I usually get 40k/chest in runes/racks. My past 55 chests have been empty however. My slowpoke method of barrowing gets me about 4-5 chests/hour, which is 160-200k with no armour.

Another way of getting to the course would be using the ancient teleport system until you get to level 45 then go through the gate near the Ice Giants.

You could try making cannonballs.Yes, it is somewhat slow but you make money and you don't have to fully focus on the computer screen.You could make iron nails and sell them at the sawmill( I believe you break even).

You could pray flick melee so you don't get hit at all? Right click the prayer simbol at the top of the screen->"Choose prayers"->from the menu, choose protect melee then comfirm. This way you will have protect from melee at a single click away,without having to switch everytime to the prayer table. You click on the prayer simbol just before the attack animation from the monster begins,then after you see the "0" on you, you simply turn it off.
