(IF anyone thinks that i've copied them, i'm sorry. Your idea sounded so kickass that I decided to make it in my own way. If you want credit, i'll add it, kay?) Details: P2P Only. Requires Crafting and the sword itself This idea is quite simple, you need to have completed 'The Knights Sword' and have an adequete Crafting level to turn your sword into a Ceremonial Blade. Which Varieties of Sword can be changed into Blades of Ceremony? You may change Short Swords, Longswords, Scimitars and Two Handed Swords into Blades of Ceremony. All varieties of sword EXCEPT DRAGON, BRONZE, AND IRON may be changed, at the levels said below What are the levels you need to change the swords? Well, You need: Level 20: Steel Short or Long Swords (with Emeralds and 1 Blurite Bar) Level 25: Steel Scimitar or Two Hander (With Emeralds and 2 Blurite Bars) Level 35: Mithril Short or Long Swords (With Rubies and 1 Blurite Bar) Level 40: Mithril Scimitar or Two Hander (With Rubies and 2 Blurite Bars) Level 50: Adamant Short or Long Swords (With Diamonds and 2 Blurite Bars) Level 55: Adamant Scimitar or Two Hander (With Diamonds and 3 Blurite Bars) Level 65: Runite Short or Long Swords (With Diamonds, 2 Gold Bars and 3 Blurite Bars) Level 70: Runite Scimitar or Two Hander (With Diamonds, 4 Gold Bars and 6 Blurite Bars) What else can I do with them? These sound rubbish! First off, the Blades of Ceremony do NOT have different stats to their normal forms, and cannot be traded. They will, however, be sent straight to the Grand Exchange Collect Box of your killer OR shared equally in Lootshare for the value of the components at the HIGHEST value (so, the highest grand exchange prices for a Rune Scimitar, a Diamond, 4 Gold Bars, added to 6K for a Runite Blade of Ceremony) Next, You may enchant each Blade of Ceremony with the relevant Enchant Spell, giving effects as shown below: Artisan Blade: Enchanted Steel Blade of Ceremony If Short/Long Sword: The Special Attack is a Range Based Earth Attack, dealing Crushing Damage from 5-13. Costs 30% of your Bar If Scimitar/Two Hander: The Special Attack is a Range Based Earth Attack, dealing Crushing Damage from 8-17. Costs 40% of your Bar Revenant Blade: Enchanted Mithril Blade of Ceremony If Short/Long Sword: The Special Attack is a Mage/Range Attack, which ignores the armour of a Ghost/Undead. It deals 8-17 Damage. Costs 25% of your bar If Scimitar/Two Handed Sword: The Special Attack is the same as above, but the sword deals 12-21 Damage of no particular type against Undead or Ghosts in the Wilderness for the same amount of your Bar (25%) Fireforge's Blade: Enchanted Adamant Blade of Ceremony If Short/Long Sword: The Special Attack is a Melee Based attack which deals double damage. Costs 40% of your Bar If Scimitar/Two Hander: The Special Attack is a Melee/Mage Based Attack which deals normal damage of both types (not based on Magic Level) Honour Blade: Enchanted Runite Blade of Ceremony If Either Type of Blade: Your attacks have a Broodoo Effect in the first round of fighting. See Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup for Broodoo stuff If Short/Long Sword: The Special Attack gives you +15% Strength and Defence, at the cost of 10% Attack. Costs 25% of your Bar If Scimitar/Two Hander: The Special Attack gives you +20% Strength and +15% Defence, at the cost of 10% Attack. Costs 25% of your Bar Finally, and perhaps the most important, this is how you make the Blades of Ceremony: Firstly, Chisel 3 Cut Gems of the required gem into Gemdust. Then, add this dust to your Blurite Bars. Now use the Blade and Bars with a Furnace Secondly, you must add a Container of Water to this Blade. If you fail to do so, your Blade will be destroyed in 5 minutes. Thirdly, add a secondary Gem to the mix in the hilt. Add it back to the furnace when the Gem is in your inventory. Now repeat the Second Step OPTIONAL: Finally, use an Enchant of the relevant level TWICE on your Blade. Now you have your blade![/b]

Adding this would be beneficial to both F2P AND P2P so I don't see the problem in adding it How about a 15k limit which recharges 1k per minute? Then the following values would be for P2P: Quest Cape 55,000 210++++ 52,000 200 - 209 50,000 190 - 199 42,200 180 - 189 40,400 170 - 179 38,600 160 - 169 36,800 150 - 159 34,000 140 - 149 32,200 130 - 139 30,400 120 - 129 28,600 110 - 119 26,800 100 - 109 24,000 090 - 099 22,200 080 - 089 20,400 070 - 079 18,600 060 - 069 16,800 050 or less 15,000 I added 2 values, and 12,000 to each (applying what I thought would be adequete) Quest Cape people get a 25,000 increase. That should decrease the numbness of losing such an advantage to non payers!

Recoil, Forging, and Life Rings (if released to F2P) could be used as they are now The Phoenix NEcklace is the only necklace that could be used by F2P if the others were unchanged I'm F2P, and I say 'let the members have their stuff. We'll have Summoning soon enough...'

NOTE: Sorry if this feels a bit cliched or copied, its just that I was inspired to create a minigame by Medieval Total War 2. No intent in stealing other people's work. Background: [hide]Imagine it: On the edge of reality there is a barrier between worlds. Through here the first kings of runescape were thrust into the Barbarian holds of the past. Known as the Immortals, they had a longer life span than many of the eldest creatures of the world, and were nigh invincible. Their first years here in the grounds of Runescape was spent amassing great armies, and pledging allegiances to the gods. Then one day, they vanished alongside some of their greatest soldiers and some wimpy ones. And thus began the 1st Age of Recorded History Now, what would happen if three of these legions returned? Set in the Deepest Wilderness of F2P, this is an epic journey of groups of adventurers. The land beyond is not set in stone, but its inhabitants are. Nothing is barred, kings can fight among commoners with no difference and the Immortals stand and fight. Nothing is taken and nothing is gained. It is the perfect balance. Except, perhaps, from the fact that 2 of the elder gods and their followers are here. Zaros and Armadyl, ancient gods of the old, and Guthix (for some reason I couldn't think of another God of Balance) are here and so are their last blessings[/hide] Beyond the Veil: [hide] Join your Clan in the Journey all must take at some time, and walk along the brittle boundries of the Veil. Here, you will find the damned - many Revenants and Spirits inhabit the road into beyond and they will not hesitate to kill if necessary. And by the way, until you happen to cross over this is still a nonsafe place Along the Veil's boundary, you will find ancient treasures and antiques. There are holes and swampish areas where you will sink down if you do not pay attention, and at moments you will feel dead (your screen turning grey and hard to see in) like those who are doomed to exist here feel But this is Beyond the Veil. Beyond the Veil is a mirror of Runescape, and you will be introduced to the life lived in the 1st Age, giving you more of an idea of why you are here. You will then see a figure that is familiar to you - the spirit of a dead family member (but of your character NOT YOURS!) which will ask if you are sure about this. IF you say NO, you shall be teleported to the Bounty Hunter Volcano and if you say YES, you will be brought into the Fortress in the midst of the Battle of Venstrengrad (a mouthful, but it is an ancient name!) Here you will find thousands of monsters, and will find an Avatar of Guthix. You will be met with a screen asking which god you came for, and depending on your choice you will be given a different upgrade: a) Zaros = Higher Defence (10%) B) Armadyl = Higher Attack (10%) c) Guthix = Higher Attack and Defence (10%) [/hide] I'll add more soon, but this is the background and bare bones of the thing Complicated, isn't it? I'm just trying to add a megafight without unbalancing the rest of the game.

Summary of Points: [hide] 1) 3 Different Arena choices 2) Clan Rating - Get improved looks and stuff 3) War Supplies 4) Sub Point: How to Gain/Lose Blessing [/hide] 1) My first idea is to perhaps give 3 different options for your war battlefield. Such as: a) The Original One. More Obstacles would be added, as well as Berries that you could pick to regain health equal to about a Medic Pack (10% I believe?) B) Ground of Skulls. This battlefield would be scattered with Bones and many obstacles, and would require a lot of firepower to be able to attack. Bones could be buried to regain 5% health each time (NO PRAYER EXP!) and could be thrown as makeshift ranged weapons c) Dominion of Fire. By far the most volatile, damage would be dealed each 5 seconds to players who are just standing around, and high grounded areas would negate the damage. There are no healing items scattered, but Fire Spells do not require Fire runes to cast. 2) Known as Blessing, this marker of how good your clan was at warring would be gained or lost depending on how good or bad your Wars have been. Blessing would be used to claim matches against oher clans (explained further below) and would make a Clan Cape appear on all members of the clan during your stay within 2 wilderness levels of the Clan Wars meeting spot. Your cape's colour would be chosen by your Clan Chat Founder, and would become paler or stronger dependant on your Blessing, eventually becoming overwelmingly strong at about 1000 Blessing Clan Capes would allow you to have a Right Click attack option in the Wilderness or Clan Wars for your clan chat, and would display Clan Chat Members as Blue Spots. Your Founder will have the option of enabling Capes while in Pks (coming on when your Clan enters the wilderness) and would have different trims dependant on your clan chat rank (Grey to Gold) Blessing in the actual clan chat will be displayed INSTEAD OF your Combat Level, and will dictate whether you are Green or Red to your peers. Green would mean unblooded or badly ranked, and Red means that you are much higher ranked, and Yellow is near or equal ranking There will be a Blessing chart for the top 10000 Clans in the Runescape World 3) War Supplies will be a menu allowing your opponents and you to select war features. These would include: a) The Arena (3 arenas as said in Point 1) B) Options (Ranged? Maged? Melee? Fun Weapons?) - in order to avoid some people being unable to fight a new weapon of the type selected would be provided to those without the required weapon type(s) stated c) Total In at one time? (This would allow a certain amount of people in at once, from Highest to lowest combat level) d) Angel Assault? (This will allow a certain amount of members to be revived, after which the killed are not allowed in. No more than 3) e) Rewards? (This would allow each clan to put up items within 3k value of eachother as the stakes for the war. The declarer of war would have to have the items on hand at this point - they cannot be taken from teammates or the bank) 4) Blessing is gained or lost in a simple formulaic way. You take the combined Combat Level of the fighters and compare it. You take the difference from 150 and divided by the people fighting on the winning team For example, a Team of 2 Level 75s takes down a Team of 2 Level 45s and 1 Level 56. The difference is 4, and 146 (150 minus 4) is divided by 2. This makes the Blessing a gain of 73 THIS IS JUST A SUGGESTION

Ember: On the note of the GP:Ticket value I have not truly thought yet, but for the other point you have made I have been thinking about perhaps both people on the friend list/clan chat of another player which is in the crater WILL NOT be able to fight eachother*. Artificial Doom Flavor, your idea sounds like if it was added correctly it would be awesome. Does a Bloodlust Counter sound good? If you take 100 rounds of combat without dying you will get a 30 second increase in damage and get an additional ticket each time you kill someone. You will, however, have a red aura so that people will know that you currently have Bloodlust on On another note, I did not mention that tickets are untradeable with other players and are removed when you die unless banked prior. Also, Rogue bounty hunters get half the usual tickets placed into their inventory with half on the floor alongside normal loot *: But if people are doing a Open Level 'Find Me' or other such event there may be many people on the same clan chat, so the owner MUST specify if members on the chat can Hunt eachother. Otherwise they may not as described above. This option would have the following options: 1) Off - The Clan Chat owner has not set it or has decided to not allow this 2) Friendly - Attacks against people in the same clan chat as eachother do NOT yield tickets 3) Rivalry - The normal settings are in use, but killed members will be forced to 4) Death Match - The normal settings are in use, but killed members will be forced to stay out of the same crater of their comrades (this applies only if a comrade killed them of course)
-
Just a few ideas: 1) Split Areas of each crater into either Multi or Single Combat Zones. Hell, add an area in each one where there are monsters or something that make it difficult to just hide in an unseen or unused area 2) Make the craters a tiny bit smaller AND make the areas more distingushable. Hey, i've been to here before, haven't I? Oh, its just another rock that looks the SAME as earlier 3) Tickets Please! I'd like rewards and awesome looking trophies for being able to slay people as easil as here, so for each Level of Treasure the person has you will get more tickets to compensate for the lack of rewards when they die Crater (A) (Open) = Level of Treasure times 2.5 Crater (B) (126-138) = Level of Treasure times 2 + amount shown on Bounty Crater © (85-125) = Level of Treasure times 1.5 Crater (D) (44-84) = Level of Treasure times 1 Crater (E) (3-43) = Level of Treasure times 0.5 4) The prizes? Runes, Food, Armour, Arrows, and Weaponry! There would also perhaps be a new Dragon Item released due to the magnitude the Bounty Hunter Volcano (and related recent updates) have had on Runescape 5) Make more Craters and space the levels out more A) Open Level Crater - High Risk. There will be monsters of all levels (in a quarter, as suggested in Part 1) and also players of all levels. Clans will stalk most of the crater too, making it hard to come without partners B) Levels 126-138 - You'll make do with it. As the Summoning Update is PROBABLY members, i'll assume that this crater would also. Because of this, there will also be a Bounty Worth next to the person you have to kill in order to make the game more interesting. Lava Pits would be in there too, randomly damaging people on whim C) Levels 85-125 - This will be easier than the current extreme in my experiences (ok, so I just know from friends that it is ugly to fight in the current Medium Crater thanks to the high levels) so this is a bit extreme, but worth it. Can you get the golden ticket? D) Levels 44-84 - This is the lower medium one. The monsters are low levelled, the rewards are obviously better earned in the Higher Level rings, but apart from this the same E) Levels 3-43 - The Lowest LEvel, and pretty easy compared to before. the Level 43s will dread levelling up though Ember: On the note of the GP:Ticket value I have not truly thought yet, but for the other point you have made I have been thinking about perhaps both people on the friend list/clan chat of another player which is in the crater WILL NOT be able to fight eachother*. Snowballs, a wasted bank slot and hunter killer.
dv_trainer replied to Roberthree's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Also, perhaps you could light a fire on it to melt it? It sounds better than 'you cannot put a fire get' Oh, and are snowballs usable in Duel Arenas/Wildy as Fun Weapons? -
Hear Hear! This is a decent article! Though I would like to see a Letter to the Editor sometime soon...

[hide] Main Points: 4 areas - Changing the areas in order of risk rather than level. Instead of there being a large amount of difference between the best and worst people in a cave there could be simply a level distance effecting whether you are attacked New Boss Battle - Can you survive the Infernal Intricaces of The Savage himself? Well, if you want Summoning Exp, sure! More rogues - random events in the volcano to make up for not as many people being able to attack you? More rewards - Who gives a damn if you were dumb enough to bring that 2 mill in? Ok, so your level of wealth will not truly show in the drops, but those tokens can get mighty fine stuff... Others - Food Store and Teleport? Ok! [/hide] In order of the above: 4 areas instead of 3 [hide] Instead of those large thresholds as said by jagex originally, how about: Open Level - ALL people can attack you, and there is a HELLUVA lotta of randoms. You will get a higher amount of Bounty Hunter Prestige (prestige is what I am calling the thing that gets you onto high scores) than usual though! Levels 3-126 allowed High Difficulty - 80 level threshold here. that means the least levels a level 126 can attack is a level 46. There will be a high amount of randoms, but a lower amount of prestige than in Open Level Medium Difficulty - 60 Level threshold here. this means that the least levels a level 126 can attack is level 66. There will be a medium amount of randoms, and lower Prestige per kill than in High Difficulty Low Difficulty - 40 level threshold here. this means that the least levels a level 126 can attack is a level 86. There will be a low amount of randoms, and low Prestige per kill Oh, and the Prestige given is: Open Level - Difference of levels divided by 2 High Difficulty - Difference of levels divided by 3 Medium Difficulty - Difference of levels divided by 4 Low Difficulty - Difference of levels divided by 5 And incase equally levelled people attack eachother, the difference is counted as 2. Round all results up. Finally, there will now be a running kill count that allows you do double, triple, or even quadruple your Prestige and tokens! 1 in a row = half prestige 3 in a row = normal prestige 10 in a row = 1.5x prestige! 25 in a row = 2.5x prestige!! 50 in a row = 4x prestige!!!! 100 in a row = 5x the prestige and 100 free tokens (transferred to bank immediately). Player transported to Sevath the Savage (Boss Battle!!!) [/hide] Sevath the Savage: [hide] If you win 100 battles in a row you will find in the next floor of the Volcano that there is a little surprise - meet the Evil that has plagued the place of the first murder, the Murderer himself (or at least a direct descendant), Sevath! This Fiery Demon seems a tad bit unaccustomed to this home, and has only stayed put because he cannot escape unless the entire Volcano is destroyed! Guess what, that may just happen. You have been given the final challenge - destroy him before he destroys you! Form 1: Fire Warrior Sevath (Level 150) This form handicaps the First Murderer - he has to use his giant Greatsword to deal the death to you. He has, however, been chained up so for the first few rounds he will be too focussed on getting free. He is, however, huge and Fire Spells or attacks will make him better at killing you through the ficalties of healing magical rules He has himself a Traitor Greatsword that will use half the usual Spec Bar for its Special Attack - a point the beast will make out many times. Just take down 100hp before he decides to go into a lava pit to heal and you will win the first bout *NOTE: YOU MAY NOT LEAVE THE CAVERN, BUT YOU WILL BE HELPED BY A MAGICAL DOWNPOUR THAT HARDENS THE LAVA SO THAT HE CANNOT HEAL. THE HARD PART IS STILL TO COME THOUGH!* Form 2: Damned Warrior Sevath (Level 200) Ok, so he cannot heal, but his body has just mean immersed in rock and lava. Now you have to face the uber defence of a boulder with brains! You will have to rotate attack forms and how you defend, as occaisonally he will crack the lava around you and cause a Melee and Magic attack that hits through any armour - so bring good food! Apart from this, it is 200hp to whittle down, so get cracking with the most crushing blows you can! *NOTE: NOW THE ARENA WILL BE FREE TO LEAVE, BUT IF YOU DO THEN YOU WILL HAVE WASTED YOUR TIME. YOU CAN ENTOMB THE FRST MURDERER NOW IF YOU WISH, CREATING ONE FINAL FORM* Form 3: Sevath Savin Elric (Level 100) Ooh boy, 3 fighters of Level 100 v 1 you. You can leave an challenge these later if you wish, but then you wouldn't get a full prize would you? Sevath is still the headstrong Greatsword (Dragon) user, and has a Bounty on his head first - Bounty? Doesn't this mean that you become a Rogue if you kill one of the others first? Infact, you may find that there are multiple people in this Multi Combat room at once infact. Sevath will have the biggest hit - a 30 on f2p - and hits more often as his health goes down. If you kill him with a Greatsword you may now poison or Grip it (this either poisons or increases Accuracy/Speed of attacks) Elric is next, and has his Magic blade to aid him. HE is a Warrior Monk, using Magical and Clerical properties to aid his allies. Eternal Champion slaying anyone? If you are a member or on a member server you may claim the Champion's Challenge scroll for the King of Spirits by killing this foe off by the way (more on this later) Savin is a ranger with a Dark Bow, and acts like a Third age ranger. Nuff aid, i'm tired now! [/hide] More Rogues: [hide] simple, there should be a chance that if there are no people nearby who can (or have been set) to kill you, you should be given a 'Rogue Trader' random in the volcano. While you are being attacked by it, you cannot be attacked by players. Your Rogue Trader will have 3 Stars of rating, and will drop half of the food your use to kill it afterward. It will a range of levels equal to the maximum allowed level you can attack (if you were in Low LEvel, 40 levels above or below you for example) Rating shall be explained later too [/hide] More Rewards: [hide] In order to start the More Rewards section, a few things need to be changed or referenced: 1) People you kill now leave tokens. If you die, you will have your bank gain half of the tokens you would have gained if you stayed alive. You get a token for each Level of Rating your target has (the coins by the skull) 2) There will be a higher floor where the Open Level is sited, and there you can battle whoever you want REGARDLESS of level difference (and I mean OUTSIDE the crater, dude) in one room 3) on this higher floor, you will find another room which has a Trophy Seller. Here you can buy the Trophies/Rewards shown here The following rewards can be purchased: a) Pelts - these are worn as cloaks, and will give you a bonus corresponding to the type it is. Lion is weapon strength, Rock(w) is Armour Defense, Feather is Ranged Attack and defence, while Dragon is Mage B) Emotes - the Barbarian speech emote lasts 30 seconds, but means that you will YELL ALL YOUR WORDS LIKE A BARBARIAN!!! The Dashing Emote will make you jump and crack your sword into the ground, while the Mind emote will make you hold your hand out and release some sort of energy wave that makes the world shimmer around you. c) Greatswords - These are larger two handed swords that have the same stats as two handers but also have a different look and a special attack on member worlds (Crush - 90% - you deal a 250% damage attack at slower speed) d) Bounty Hunter Set - This set is a ornamental suit that makes you look like Indiana Jones or another treasure hunter. e) Spells - Teleblock returns as a Level 86 spell, Level 70 Traitor Teleport sends you to just near the staircase you climb to Bounty Hunter, and Icelandic Teleport is a Level 60 spell that sends you to where the Icy wildy area is (oh, and snow will fal lthere all year so that you can use it as a Snowball Fight area) Costs? Pelts = 40 Tokens each Emotes: Barbarian = 30, Dashing = 35. Mind = 20 Greatswords: Bronze = 5, Iron = 15, Steel = 25, Mithril = 40, Adamant = 50, Rune = 100, Dragon (soon) = 500!!!, Traitor (a Third age equivilant - not decided yet) = 2000 Bounty Hunter (Full) = 75 Spells: Teleblock = 200, Traitor Teleport = 200, Icelandic Teleport = 200 [/hide]

To put it simply, I believe that there should be more stuff available around the Grand Exchange - it is Grand afterall! There should be more links from it to other areas around Runescape available to members with a certain quest completed. infact... [hide] --Summary of Points-- 1: Varrock Armor Level 3 upgrade: Access to the Underground Railroad, to places such as Keldagrim, Falador, Rellekka, Uzer (where the golem is, I think?) and others 2: Varrock Armor Level 3 upgrade: 5% higher threshold of prices (i.e, an item would usually have a 10-to-20 gp threshold, so this would become 9-to-21gp due to 5% of 20 being 1) 3: Access to Bessen Bursen's Big Currency Engine: This allows you to convert Gp to Tokkul. You must, however, finish a quest for the TzHaar people in order to gain a steady flow of Tokkul to begin with! More Sets: Perhaps a 3 item set system could be created, allowing you to sell 3 things at once! 4: Auction Option: Are you willing to accept higher or lower values than your initial asking price may say? If so, how much a difference? This is F2P as well! 5: Falador Branch: This is F2P too. You may put items up for sale in the Falador Banks, but may only cancel them at the main Exchange. You will of course also be given 2 confirmation screens in case you misclick [/hide] How, exactly? Well, as most decent things are unlocked with quests I feel it should be the case here also, so here is one I call 'Brothers Bursen: When Business Calls' [hide] Brothers Bursen, When Business Calls (Medium Sized quest, medium difficulty) Intro: It is quite usual for friends and family members to argue or fight these days - with all the things there is to argue about - and this family is no exception. Well, actually, for a long time this wasn't the case, until a Bursen Brand Cannonball destroyed Brugsen Bursen's Brilliant Building Bazaar! What mischief is this? Start: Talk to Brugsen Bursen at the Grand Exchange. You must have completed the tutorial and have sold 5 items to do so, or else he will think that you will not understand the situation he is in. In addition, you must have Level 1 Varrock Armour on you at that point 1. Brugsen will tell you the story of what happened and give you his Business Card. Keep hold of this and pay attention, for you will be told to find out what happened - who destroyed his Bazaar? Brugsen's story will say some details that point to one of 3 locations, so dependant on what is said, do Steps 2, 3, and 4 accordingly 2. If Brugsen told you that there was a cannonball flying from the north, from a place he calls 'Those Danged Badlands' then you will have the most annoying route: into the Bandit Camp. The fortunate thing is that a wall leading into the Grand Exchange had been knocked down by a boulder itself. Go through here and then to the Camp. You will find that there are not cannons or anythings, but there IS a giant bug which is sparkling. A cutscene will follow where you see some Revenants come up and be absorbed into the bug, and you gasp. The bug attacks and is level 60. When you defeat it, you gain an Ornate Object. 3: If Brugsen says that there was a bolt from the East you will find that the Barbarians could have done it - go to the halls of Gunther the Brave and you will see a scene of Gunther being killed by a Sparkling (like the bug) Shade. It will fall underground, so you will have to go outside and dig underground. The battle is much like against the Mole in Falador, but the Shade is level 35. When you defeat it using Strike Attacks, you will get an Obscured Shroud 4: If Brugsen says that there is magical energies coming from the South East, you will know immediately what has happened. You will be given a cut scene at the Stone Circle of a Arzinian being summoned there with great amounts of Mithril. You go there and find a warp rift there. When you enter it, you will find a hot portal like thing, and blue or black walls. Like in Between a Rock, you must mine this but unlike then, you must throw the ores into the portal. Eventually, a hand of fire will grasp you and pull you in. Fight the Level 50-150 Arzinian Avatar of Arcana and hen you defeat it, you will get a Forgotten Keyshard 5: Return to Brugsen and he will ask you where those items you gained (from the previous 3 steps) were found, and he will take them from you, and fit them back together in a strange way that you would never understand. Now he asks you to go to a Relic of Aqua Magic to throw the object into the surrounding sea. This means the Water Obelisk 6: When you throw it in, you will be thrown into the sea by tremors. Eventually you will find youself in Keldagrim, near a smashed.........Fountain? A Dwarf will come up and mutter about 'not you again' and stuff. Now you will be given the object Brugsen fixed and told to leave magic to those Chaos Things down in the tunnels. He then walks away and beckons to you. 7: You will be told to come, but to where? How about a dark cave with a warning sign. You will be pushed in, and told to redeem yourself, and to a dwarf this means pushing a cart train all the way up to Varrock - but for what reason? Eventually the cart will make it to the Grand Exchange, and Bursen will tell you to push it back...to Falador 8: You will repeat half of the pushing, and take a turn right this time so that you end up in a new building (added in the update) which is known as the 'Society of Merchants'. This building is run by an older looking Brugsen Bursen named Felix Bergstrom. He will ask you why his Seecurity identify you as a Grand Exchange user, and after you mutter something, ask you to take a similar object to the object Bursen back to him 9: Bursen asks why you are back and gaps when suddenly 2 things come out of your inventory and form together - and the quest finishes REWARDS: 5QP, 50K, use of all of the upgrades said in the summary, 4 additional grand exchange spaces based in Falador! to be continued [/hide]

BUMP hear this idea out! -
We already have Split Private chat, so why not the option of other ones? Excluding the Assist Area, we should be able to use the existing system for different areas Only 1 type could perhaps be active at once (or else the screen would be over clogged) and also a right click option called 'turn into above' (or something on those lines) could be added in order to speed up the switching progress Good or Bad idea?

I only have one problem with it: You can be tricked into wasting your time and not getting any experience in return. Like if someone borrows your skills and gain more willows per cut, but you find that they had 30 woodcutting anyway (obviously you get no exp then) Without this flaw i'd be happy sith it...

It's a simple thing First of all the Assist Area should have recent things the person you are assisting/you have said so that you have a greater understanding of why you are helping them. Also, you should be able to see the various skill levels that the assistant/assister has (so that you don't fall into the trap of helping someone who can already do the things they 'need' your assistance for) Finally, you should gain experience regardless of whether the person you are assisting can currently do that thing or not - this means that you will not even have that current situation I said above ('so that you don't fall into the trap of helping someone who can already do the things they 'need' your assistance for') It's a simple idea, one that Jagex should be able to do easily - supports or criticism please?

Tip.it Times Presents: The absence (or surplus?) of Time.
dv_trainer replied to MPM's topic in General Discussion
first, lol Well, its another good article from the editor at the very least, and it covers exactly what I was just thinking. I've just posted this to kill time myself, and many of the things I do is because of time in hand. Well, there's nothing else I can really say tbh -
Before I start, this is a good idea in the first place. Just two things: 1) A quest is in order: Something like the Varrock Apothecary (spelled right or wrong?) requires some sort of potion, and normally gains it from the druidic peoples of the south, but unfortunately recent problems have stopped this from happening. You have to go to Sophanem and then Elid to gain insight into how to make these brews and later the needles to inject them with 2) This could also be an addon to Ranged - You attach the needle to an arrow/dart/bolt and then inject the victim with a poison or something, dealing the effects. Obviously they would lose their effects afterwards (functioning as normal bolts/arrows etc) but it would be easier and require less new planning work tbh 3) Smithing Skill involved? I'd say to avoid incidents it involves Crafting, Smelting and Construction to make the ejector (needle and stuff) Still, good idea. I support

Probably just a bad piece of coding, or part of a quest for fairies

Almost Page 200 too =) -
Changed it to all un-noted versions of the Bone. Also, he'll be one of those Waits to talk to you guys so that you have oppurtunity to drop some of the bones at least
-
Simple, combine the Mysterious Box and PIN Actions Revolving Cube with 9 Numbers (unfortunately 10 is too complicated unless the shapes are changed) Then include a you need to enter 4 numbers before you know if you fail or succeed to take up more time tbh

This idea is simply just a few new randoms for the other things you do around runescape, i.e: Crafting, Cooking, Combat (note: activates only after you retreat or finish a combat), and others OR: This stands for Other Randoms. For example, the Sandwich Lady's ORIGINAL Random is an example of this Mi: Mining Randoms Cr: Crafting Co: Cooking Fi: Fishing XX: Combat Pr: Prayer Fr: Firemaking Fl: Fletching Co1: Sandwich Store Description: After seeing you cook that odd lobster or two the Sandwich Lady has decided that you could quite adequetly fill her spare chef position (the guy was stupid enough to ignore her =/) What: Using the kitchen ingredients you must successfully bake the type of sandwich she wants. Don't worry, it will only require 1-20 Cooking (the better you are, the harder!) Reward: Magic Baguette (When eaten it gives you a cooked item for each 3 burned items in your inventory) and Normal Experience for a piece of bread Co2: OR1: Small Illness Description: Oh no! Walking around in that mud without much protection has landed you the common 'Randomus Plaguous'. Now you have to go to the hospital to heal up or else you may not last the hour! What: You get transported to Dr Ford's new hospital and have to give up 10% Energy to start with. Then Dr Ford comes to ask you whether you feel better, but eventually he checks up in his own way with a finger puzzle with flashing colors too. Reward: Special Pizza (+15% Energy and 3HP. 2 bites) Pr1: Rag and Bone Man Description: What a wierd bone, it should be put up in Varrock Mu...Poof! What: The guy with the Bonesack from the Rag and Bone Man quest comes over and offers to trade the remaining UN-NOTED bones in your inventory for something. If you refuse you are teleported to the Wilderness Boneyard (THERE IS A WARNING) Reward: You lose all remaining UN-NOTED bones of the type you just buried but gain a certain item for each More to be added, or make your own suggestions. Remember this is sorta more a fun thing anyway so it probably wouldn't be included anyway
