Actually, I bet it easily breaks 15m. It takes ~45 hours to get an onxy gem. Far longer without good stats. Not to mention the HIGH demand.

Hi I killed 100 waterfiends with whip in an hour while I kill around 110-115 with Z spear/Saradomin Sword per hour. Don't assume you can't kill it effectively at all without a crush weapon when you probably haven't gone out and tried it yourself. EDIT: This is at max stats with a Unicorn and on a slayer task You are full of it lol. Even with max stats, x pots, etc etc, and turmoil/piety, I max out at ~110-120 crims/hr with ZS. There is NO WAY you get 100 kills with a whip ^.^ And Paw, you are full of it too. The difference between attack, defense, and controlled is VERY VERY small.

Really, don't bother. The only other decent option I know of for melee is Ancient staff+defender. But with your low stats, and since you won't use good weapons, skip.

Yup. That is why their fiat value is limited more so then mint cakes. At most one would probably gain a street value of 50-100k over for the lower ones, and maybe 500k for an ancient/seren. On the other hand, many PvP'ers aren't merchents, most I would dare say. They would still be cashing in their stats. People who played gnome minigame did so to get mint cakes, really. Or else scarves.

Half wines are in the same boat as crackers. There are too few in the game (at least in the open market) to be able to nail down a definite street price. I have seen offers range from 1B all the way to 3B. Also in regards to the PVP statute question. They have the exact same value on the street as in trade and trading to the NPC on PVP or BH worlds. Why would they have high street value when they are not rare, and have a definite, fixed price ingame? Why would I pay 1.1M for something that will NEVER rise over 1M? A 1M statute has the exact same value as 1M GP on the street. Because some of them are more rare then others. That makes them a perfect candidate for use as a fiat currency.

Considering that the Fury has no other use than for combat then I think it's acceptable that combat and combat only should be used to get an onyx gem. So the you can buy a fury directly from the store? Nope you have to buy the uncut onyx. First this needs to be cut using crafting, then mounted on a amulet (using a gold bar which requires both mining and smithing) again using crafting then using more crafting (or possibly non-combat magic) add the string. Once you have your onyx amulet you then need to enchant it which uses non-combat magic. mmm once you get the tokkul looks like actually making the fury doesn't require a single bit of combat at all. See my point? We already have mining areas down there. Say you had to complete TokTz-Ket-Dill and a sequel or miniquest to gain the ability to use the stone slabs (or similar) on a machine then use the result on the obby forge with a special mould. Even if its something like 10k tokkul per full trip the trip would easily be longer then a maxed combat player killing them You obviously took what he said outa context. He meant the only USE for a fury, outside of looks or merchting, is for combat.

That would actually make sense, since prayers give a boost based upon your levels, whilst curses give a boost based upon the other persons levels.

Not going to happen. Jagex said this skill will be unlike things other games have. Quite a few have some method of shape shifting.

From RS history, it is actually quite strange that curses are melee based. They should be magic based, since zaros=ancient magiks.

DFS is terrible for slayer. Rune defender always. TBH, you don't sound like you know what you want. Find out first, then buy the gear for that.

Really, here is another angle for you. Try bring vengance. I don't need the space, and if you end up getting hit something like a 68 or w/e, that hurts but doesn't kill, Jad takes a good bit of damage. Might be worth a try, if it doesn't distract you too much.

Onxy (i) has great defense, and is good for all combat styles. Sure, i'd use archer (i) for ranging, and berserker (i) for most slayer, but I'd use onxy (i) for GWD, DKS, etc. Glad I got my Fury when it was 2m or something. Good read. IMO, if you kill jad on task, you should get more tokkul. Maybe around 50k-100k. That would make fight caves a viable way to get tokkul.
