I would have thought, for 75% of Special Bar, the ability would be something like this: Rend The opponent cannot heal damage for (damage divided by 4) rounds of combat/3 minutes if outside of combat. This includes items that have the chance of healing damage (even if they don't always) and special attacks which cause the opponent to heal damage Minimum Damage: 6

Foozle is in a chamber somewhere in Runescape. You speak to him there to be challenged by him, and then return to the guild Its really just a secret miniquest

Quest: The Great Lock (couldn't think of a decent name) Start Point: Lumbridge Guide Requirements: At least Level 25 in as many skills as possible Part 1: a) Start by speaking to the Guide. He will tell you about all the things Runescape and Lumbridge has to offer, and you will stop him mid sentence by saying 'thats good and all, but what about for the experienced'. He will exclaim 'Excuse Me?' and you will repeat what you just said. This will cause him to shake his head, and hand you a piece of paper. It shows a building location in Lumbridge Swamps B) The building is in a new dungeon in the swamps. It is protected by traps and obstacles which require level 5 to complete. These are shown below: (to be completed on Sunday)

Quest Points used to decide trading gap??
dv_trainer replied to sibmaster's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
1) Have your total level. Times this by 100 2) Next, take your Quest Points and compare to the maximum quest points in the game - change this into a percentage. The percentage of Part 1 this forms is your trade limit according to Part 2 (100 total level with 15% of the total runescape quest points means so far, 1500gp is your trade limit) 3) Next, take your playing time. Note this is only whole days you have played, rounded (a person could have made an account 5 years ago and yet only have played 5 hours) and record this as 3A. Then have the amount of time your account has existed (in previous example, 5 years. Only this is expressed in days?) and record this as 3B. Divide 3A by 3B, turn this into a percentage, and then do the same as you did in part 2 4) Add other factors. You will always add 3k to your trade limit (so that even the person who hates quests can have a 3k trade limit). If you have a quest cape, you add an additional 15k. Then, if you are a member and are on a members world, you add 5k Maximums (11th June) Quest Points: 262 Total Level: 2376 Total Playing Time (if you could play during downtime)/Total Account Life: (since 4th January 2001) 2722 This means your maximum trade limit in this system is 239900k EACH 15 MINUTES* if you were a no lifer who plays constantly from when they were created * = you're unlikely to have someone with this, due to downtime and the fact no-one can play runescape constantly for 2722 days -
I thought about being able to put trophies into your Skill/Quest Room in your house. Or even just heads on sticks

Quest Points used to decide trading gap??
dv_trainer replied to sibmaster's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
bearing in mind that the only social thing I do in RS is my clan and Fist of Guthix, I don't care -
Have: 1 Free for All Crater 2 3-60 Crater 2 55-100 Crater 2 90-140 Crater (each of the craters with 2 has a rogue one and a normal one) You can attack/be attacked by: 1 who is not your target 1 who is your target X who have you as a target (as in, many can have you as a target)

Don't make skillcapes sellable to F2P. Thats obvious. Just allow people to use skillcapes in F2P - but if used in Bounty Hunter the cape is sent to the bank (if there is the unlikely occaison of no bank space, the cape is sent to the grand exchange and instead takes up one of your sell slots eventhough it cannot be sold. If no grand exchange slots are available, it is placed into your inventory

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
dv_trainer replied to Prankster_King's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
We need bank space still tbh And you know what? If F2P get more bank space, then P2P will probably get 5x more bank space (in that update). And thats in addition to the Bank Space the F2P get -
Quest Points used to decide trading gap??
dv_trainer replied to sibmaster's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
actually, it would probably become my paradise. think - no more congestion where I cut my willows. More spots per player for training (imagine it, 100 players over perhaps 5 servers, able to become a close knit community) people would sell accounts of course as well, probably. this would mean I could get a high level and suddenly do everything I want. I could get another computer, and give loads of stuff to my other account! hallelujah However, RS would probably become P2P only =( -
good point. however, though an autoer can stay on for long periods of time, can they do a large amount of quests? Because playtime is only part 3 of the equation so obviously they need good numbers for Parts 1 and 2 to do decent at it I admit that Part 4 is unfair - seeing as for only £3.20 under this system they can increase profits a vast amount - but this bit is only to keep P2P and people who have just started (this is really no quest point folk) happy. I would remove it personnally

Cave Goblin Side Quests ~Developing/Unfinished~
dv_trainer replied to guardianboy2's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
They're gnomes from the wonderful town of Under. It exists purely in zombie brains. Did I mention they're gnomes? Seriously, from what i've read (all except items) its decent. You just need to make it more difficult than 'the gnomes are fighting them off. the dwarves are just arriving in time with their boom boom cars. the gnomes are making an announcement. you are a hero to the dorgeshunn' You're really devaluing the term 'Hero', and what sort of villain calls themselves Peter - especially a Peter who overthrows Big Bad Sigismund... -
Quest Points used to decide trading gap??
dv_trainer replied to sibmaster's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Like my topic Oh, and I support this -
you'll find that mine is a helluva lot different, actually. Instead of just using Total Level (your system) or Quest Points (current system/old system I made) it combines both AND adds playing time to the equation. Bear then in mind that many others have tried to improve the trade limit before both of us - though I easily thought of posting about it before you on the old boards anyway - therefore, I could post the same about your thread.
-
Quest points alone shouldn't decide your trade limit. Therefore, I have this system. It has 4 steps 1) Have your total level. Then, if you are a member and are on a members world, you add 5k Maximums (11th June) Quest Points: 262 Total Level: 2376 Total Playing Time (if you could play during downtime)/Total Account Life: (since 4th January 2001) 2722 This means your maximum trade limit in this system is 239900k EACH 15 MINUTES* * = you're unlikely to have someone with this, due to downtime and the fact no-one can play runescape constantly for 2722 days Comments? (incase anyone is wondering, i'm not doing a supporters list)

~~Newer Bank Of Runescape~~ **Updated again 05/15/09**
dv_trainer replied to Thagern's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I think that this is actually a previous version of the bank as well ah well, heres what it should say (probably) RED- The red outlined area are the bank slots. There are 14 bank slots, and each can hold as many items as needed (up to the maximum allowed in the bank). - To change the picture on the slot, all you have to do is right click on the slot, and choose the [change image icon] option; a list will become visible in the chat box, and choose the desired image. - Items are not automatically sorted, so a small amount of sorting will have to be done. - There is NO SEARCH option in my bank as I find it would just make everything more time consuming. Having to search for individual items would take up more time than needed. PINK- The pink area is a tally of the amount of space left in your bank. BLUE- The blue area is where the items of a particular slot are shown, as you change slots, the items in the viewing area change accordingly. GREEN- The green area is the usual withdraw as item/note options. YELLOW- The yellow area is the usual insert/swap options. PURPLE- The purple area is the lock/unlock options. These features are very useful in keeping your bank sorted. - To lock an item, click on the [lock icon here] button, and simply click on the items you want to lock. The same applies to unlocking. - When an item is locked, a padlock is shown in the bottom right of the picture. - The purpose of locked items are so when an item is withdrawn to have a count of zero, the item is removed from its position in the slot. Think of it as a placeholder. - When an item has a count of zero, no more of the items can be withdrawn, they can only be moved around in the bank, and unlocked - If an item is unlocked with a count of zero, the placeholder is removed from the bank. AQUA- The aqua area is the bin, by highlighting the bin, you can click on any item you wish to drop onto the floor. - You can use the bin as described above, or items can be dragged onto the bin tile, and will be dropped that way. - A confirmation screen will be shown for the first item dropped per bank session. -
Rnescape needs a new boss. Thats actually HARD!
dv_trainer replied to Soupy17's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I really feel the lair (Part 3) should be before Part 2. It makes it harder to just barely survive the pathway and then find that the eye is staring right at you Infact, the eye should be the symbol of guthix, with a great indent. People can look into the indent to see some sort of awesome cutscene, of the Titan razing villages of Saradomin and Zamorak at the same time. Just to warn them that this isn't a random favored demon of Zamorak - this kills things not for fun but for purpose To balance out the fact that you will outnumber the Titan by like 25 times, how about a team of 3 LESSER Guthix followers, a bit like God Wars dungeon? Each would be as strong has one of the God War Dungeon's mini-bosses. As in, level 200s? Each of these would have to be defeated BEFORE the titan comes out, so that you don't get massacred Oh, and to think about rewards: The Titan has a drop-worth. This is about 1 million at the start, but decreases for each round of combat you need to kill it by about 100? That means 10000 rounds of combat to fully deplete the drop-worth to just the lesser items You would think that would mean 10000 items you can get, but no. Instead, for each digit left, you get an item. This means: If at the 100000s, there is 6 items and an 'Eye of the Titan' (this could be used on potions?). If in the 10000s, there is 5 items and an 'Eye of the Titan'. And so on. 0 means that you only get an Eye. Other drops: EVERY Fist of Guthix reward Staff of Balance (select 3 types of runes. until the charges are fully depleted, you don't need these runes to cast spells) Guthix Godsword (the Titan gives one piece to each member of the team who defeats it, unless the drop-worth is 0) Dragon Pickaxe (makes sense) Dragon Platebody (again, makes sense) Dragon Plates (these can be attached to armour to make it even more durable at level 100 smithing) Enchanted Stones (1-5) (these can be attached to any skill item or used on a furnace. It gives 10% bonuses to each part - 10% less chance of crop failure, 10% accuracy, 25% less chance of iron failing to smelt, 10% more defence against crush stab and slash etc etc etc etc) -

We can get rid of randoms now! Heres how
dv_trainer replied to spooferfish's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I know! 1 quest to rule them all! 'One Small Dream' The order you defeat Randoms: Rock Golem, Troll, Tree Spirit (you have to complete quest within 1 week, or else you return to this stage) Molly, Evil Bob, Drill Demon, Pious Pete, Bee Keeper, Swarm Frogs AND SO ON (Basically, you banish loads of randoms to Evil Bob, and then kill Bob after getting some reverse fire - instead of extingushing it burns coldly, but forever - which means that Pious Pete never blows out his candles, and the Bee Keeper burns his Bees =))
