most ppl usually go to kill metal drags for their dragon drops and draconic visage...if you want to collect d bones to sell go kill green drags instead. you say 1k drags will give u 2m...well im sure that in 1k metal drags you should at least be able to get one d legs which is around 2m already unless you are EXTREMELY unlucky...ive killed around 400-500 and have gotten 3 d skirts and 2 d legs already...yea so dont bank the bones. if u want bank...green drags in my opinion.

i once thought it was absolutely impossible for someone like me to achieve 99 in any skills. but with determination i did manage to get my first 99 in def and it was a great accomplishment for me...now im currently working on 99 range too. when i first start playing any game the objective is usually to chill out and relax after a day of hard work and i guess this applies to most people to. however after seeing how many ppl get 99 in skills and the things one can do with 99 we naturally start dreaming about it and working towards these goals too. thus ive decided that on my journey to 99 range and 85 slayer ill only train during the weekdays and barrow/cw/kill kq/dk during the week ends. to some these might be ways of making money and i know some ppl do these activities all day long. however to me the excitement and anticipation of what ill get when i open the barrow chest is really immense. and when i do get a piece of armour the joy is greater of course but even if i dont get anything im usually still quite satisfied.

for f2p i would suggest choosing a few monsters and then training on each one for a couple of days before switching to another to keep away the boredom...

woodcutting stinks in f2p...for the simple reason that there are a hell lot of yew autoers and willow logs are dirt cheap. the autoers simply cause u to lose your drive to woodcut and makes you think that u are competing with a computer...which is true. so far everytime i cut yews (which has only been a few times due to the autoers) ive yet to find a SINGLE woodcutter who isnt an autoer since nobody responds to what i say and isnt it obvious just be their names and levels? ill say mining...with low lvl mining go mine iron till u get 60 then move on to coal in the mining guild. when u get to 85 u can make a significant amount of money per hour...ive 85 mining and when i go rune mining on a good hour i can mine around 22 rune ores which equals to 264k if u sell them for 12k each. thats more than what you would earn woodcutting from lvl 30 to 65. of course it takes more time to get to 85 mining but you get the idea =;

maybe buy some deaths and chaos and go have some fun bursting at cw? or get a whip and go kill train slayer? quite good drops ill say...

for the greaters you may get disturbed by pkers too often for comfort...and u cant bring large amount of arrows into wild which means u will not be able to camp there...and the walk to greaters isnt exactly short. ill say the ankous in stronghold of security...not many ppl know about it so most of them time im the only one training there...although their drops cant be compared to lessers the absence of ppl makes it worthwhile and you are able to continually range them without waiting for the next one to spawn...

well btw he gets 99 mining and 97 smithing with gold ill most probably be able to increase a lot of other skills and earn a substantial amount of money...

you mean few who have 99 cooking fish the fish they cook? yea cooking is a very fast skill to train which requires little money...you dont really incur a great cost if u buy raw and sell cook lobs/monks

yea ill wager the average combat lvl in tipitchat is around 70 and the average age around 13? (not saying that all low lvls are young and immature though) most of them keep spamming nonsensical stuff which has NO LINK at all to the topic being discussed resulting in spam wars. for example all of a sudden this guy says "i want jam i miss my jam...im going to cry cause there is no more jam" (i really saw someone typing that) and many of them are pretty stuck up arrogant ppl as well. there was once this guy (player A) who asked how much it was to repair a barrow set and player B said 340k. knowing that this was wrong i simply said "no i think its 330k". and i get some vulgarities thrown at me, he says that i am a noob and that toolkit says its 340k. like wth? im trying to be helpful and nice here but he comes in thinking that everything he says is right...and when i checked him up in the highscores later NONE of his levels showed up...i doubt he even owns a barrow set or is a member for that matter. the only reason why ill join tipitchat is to get rid of the boredom when im training range at ankous since ill only be able to get membership during the coming november school holidays.

warrior/berserker helm are also good for melee...i dont really see many ppl with dragon med. i used to have one but its stats are not much better than rune large and yet more than 10 times more expensive...ill suggest buying one of the fremik helms.

perhaps go for 99 def, range and mage? should be able to own most ppl...

i seriously doubt you will have the perseverance to mine gold till 99. not saying that you are lousy or anything but i doubt anyone other than ppl like n0valyfe or syzygy would have such determination and grit (cant imagine playing f2p for such a long time when you are tempted to get p2p since he surely must have his own credit card). ill suggest smithing them though...more exp and u can sell them for quite a good price too. i would suggest mining iron to get 99 mining and then go find some other way to make money....im sure this will be faster and make you more money than mining gold till 99 in the same time

go to the runescape main page and on the left column under "account recovery" click "appeal an offence/ban". from here you will be able to see how many black marks u have out of 10. if you have 10 or more you will get banned and if you have 9 you will be permanently muted. you get black marks only after jagex investigates not just when anyone reports you. that said, the jagex investigation system is EXTREMELY unreliable and i am inclined to believe that whether your appeal gets accepted or not depends totally on luck :-w

most probably he was asking so that he could use the Excalibur's special attack and not use it for combat...it gives a pretty decent def boost like the dragon baxe for str just that the Excalibur doesnt lower any of your other stats.

yup i agree...only bots read them...there have been plenty of cases where ppl sprout all sorts of garbage language and vulgarities in their appeal cases and they got accepted as well as a hell lot of ppl who talk nicely and appeal as best as possible but get rejected...you be the judge on jagex appeal system :-w

umm i would like a king black dragon as a pet to fly me around runescape and kill all the noobs on the ground who would be looking like ants to me up there in th sky :thumbsup: i would go to world 2 first and with one breath kill all those dumb merchanters :-w

i think around 10 should be good and remember to have a good amount of games necklaces as well :) wear blk d hide to prevent getting bursts/blitz/barraged

man...world hopping takes up a LOT of time..you may not find this so but when u try rune mining you will know jus how much time you waste for the message saying "...your profile will be transferred in: XX seconds" a real waste of time indeed...unless you have multiple member accounts of course...

err i beg to differ here...p2p IS for making money...FAST money at that. when i started p2p i had less than 2M but when i ended in a month later (school reopened) i had like 20M due to the barrows just coming out and i was on a rather lucky streak...got at least 2 g spears \ (but back then g helm was the most expensive and i didnt get a single one) barrowing is still profitable now...other ways to make money will be rcing or doing manage thy kingdom or training slayer as the drops are usually quite good...actually 800k may be a bit little for starting p2p since manage thy kingdom shd have at least 750k inside. ill recommend around 1-2M :thumbsup: oh and when i first started p2p i didnt buy a whip straight away. well not just because whip prices were rather high then but also dragon long/scim is more economical and quite good too (although of course cant be compared to the whip) use the money for a wider range of items instead of just buying 1 godly weapon. from the amount of money which you could have bought a whip you could buy a dds, drag skirt, drag med helm, drag scim/long and still have a pretty neat sum to spare. i used to train reasonably well and earn enough to top up the coffers everyday through the old version of pc but now its rather useless and i earn less and exp is less too.

from my experience its really quite slow and boring to catch red chinchompas...i think around 150-250 should be the average you will get per hour...ill much prefer runecrafting since its more exciting (the thought escaping a pker to make him furious :thumbsup: ) and its also more money per hour

most probably ill stay since ive achieved so much already...but not being able to talk when doing the most boring of tasks can be a real torture...not to mention the inability to sell/buy stuff. i suggest playing a bit and seeing how it goes...ill never train another account all the way to my current main stats cause to me it will be boring/meaningless to take the same route you have already journeyed upon...ill either start a pking account or just play another game altogether. yup in some ways its worse than being banned.

lol nice one...yea the appeal system is seriously screwed up that i wouldnt be surprised if the chance of your appeal being a success depends on pure luck just like the drop rate in the game. :-k i once saw a video on youtube where this guy wrote lots of vulgarities in his appeal asking the appeal reader to go have butt intercourse with his dad and it was not like one or two sentences but he literally spammed the whole appeal page with the same sentences and amazingly his appeal got accepted :-w

actually it is more annoying when you know u have a high mining lvl than the guy who just stole the rock from you...and some of them will shout "WOOT beat a lvl 85 miner!!!" #-o but yea the rocks are for all to use...if you dont like getting competition buy coal/use skeleton mines in wildy/get 59 mining with stout to enter mining guild...

ancient spells are really expensive and a waste unless u are really rich or doing something which can get u a pretty good sum of money like barrowing/pking. i suggest selling the bloods to buy cosmics. from 87-94 mage i used cosmics at the mage training arena and just kept casting enchant lvl 6 on the shapes...any shape will do since u dont really need the points...but since u are only at 78 mage try using the enchant lvl 5 first...it works fairly well too. remember to use a lava staff for lvl 6 enchant and mud staff for lvl 5 enchant...this way u only need to buy the cosmics....pretty fast and decent exp :)

are mime events really that rare...ive gotten so many of them that i no longer bother keeping the mime equipment but just drop them on the floor zzz...and yea ive all the emotes \
