Rented Batman Arkham Asylum. I don't get what all the praise is for. It was ok, and really cool at some points, but alot of the time I just wanted to get through the level, rather than linger around and savor it.

I'm not joking when I say it infuriates me to no end that it's not possible to set a person on fire over the internet. Just played a game on 2fort against and ENTIRE TEAM of speedhackers. They must have really sucked, they just barely won.

I had intended to make it dark enough to have Gman, Heavy, and Weighted Companion Cube eating the Portal cake in the background, but it came out too bright, and I didn't have enough time to fix it.The bodies in the background are also too tough to see, a little annoying, but not something that could be fixed without a delay. I wouldn't say people "love" Canada, and they're a better country than US. It's just that they don't get involved on the level we do. Not that that's always bad thing, Canada has kept itself in good shape that way. And the point isn't that the protesters are wrong, it's that they shouldn't have been able to get that far! If they could do it, someone with worse intent just as easily could have. P.S. Are NATO countries obligated to help each other out against terrorism, or is it just to defend against other countries?

You'll have to decide if this is awesome or not. I was given the homework assignment of drawing the tomb from Romeo and Juliet, and in it, a what-if scene of Juliet waking up to find Romeo didn't show up. Rather than draw it, (we can illustrate it however we want), I've recreated the tomb in Source SDK, and once I get the lighting perfect I'll be setting up the scene by posing ragdolls in Garry's Mod. I'll be handing in a screenshot.

If you're going to justify this with logic based on perspective, then you might as well say what Hitler did was fine because in his mind it was the logical thing to do. His 14 years in prison will make him realize that what he did was wrong; whether it was selfish or not doesn't matter. He probably killed his own wife, and that's the only part that matters. For christ's sake, she's not trying to justify it, she's just pointing out that we're viewing it with logical afterthought. Has everything you've ever done in life been something that you're able to look back on and say "that was a good idea."? I guarantee the answer is no.

I think this belongs in the game recommendation thread, but in the meantime, I really don't think there's a whole lot you can do for free. Like Doom said, try modding a game you already have. Or do you have any Source games? This idea will require you to spend about $10, but I think it's well worth it for all the content you could ever need. http://www.garrysmod.com/news/

The only thing I think L4D2 has worse than the first is the absence of an achievement for killing thousands of zombies. It was really cool, because you could always watch your progress after every game.

Getting a program to make games for handhelds would probably cost a good bit of money, and you'd need to learn a coding language and get some other people to work on it as well. A how-to video on Youtube and a free program isn't going to get a game made.
