I now consider Runescape to be a game of Jenga that has long been completely unstable. No matter what small move they do, something else is completely screwed up. I don't blame them for fearing large updates because look at what small updates can do. I still think that they should have said last year, "Screw it. No updates for 6 months. We're going to fix our damn game," and gone on and fixed all the code and suffered the monetary consequences.

I agree with the slowed down content. If you're talking about from the beginning of the year then don't forget NR, Strykewyrms, and trade limits though. However I do totally agree with you about members having been neglected recently. That's like placing a giant boulder on one side of a scale and then throwing a couple of baseballs on the other. Hardly evens things out now does it? But I haven't paid for membership at all this year and I doubt I will for a while longer. Doubt I'll even let other people pay for it, unless Ez has a few bucks knocking about. ;)

UUpdates have sucked lately. Did i say lately, I meant for a while. I've been rather disliking Runescape since MMG took over.

And like I said, that's just for the average person. Companies like Jagex pay their taxes more often, typically 4 times a year. Also, because of that their fiscal year can be anything really.

Very, very rarely since I don't PVP, Godwars, Corp, etc.

The original poster is clearly biased towards Americans in general so I won't address it. Like qeltar said though, practically all past presidents spend their time working with charity and releif efforts. Carter, Bush, Clinton, and Bush. I don't think Reagan did however.

I don't think Jagex really goes by American tax day. Also, that's not nearly as important a fiscal year because corporations pay taxes every quarter and that's even if they pay income taxes over here. Not sure.

The game sucks on many, many levels. This was quite an achievement as most of Jagex's failures sucked on a single level.

I thought your typical blog entry was little more than a forum post on a dedicated thread anyway =/ These aren't BTS's people. Though honestly I wouldn't mind if they actually revealed some of the future content to us. I mean they say they don't want to hype the new skill, but you don't have to tell anyone WHAT the skill is to hype it. They're saying the skill will be totally original and awesome, and when it comes out, if it isn't like that people are going to moan just as much as they did with summoning. What they really need to do is to be straightforward with people about what state the skill will be in after the release instead of being so damned enthusiastic about it. I mean it should be obvious that a new skill will have issues to work out after release based on feedback, but for some people I guess you have to spell that out. In any case you can never eliminate all whining, because you really can't please everyone. They're meant to be a replacement for BTS and honestly they're total crap as a substitute. I do agree though that they need to be more honest with us and stop treating us like we're 12.

Considering that it's the *4th* graphical rework I'm sure they're as tired of it as we are of waiting for it. Luckily it's just the graphics for the quest and the one for Zanaris are already done.

Well, in typical Jagex form they're talking about updates that are more than half a year away, but it's something that we know they'll have to release in a time period and won't be able to push back indefinitely. *cough* Fairy Tale pt.3 *cough*

Yes, I'm a whiner because it's not what I wanted. Not like I have an opinion about what I was hoping for and didn't get and simply said so. I'm clearly a whiner. I'm just as tired of people like you who tear people down simply because they don't like an update and completely ignoring their reasons. You just want to call everyone a "whiner: because then you can dismiss anything they might have to say that is contradictory to your own opinion because they're a "whiner." For this one, today is my last day of membership and I was hoping for something more to do with my last two days. I never said the update was bad, but not what I wanted for this particular week. So I was disppointed, not in the update, but in general. Oh, and FT3 is hardly in the pipeline. It's get another graphical rework. It's release date is now somewhat scheduled for august 31st, 2012.

Note: Shattered Heart and Fish Flingers are D&D's, not minigames.

First off, let me say I don't expect high level content every week. However, many of us were led to believe that 2010 would up the share of high level content more so than in years past. So far it really hasn't. I would say it feels like even less, but that's just me.

Well thats a shocker.... Oh screw you. I'm not criticizing the update. Not at all. It's simply for this week with my limited time left it's not the kind of update I'd have wanted, that's all.

It's not even been released yet <_< Give it a chance, it actually sounds quite interesting imo. Oh, it';s not that it's good or bad. It's just not what I wanted since my members runs out on Thursday I was hoping for something else is all. No criticism of the D&D as yet.

It's a D&D, not a minigame. And we just got a D&D. I don't know if this will be fun or not, but Ill just say I am a bit disappointed.

Since I casnnot beat Jad or Nomad and I don't have a 99, I wear one.
