If I can't play RS on it, then I don't need one. Im happy with my Ipod touch. Anytime I really need internet, I can get Wi-Fi, and the 3g wouldn't be too helpful except for RS+forums. Sheep, you made me laugh.

When messing around with linux, I noticed a cool feature that let you switch around your desktop, and swap it for another. Basically, you have the same background and desktop icons, but you can have different folders/programs open, and can switch between the two. Sorry, I really don't know how to explain this better. Anyone know an app that can replicate this? So I just press shift-f5 or something and change windows between one and the other. Ok so I think I found out what I am looking for, as far as what its called. Anyone got an app of this, or direct me to one?

A TON of people make brews. They are incredibly fast xp. The things is, the demand is HUGE now, and merchants are taking advantage of the situation.

It's like people that wear barrows 1v1 against someone who wears rune, if the person welfaring can't handle that than they need to stop pking. DivineProd had a much better chance than the guy in rune, divine is already protect from melee, plus the defence from bandos and he was 120 def from being brewed. And the person in rune wasn't "welfaring", if you look around PvP worlds thats what most everybody wears, he was in a non +1 world also, so he had more risk than usual pkers do. A usual pker has Str ammy, climbers, rune, neit helm rune/barrows gloves and their weapon which is always kept in a +1 world, He was risking more than the average pker. Plus he was fighting a battle he had 0% chance to win and he got lucky. If he had a 0% chance to win, how could he win? Not to mention, protect from melee is 40% damage reduced, deflect melee is 60%, and divine is only 25%.

No. 1.) Magic attack really is negligable vs rex, as long as it isn't -65 or some obscene number. Really, that is why I use k top. Also, if you are any good at DKS, you won't get hit by rex. Not to mention since the OP will be praying mage anyway, he can just switch to melee pro for 5 seconds to finish the lure. In addition, he very rarly hits anyways. He is incredibly inaccurate. 2.) The loss of range def is major, since he will be praying mage. 3.) Obsidian shield is cheaper. However, whether or not this matters for the OP, I don't know. As you can see, with my setup, you have 103 mage defense and 291 ranged defense, which is a great combo. In addition, the loss of prayer bonus is completely negligible, since I don't pray at all. That is like saying losings summoning defense matters, when you aren't being attacked by familiars. If you are concerned about prayer bonus, you should try out the Fally 3 shield. The +7 prayer *might* be worth the lost range defense, if one is praying mage. I have not tested it, and do not intent to. And yes, the +13 range defense is FAR SUPERIOR to the mage offense gained, and the prayer bonus gained of the BSS. In fact, try out these two shields if you don't believe me: The arcane and the spectral. See if the +30 mage defense beats out the +20 mage offense. It does. Not to mention your above post about it having +2 mage defense is quite silly, since it doesn't matter. Since he will either be praying mage 100% or close thereto, or else trying to maximize this range/mage defense, then EITHER the prayer bonus OR the mage defense matters. Not both.

Not a chance. I doubt you could trio or quad decently with those levels. Not to mention getting a LS world will be impossible. Basically, get 90 flat melees and 70 prayer or you havn't a chance.

Use v skirt, not tassies for one. Bring EE /SGS if you can get them. Also, use broad bolts for all except the 360's and jad.

Change shield from Crystal to Blessed spiritshield Verac's brassard: It has great prayer bonus and decent defense, that's why players use it. Sorry, as a person who DKS mages A LOT I have to disagree with you. 1.) BSS is crap at dks. It has bad range defense. Honestly, use obsidian shield. 2.) If you are going to be verac maging, you will be praying mage pray quite a bit. So keep the v brasserie. Really, unless you have guthans and/or a unicorn, you probably want to be praying a bit. 3.) For your first few trips, try to welfare a bit, unless you have hybrids whom can bless. Drop the infinity boots and just use mystics, especially since you will be mage praying. This is my setup. I just have those 3 runes as placeholders to show you, I normally bring between 1.5k-2k casts of COG. I have another pony summoned, or else a T'bird, since I usually hybrid a bit when I first get in. I use Ktop to minimize mage damage. Using this gear, I almost never have to brew. The main reason I bring the brews/restores is to get into the lair, and either to do some solo hybriding, or else to help out my hybrid if he needs it. EDIT: Imageshack is effed up and not posting my invy picture. Your looks good, except for a few minor changes. Bring 4-6 brews, 3-4 anti ++, and the rest super restores. Pray mage whenever you need to, and let bunyip heal you up. You can turn off mage pray for a bit to save prayer, but remember, range spins drain your prayer. Also, duo maging is a good idea. You each take less damage from spins, since they are attacking 2 of you instead of just one,. Also, the other person can teach you how to lure.

You're kidding? Do you plan for him to tank Zilyana for 80% of the fight? Think about it. I did just fine at 70 agility, without sweets. 87 agility is perfectly fine, not to mention he has several super energy pots. Not to mention, you only need 2% run energy to get ahead of zil. She cant run. So no, think about it.

Prayer to 95 or 99. 99 is not *useless*, but it isn't that big an advantage over 95. Herblore to 92, so you can stew for overloads. Construction and Crafting to 80. Mage and range to 99, through barragaing/stringing ammy/other and chinning, respectively. Chin AFTER you train prayer, so you save on p pots.

I don't understand what you said. You are ranting because you had bad luck farming I said that there could be a faint chance that farming was updated, to improve the average yield, or so it seems from several people's unofficial testing. Im confused.

Not the wyverns, log out timer when in combat is 1 min. If you didnt know that, sorry. Dying does suck. But you lost what, 800k? You can make that in an hour by doing your dailies+herb run and MTK.

Really, I doubt you'd even really need t'bird with 87 agility. Main difference now is you can really only get 1 shot in per wall. Trying bring around ~30 purple sweets, but I really doubt you will have any need for them. Actually, since sweets cost so much, and super energy's got their boost to 40% run restored, use a yak, and just bring 2-3 super energy. I doubt you'd need them, but you at least have them, as well as 27 other spaces for food/p pots.
