im not sure if the new animation affects the speed which u mine the rock although there have been ppl who complained that it does. from my experience from mining coal and rune (the only 2 ores that i bother mining) i dont think it slows u down a lot, if it does in at all. however yea i do agree that the new animation makes me look like a total weirdo...so exaggerated for goodness sake...im 100% sure that ppl in real life do NOT mine like that. in fact if anyone did try to mine like that i can bet u that they will fall down flat on their face due to the weight of their body being unbalanced. seriously u look like u are doing some balancing act or having fits -.- in fact the previous animation was more realistic. unfortunately i think jagex felt that it was a bit too monotonous and wanted to spice it up a bit...just that it was not exactly what we wanted but good try nonetheless...just try to make it a bit more realistic ya :)

hey thats a pretty good suggestion imo...too bad im also f2p at the moment till the holidays start...at least this will allow ppl to see how they are progressing overall if they like to train by jumping from skill to skill :)

was supposed to be killing blue dragons at the orge enclave and was bored. so i was examining this orge shaman...ooo quite cool why not try talking to him? BHAM 20 -.- and even after that i thought: ah perhaps when he attacks he wont hit that much...well i died and lost around 800k of stuff including black mask zzz

Maybe you should open your damn eyes and read before you post. Also before you say some smart [wagon] thing like "why does it say we" the only reason why i put 'we' is because i was there with him while he was scamming. I wasn't on the computer with him and he wasn't doing it on my character. sorry but ive no respect for ppl who carry out such scams...anyway you were watching your cousin too and so if you had enough integrity you would have advised him not to cheat ppl just to make a quick profit. on top of that in real life if you know that someone is going to carry out a crime and you do nothing to stop him/her, you can get into trouble with the law as well...ppl work hard for their money and it is NOT nice at all to merely take away all the hours and effort they have put in for it. scamming is just like stealing and no one should use it as a way to make money...money can be easily made on rs. even on non members. i can make around 200k/hour jus mining rune on f2p...im EXTREMELY glad that jagex has implemented the new trade system...woe to you scammers! well a year or so ago when i still couldnt mine rune but was rather well off, a noob scammed me by offering 50k for an R2H. in my excitement i didnt realise that he removed the item at the last second and so i lost a R2H. at that time i was really mad, not so much with my loss but with the way he fooled me. u can be sure i never made the same mistake again. of course now all an R2H means to me is 10 minutes of rune mining :P

are u thinking of meleeing the brothers? i suggest not as the brothers have a strong def bonus and even if u use veracs set the effect does not occur all the time...i would suggest using slayer dart if u have a high enough slayer lvl...and also bringing veracs there when u are jus starting out will be very risky... also a higher range lvl will do you good against ahrims...especially since with my full blk d i dont have to pray against him...if u are using pray then use ur best ammo and bow/crossbow...good luck...im sure u can do it ;)

dont worry so much about your loss...members is all about making money :D with your stats you should be able to barrow quite efficiently except for ranging ahrims you may have a bit of a minor problem...who knows you may find another g spear ;) my best record was 3 verac helms and ahrim robe top in a day...if you feel that this is risky, you can train farming and herblore too with ppots or train slayer as slayer monsters give relatively good drops. im sure all of us have lost a huge sum of money at one go one point in time while playing rs...anyway its the community here that keeps me going, not so much my skills and cash :)

i guess mine will be after barrowing for around 1 and a half weeks...at that time i think the barrow drop rate was higher and barrow came out not long before so the prices were rather high. i remember getting 2 sets of guthan but no helms though :(, along with at least 3 pieces of armour from all the other melee brothers. At that time i didnt have a very clear idea how much they were worth but after i sold all of them i remember the sum i had was around 30+M which was A LOT to me at that time since i started members that month with only around 5M at the most...so managed to buy another santa (bought my first one at 500k long time ago :P)

i suggest if you want to range them then try to stick to iron drags cause for steel drags they are really hard to kill with a low range. with mith bolts, 97 range + range pot ill only be able to kill around 2 steel drags per dose of anti fire potion. iron drags are MUCH easier to kill as compared to their steel counterparts. also using ruby enchanted bolts at the start will make a big difference...

yea there isnt much strategy involved actually, just keep the money in your coffers above 750k or above 1.25m if you are richer...then cut maples every day...the way u allocate resources is entirely up to you...i usually get them to cut maples and flax or herbs.

you could try the ice warriors below the mountain where the ice queen resides or kalphites and there is a safe spot at the trolls where u can set up the cannon and kill all of them as though u were in a multi combat area as they cant attack u...its describe in the master jack axeman slayer guide or something like that...

actually it depends on what monster you are killing too...if u are hunting those big ones like fire giants and their ilk using the dragon hally spec is usually quite effective too, can hit over 50 quite often with jus 81 str. if you are hunting a monster with a massive amount of health like dragons then perhaps poisoning them with a dds would be useful...

it hits through armour and prayer but not on every hit...its special effect is random, just like all the other barrow sets...well each set has their different purpose: dharok is usually for pking and killing monsters while praying, guthan is for slayer and training for a long time without leaving a place and veracs is usually for fighting KQ, barrowing, hitting above average hits pretty consistently and stuff like that.

yea its always good to use an all rounder account for member as a pure will definitely not be able to enjoy the extra benefits as much. some of the fun stuff to do when u get member include farming (i know a lot of ppl beg to differ but seriously, this skill can be a good break from combat and does not require a lot of time as u can do something else while waiting), barrowing, fight caves, and actually just using all the extra powerful equipment available to members only... of course it is strongly advisable to have a sufficient sum of money before starting...perhaps 2 or 3M so that can at least get whip and some decent stuff...can easily get back the cash by barrowing or running nats anyway...members is all about making money :D
