things like daggonoth kings and the like, and is not used for everyday things like slayer. If you need more defense, I recommend a d sq or dragonfire shield, although these are more expensive. The book, however, is simply amazing for ranging with a crossbow, best possible shield slot for that, +8 to range with no negative. Do as much of the rfd quest as you can, the metallic gloves are the best in game, if you can't get mithril or above, then a combat bracelet is for you.
  12. Hmm, we say different. I better look into that, thank you! I've added this into the the broad arrow entry and also the fletching guide(which should be up soon). Still in the process for bolts. :) Thanks again! :D
  13. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=692325 That's the origional not the cached, seems it was older than 3 months. Some of the submissions are likely missing, however.
  14. Great! I've been looking for this information :) One thing: don't dragon arrows give 16.3 xp each?
  15. Like to point out this requires completion of Regicide :)
  16. Getting into Isdafar requires(only starting and going through the pass)Regicide; you only need to start MEP1 to get into Lletya. If your clue is in Lletya, you gain access to it at the very start of the quest, so no real work required, all you have to do is talk to the elves.

    I used a hellkitten successfully. :)
  18. The reverse. With anti-fire pot and mage pray, metals will still own you with fire. However, all coloured dragons including KBD's fire breath counts as a mage attack, so praying mage with antifire pot blocks ALL of it.
  19. I could easily say the same to you. I'll summarize my views into just this: People > Animals. Period. If a man wants to kill something, as long as it's not human, he should be able to. I think a man has much more right to kill a random person then a random animal. What about, say, a spider? I'm willing to bet nearly every person on this earth would prefer to kill a spider than a dog, and would rather kill, say a rat than a cat. To me, this stinks of hypocrisy, and the fact that people care more about killing a "cute" animal than another one. That's why, I agree, that people > animals.
  20. Thanks for trying to contribute :)
  21. It's a google web crawler that indexes pages for searches. Before they would have been viewed as guests, but phpbb3 distinguishes them from normal users now. Nothing to worry about, and no, they won't spam the forums :P
  22. I hate this idea, but it could be like Slashdot : on slashdot, you can set a threshold, so you only see posts rated above or at a certain level. EDIT: The reason I hate this idea has been rehashed over and over again, and most of my reasons have already been posted.
