Herb runs and dailies are where you can make a steady bit of cash, doesn't require a lot of effort but some of the daily things do have some quest/task/skill requirements. (Somebody is putting together a list of dailies I believe, I'll let you know whenever it's up on the AOW forum) There are also a few different monsters that you can effectively camp for making some cash. Ganodermic beasts (Level 95 slayer required) and Frost dragons (Level 85 Dungeoneering required for access to them) are nice and can give a very nice profit per trip. They take time to get to the levels for them, but if you're willing to do it then you'll find yourself with a nice way to make some money without having to go bossing. If you do, however, wish to try your hand at boss hunting, you should keep an eye out for the TMHT events (Tip.it Monster Hunting Team, which I'm gladly a part of!), we usually do bossing masses and all for fun, but it can give you a taste of what to expect from bosses nowadays, because if you haven't played properly since 2004, then you'll need to get to used to some of the bosses that have popped up since then!

I'm not completely sure on a better way, but isn't doing hard treks as fast as you can the best way to level them?

Yeah it seems you just had that bug where it swaps around options for an adjacent item...it's very strange! :P Surprised they still haven't fixed it, been around for a month or so now.

Bows is correct, this is the fastest method if you're not using the Abyss. Though do take in mind that it takes 10 seconds for the home teleport spell to work, and at that it leaves you beside the fishing shop in port sarim which is a bit far. When I used to watch "law runners" on their specific world, they just ran to the altar from draynor, then ran back. Didn't seem too bad though because they have them guards, you have to slow down for them which is annoying... But yeah, the main point is Ballons will be your friend, as long as you have access to the one at Castle Wars too! So you would start at Cwars, bring the log you need along with the ess, then go to entrana, go make runes then use the ring to take you back to Cwars and repeat

You should still give String Jewellery a go, it may save you money compared to Make glass (Not too sure on price for runes for Glass make + money from molten glass compared to cost of string jewllery) Besides, string jewellery is a bit afk too, one click per inventory... Also, do remember you can sell amulets to the Rouge in Varrock (After completing Summer's end and rescuing him from the Rouge's castle in the wilderness). You could look into something different, for example, if you can mine Conc. gold veins in LRC, then you can superheat the gold ore into bars. that way you train Magic, Mining and Smithing at once.

Don't play on one myself, though I've been trying to get on one with my brother and some other people he knows...seems like a good server!

Don't forget them lovely little items known as "Goliath Gloves", they are strong crush gloves, and you don't need a weapon with them! :P

Using the client or a browser? Try using the other option and seeing if that loads? If not, try uninstalling and reinstalling java?

I wanted the tasks too, but oh well, looks like i'll get some bolts for my alt account!

It's been all fine and safe for me so far, had my antivirus perform a scan on it incase there was anything bad on it but it was all good

Just downloaded "Tekkit", after watching Duncan of the Yogscast playing through it the passed week. It's a pretty nice little download! It's Minecraft but it has a different launcher and contains all them amazing mods, such as Industrialcraft, Equivalent Exchange, Too Many Items...and many more but I CBA to note them down! :P Here's the link to where you can install if from, if you haven't got it already!
