I disagree. Summoning gives a lot of advantages to pures: * Certain monsters can make training a lot easier. For a low def character the bunyip can be a godbless. BoB monsters help pures too during certain tasks, for example ranging dragons. * It boosts your non-pvp combat level. This means you can get 85 combat for smoking kills faster than without summoning AND it won't affect negatively to your pkin. Why smoking kills? Because slayer is one good way to train combat in my opinion and the points are a nice addition. At least I prefer using the slayer helmet (faster xp during certain tasks) and buying slayer darts with the leftovers. I personally believe that summoning is a nice addon for pures. Spending few mils on it can pay itself back in saved food or time and it does basically no harm to them. I'm personally now training my pure's summoning up to the point when I can use a bunyip and then take a small break until the char's bank and charm balance allow me to train more. Actually, I 100% agree with you. This was before the PK updates, I'll update that...

But how long would all that updates take? And realistically, Jagex wouldn't do that. Combining essence, however, is plausible, and it will benefit people, as you said. Magic being cheaper, F2P having a better money source, and Runecrafters making more money. Those are long term benefits.

Anything in Fletching loses money, as darts and the like are SUPER fast xp. Stealing creations knives are a HUGE HUGE HUGE waste of time, just make 3 mil and you'll have 99 fletching using Magic longbows. Use those SC points on hammers instead.

Better for the F2P miners, and the Runecrafterse will have a bigger ess supply. IF rune prices go down, then it will benefit Mages.

Brawl is extremely slow paced, campy game. In a game with no combos, every % matters. (Seriously) So that's why people start planking, super camping, stalling... (Dont' get caught!) Brawl+ is the same game, but faster.

That wouldn't be long term, that's short term. But you have a point. Maybe Jagex should give a couple months notice, and on exactly that date the Essence would be combined.

I have to disagree. Who would it possibly cause tremendous upheaval for? Runecrafters? No. Sure, at the beginning, this would probably happen, but people would stop runecrafting completely. Supply and demand would force prices up... there is too much of a demand for Natures, Deaths, Laws, and Bloods for prices to be as low as 200 each rune. Prices will drop probably equivalent to that of the ess price drop after they become stable. Not sure about F2Pers. However, F2Pers miners will gain, if that counts for anything. And eliminating Pure essence will be removing an unneeded update, not a simple price fix. Members are in need of a bigger ess supply. Mining pure essence is horrible money, theres simply not enough people doing it.

No, I would NEVER recommend anybody go to PC for Range xp. It has low accuracy, which was your question, but it's superior to Black d hide unless the monster has high defense. (Steel dragon+)

No. Equip it when you are fighting monsters that have MORE than one rare drop. That way, the ROW acts and makes the rare drop more valuable. Such are the cases stated by Inuashakent. I'd also add fire giants, black demons and any enemy that drops more than one rune item. Well, you're technically right, but... Rune items go under the "rare" category. I would draw the line ABOVE rune, so that excludes rune items. (That's how much I value my time, at least) Every monster has rare drops, be it Rune items, Mystics, etc so if it drops something valuable such as Whips and Dark bows, the second wheel will never be just that 1 rare item. I should have said "Basically, whatever drops something valuable."

Void has low accuracy.

I use them for quests, farming runs, smithing, and rock lobsters. There are money making methods that can benefit from it, like tanning leathers. Overall, I would say to get them... they're worth it. I would go with a team, though.

Go to green dragons to train combat, tan them, and make Bodies. Alch the bodies and use the bones on a gilded altar. Whatever you do, don't go to Giants. They give very low xp, contrary to common belief. And don't train Summoning through golds, train through Crimsons. Barbarian fishing is by far better than Monkfish, but Monkfish is extremely easy to do... take your pick. As for framing, don't waste your time with hops, bushes and evil turnips. Just use (fruit) trees, herbs, and optionally allotments. Use abyss, don't use Graahks. And get Stealing creation hammers for Construction and Smithing.

Yes, but making 2 is faster than 3. It's a time vs money conflict... more trips means more money to pay Butlers (Which costs ~15m).

But worse in terms of Melee defense, which is more important. Bandos is slightly better for most people, but I would say in your case, it's not worth it. Use your money on Prayer potions and cannonballs.

I would wear standard Melee equipment (barrows, r defender, whip) and ignore the summons. Kill them in the Chaos tunnels with a combat familiar, although a Bunyip does work decently due to the Nech's high offense. And personally, I would not recommend anything but Waterfiends and Rock lobsters, but Nechs are decent for charms. Only go there if you hate Waterfiends, for whatever reason.
