  1. And it being the the forums with the most amount of people.
  2. If you have a higher summoning level I would actually reccomend you use guthans with a combat familiar.
  3. Don't, summoning aren't consider junk items for the most part. In fact, some are unbuyable. Make good pouches, and trade them in. Find another way to make junk.
  4. Neitiznot Also, lumbridge is fast if you can't access it.
  5. For now, this will be just a guide about explaining a few terms. Yes, I actually made this guide. Still has a few missing terms, but it will be udpated. I just wanted to start this guide out with a few terms. If you see any errors, please tell me because I'm human. If anybody wants me to add something, just post wht you want me to define. Aerials, or airs When you attack in the air, that is considered an Aerial attack. By putting a letter before it, you determine which attack it is. Bair, fair, uair, and dair which means Back aerial, forward aerial, up aerial, down aerial. Zair is also considered an aerial, and is used by pressing the Z button while in the air. Only certain characters who can use the tether recovery using the Z button has this type of attack. Airdodge Pressing guard in the air lets you evade all attacks. Arrow canceling - For Link and his toon version, if you shoot the arrow as you land you can cancel out most of the lag. AT - Advanced techniques. Autocancelling, auto canceled, ect By doing an attack fast enough in the air, you can make it so that by the time you land youre completely done with the move, which means no lag. For example, if you pick Gannandorf and immediately dair while a shorthop, there will be no lag if timed perfectly. B-stick, or B-sticking To make is so that using the C-stick on the Gamecube controller does a smash attack. Commonly used to use special attacks to recovery without fastfalling in the process. Cooking - By holding on to Snake's bomb, you "cook" or let the time limit run off on the bomb so by the time it hits the opponent, it explodes. Counter An attack that only a few characters possess. When attacked, they automatically do a counter-attack and ignore the previous attack that connected. For example, Marth and Ikes Down B attack. C-stick, or C-sticking To make it so that using the C-stick on the Gamecube controller does an uncharged smash attack. (Can be charged by holding the Z button) DI or Directional Influence Holding a direction can change the angle in which you fly off when you get hit by an attack. Disjointed hitbox Attacks that are not connected to a player, but still is not a projectile. For example, Pikman and his Smash attacks. Edgeguard Trying to not make the opponent. Edgehog Grabbing on the edge so the other player recover. When you grab the edge, you get invincibility frames. Also, in SSBM you used to be able to roll and your opponent could not grab the edge. In SSBB, however, they can grab the edge if you roll off. Frames - Super smash bros melee and brawl is 60 FPS. Gimp Hitting an opponent that is already off the ledge, making is so that they wont recover. Hitbox The amount of pixels an attack covers. Hyphen Smash - While running, hold the C stick down and press up z immediately. You should slide, and it works with a few characters like Link, Snake, and Shiek. Ken Ken Hoang was known to be the best player in SSBB, earning over $50,000 just from player SSBB! He mains Marth, and his alternative character is Fox. Ken theory The Ken theory states that all peach mainers are effeminate, metrosexual, homosexual, or are fat white people. Laser lock If an opponent lands on the floor because he was hit, blast him with a laser with Falco! This will trap him with an infinite. A jab lock is also possible, by pressing a when an opponent lands, and then walking to him and pressing a again, ect. Lip - Edges on certain stages where you can gimp yourself, like Final destination. Main The character you use the most, and most commonly you are the best with. Mindgames - Being unpredictable, predicting your opponents and punishing, ect. Priority When two attacks collide, the one with the higher priority will cancel the other attack out. Damage or knockback does not determine priority. Pro - Kent. Projectile Exactly what it says. Punish To attack an opponent that missed an attack with a large lag time. Quick dash attack - For dash attack, if you press the c stick instead of the a button for dash attacks, you can start up without running too much. If you press a during the startup frames for running, you do a smash attack. Yeah, but once you face somebody really good, they'll pass through those annoying lasers, shine, and f-smash easily. I would, bug I'm pretty laggy nowadays. Heh, I may actually start a topic like that, loll.... actually, I'll start one later... maybe.

DI = Directional influence. Basically, when you hold a direction while getting attack, you can change the angle which you fly off. By alot. In fact, if you are very good at DI'ing, you can do something like this... Tech roll: When you press L or R when you land on the floor you roll instantly. I probably mean tech chase whenever I said tech roll, which is exactly what it sounds like. You chase a person doing a tech roll and attack them. Smash DI: While I'm at it, I should explain some more so I don't get asked these questions. Basically, if you smash the c stick down while di'ing at the same time, it actually reduces how far you fly off. Crouch cancel: If you hold down, it's basically a DI downwards except you usually don't leave the floor as easily. Could be good, or bad. Heres an example. Look at jigglypuff. By the way. My snake is unbeatable  You might be able to beat my weaker characters though.
  8. I tested it once, watch the numbers you hit with 1 throw, and see the xp change, it's not 4 xp/1 hit. Unless...it got changed? Or I'm just drunk Bursting and all other multi ancients gives 2 xp/damage.
  9. Well, at those low stats, you should concentrate on leveling before anything. Also, summoning, in my opinion, is the most important stat in monster hunting. So try doing slayer and collect the charms.
  10. Get all 85+ then Bandos. Get 95+ for good bandos. :D
  11. If your going to cook, I would highly suggest cooking sharks before the required cooking level.
  12. No, familiars give invisible boosts. (Rofl, my intelligence owns yours! )

Hmm... I've only used Metaknight a few times, but my snake is my main \ For which character to pic, if I were on Smashboards I would say personal preference but here I will lay it out for you. Do you want a flexible projectile capable of knocking out an oponent? Or a highly spammable one that is a good antiaproach. Good, but hard to hit Ko moves? Or one thats can be pretty confusing and unpredictable, but lacks the devasting power of zelda's airs... However, if your going to use zelda, which I suggest, I would honestly have to say you have lots of things to learn. F-smash and U-smash are easily Di'ed, and you can expect me to take full advantange of that if I wasn't picking heavy ol' Snake... Try using ftilt and utilt as they have good ko ability, and are easy to hit with and you can't di out of a 1 hit attack. http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=164483 guide for wolf... try reading it. http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=158672 guide for zelda... try reading it. And it your wondering how people escape zelda's smash. http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=175950 And I agree. Logan increased his skills massively in a short time. I, myself, took many years... 8-)

Too bad we didn't have a 4th player. I pm'ed mano, but he logged... And as for more advice... To logan: * I saw something. If they roll back and you predict it, do f-b. * Dsmash is pretty weak now. You should've seen somebody try to crouch cancel one of those in melee. Instand 80 damange... . Now, their useless, DI out of them well and you get hit by 10 damage... * Try to techroll. To Mac: * Lol, try to get some general techniques. Sorry, I didn't have much time to play with you. To both: *I saw lots of things you guys did in common. When you spot-dodge, make sure you know whats coming. I see you guys spamming 5 of those in a row, resulting in a FALCON PUNCH!!!! * When you roll away, try not to leave yourself vulnerable. For example, I pull out a grenade when I get hit * Not sure how to improve this, but when I died, I see one attack coming and I think "Omg spot dodge to forward smash!!!" but instead you get hit by an obvious attack. Try to improve your reflexes, and it wasn't lag because I wasn't lagging during that point.
  15. Mummies are alot lower xp than MM.
  16. I'm not sure which is faster, barraging or stringing amulets. One of two I believe.
  17. Inuashakent replied to Caxis's topic in Off-Topic
Lemme join, I'll pick Captain falcon and show you the most amazing tech ever! !!!OMG LOOK@@@ 4 MAN BATTLE! Edit: Sorry if I lag out guys, I'm pretty sure Logan has the same problems... Anyways, I love FFA's :
  18. Well if you actually fight Lucas without using that dang infinite grab then it's a challenge. If you decide to wimp out you can resort to those tactics. I find that strategy cheap, just because it takes very little skill to pull off, just grabbing at the right time. So is falco's CG to dair [bleep]e. Diddy's infinite D throw. Olimar's camping/grabbing. Pika's spam. Pit spam. In fact, the only "cheap" tactic that does require skill is probably IC... Hehe. Soma. I'll own you with Lucas. Theres an extremely cheap tactic that lets me beat that infinite : To anybody that wants to know, keep reading. : : : : : : Don't get grabbed!
  19. Hehe, I didn't sign up for the first tourny. I doubt I can get that far in the finals due to real life issues which you can probably guess why... Lol. I want to do that with DDR... Anyways, I can bet you theres people very good at your school. Theres a student at my school who graduated, and he's extremmmely good at melee. He is pro-class, and I can't beat him most of the time... :-# I'm pretty sure I'm second best at my school though. :D Lastly, Wiimote is a bad controller to play with. If you get used to it, Gamecube controllers, especially the wavebird(forgot the name, I think thats it... I don't have one -.- ) owns. Manoman, you're probably going to be considered the best here for a very long time... lol. (You know thats not true.            ) [/spam]
  20. Mining coal. :ohnoes:
  21. Inuashakent replied to Moad14's topic in Help and Advice
It's actually lower than 1/10000 unless they changed it. Last time I checked, I heard from a huge log collected by many hunters it was about 1/25000.
  22. Inuashakent replied to Caxis's topic in Off-Topic
I'll go if it's not too late.
  23. I'll go ahead and say it. Cooking.
  24. Yeah, I'm waiting for them to repost it... if they are. It got lost in the rollback. And thanks for the  comments.
