  1. Hey Reivax :) I will look into this, but I believe a scams page is not allowed because, while it helps users know about what to avoid, it also gives ideas to scammers. Regarding information on how to report bots, our rules section includes a picture of the report interface, showing that you can report a suspected botter for "macroing or use of bots." Sending in a report to Jagex will send them a snapshot of events and they will investigate. As obvious as they can be, you can't 100% for sure identify a bot, and Jagex understands this when looking at your reports. Nevertheless, I do think this section could be expanded in our guide and I'll let you know when that's completed!
  2. It's useful in some PvP mini games for absorbing Ice Barrage, as a flag runner in castle wars or something similar. Apart from that most people use it for skill spells.
  3. As I said earlier, they might just be rebalancing combat level calculation without adding any skills or increasing caps. But something new would be cool, it's a possibility I suppose :)
  4. Welcome to TIF! Boss hunting rocks :shades:
  5. I hope not 120 honestly...Maybe they are bumping the max level to an even 100? Or maybe they are considering Slayer as a combat skill? They might just be rebalancing combat level calculation without adding any skills or increasing level caps, although something new would be cool.
  6. Hey Iluvhim43v3r, That picture seems to be stretched. Could you post a general screenshot with the item in your inventory? Thanks very much for this information! :)
  7. Thanks Kaida :D

  8. The Crew Wants You! - CLOSED This recruitment drive will run until June 29th, 2012, midnight GMT. Tip.It's Website Crew is currently looking for enthusiastic members to join the team! The Crew is a team of volunteers dedicated to the upkeep of the main help-site. If you've ever had an interest in being a part of it all, or think you have any skills that could make the site even better, you're looking in the right place! The Crew has many available positions each requiring very different skills and interests, there's something for everyone. Before applying, you should know a little bit about how the Crew works. It is important to not glamour a position up, as one may find the Crew was not how they expected it would be when they applied. First off, Tip.It is non-profit organization - All staff positions here are entirely voluntary. Those putting their time into the site are working purely for the bettering of Tip.It. If accepted, you will be required to make somewhat of a commitment to put enough time into your position and in-game research whenever necessary. Crew Training and Crew Work requires time to accomplish and without this commitment, you will not be able to meet deadlines and work as a team. Secondly, although web design, coding or mapping skills are an asset, lacking them will not stop us from welcoming you aboard. We can teach you what you need to know, so our only request is you have a willing attitude to learn whatever interests you and time to spend on the site. The Crew is very close with the rest of the Staff, and as a Crewbie you will have the opportunity to meet and work with all existing staff to help better the site. Overall, the Crew is a fantastic social and learning experience, and definitely a worthy investment of time. Positions These are the various positions waiting to be filled within the Crew and the skills involved. Note that as a Crewbie, while your position will determine the focus of your work, you will always have the chance to branch out into other areas whenever you want. Still interested? Excellent! To apply, you will need to fill out the following application and PM it to Staff_Applications. Please make Crew Application: <your name here> the PM subject. Remember: PM your application to Staff_Applications - do not post it on this topic! Put Crew Application: <your name here> as the Subject Remember, this application is one of the main things you will be evaluated on! Please take your time to make a good impression IMPORTANT: Read every question and answer every question to the best of your ability Crew applications will run for three weeks and end at midnight GMT on June 29th, 2012. We consider applications very carefully, and even if you are declined, we may still contact you at a later date asking if you still want to join the crew. We are looking forward to reading your applications! :) If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or post on this topic. Do not post your application here. 9. No problem, hope you enjoy your time here at Tip.It! :)
  10. Here's the link to them :) [monster=421]
  11. This is the dungeon location ("!" to the east of the picture), in the Fremennik Province, north of Seer's Village And, welcome to Tip.It! :)
  12. This is so refreshing. Really glad that this sort of community exists, it's a huge change from "wher is flag"
  13. Wow, quite an awesome week for you! Congrats! Been lurking your blog for awhile, it's inspiring
  14. Great script, nicely done  If you select the "Click-to-Show" option, it will show the hidden sticky again, but as far as I can tell you can't "Click-to-Hide-Again." It also still considers the shown hidden stickies hidden, so you can't remove them once more until you unhide and go through the process again.
  15. Honestly, I don't like it, but I won't really ever quit because of an update like that. I'll only quit if I get bored of the game, but I haven't yet :P
  16. Ah, but we love that! We greatly appreciate people taking the time to point out these things and make suggestions. I've added references to the Runespan on both the Runecrafting guide and the guild page, and credited you. Once again, thank you so much! :D
  17. Drop rates are fine, I can't tell you how many days of playing I've spent in that battlefield with no drops.
  18. Indeed, many new feature suggestions are being added to the list for the new website, since it would be wasted effort to code them for the current site. Once again Reivax, a good suggestion. I'll forward this to the tech team, and see if we can make a nicer one :P
  19. Edited the guide with this information, and added your name to the credits. Thanks so much Reivaxlorp! :)
  20. Hey, no problem! We love getting suggestions, especially great ones :) Anyways, we will be implementing this once the new website goes live since it will have to be recoded for that no matter what. Thanks again for posting this!
  21. Hey Sonic, welcome to Tip.It! :) We actually have a forum for role-players, the Falador Tavern! Hope you enjoy your time here, TIF is awesome.
