Defender almost always wins for speed. BSS isn't as good for places where you take range damage, such as DKS, but it is good for other bosses. Don't use a DFS ranging/maging dragons; the Antidragon fire shield is better. DFS has negative range/mage bonus.

16 penguin points used on herblore at 85 herb=saves me ~800-900k GP. This saves an hour of time. 1 hour=1 mil. So really, this does save a good bit.

For starters, just use d'hide. I like karils because I can tank his mage attacks easier. Practice dying on purpose and getting back fast. It gets easier eventually.

There is a very specific time where if you turn on prayers after, you will be hit. You just turned on prayer too late each time.

Well, I hate getting to Jad, its so boring. As a result, i've only tried 3 times. Made it to him all three times. First 2 times I died, 3rd he glitched on me and kept on healing, even when all the healers were lured. Sooo, I want to rush Jad next time I have a tzhaar task. Basically, I'd be using karils+slayer helm+veng+x pots/overload,+turmoil and either Soul Split pr mage/range prayer. Is there any good way to do this? Or would I be better off just ranging him. Last time I had no trouble with prayer switches, he just wouldn't die. He kept on getting healed. Would it be better to just rush him AFTER I get him to 2/5 HP, right before healers come?

They didn't change the timing of prayers activating. You were just too slow.

You get like, 40 a task. So I doubt that would cause it.

Easily. I do a task of 200'ish nechs in an hour with turmoil. I use SW cape, V skirt, and Prossy top. Of course, profit is fairly varied at nechs. I get tasks where I get 200k, and others where I get 600k+. However, since I only use ~100k in prayer pots a task, and the time saved is great, its worth it.

Personally I cannon every task I can, turmoil all except for daggs and specters, wear either v top+skirt for tasks where I need more def (since I semi-afk, and don't want to die/have to use unicorn), v skirt+prossy top for most tasks, or prossy for tasks where I pray, or for things like abby demons. I always use defender over DFS, and use spec rest pots+sgs to save a bit on P pots. I normally use ~75-100k in p pots a task. Most tasks, including tasks in the 90's of iron and steel dragons, I can finish in an hour.

Well, it is working, however, it is broken in the sense that it isn't exactly functioning as it should. For example, the GE price should be the street price. However, since it isn't, junk trades are needed. Example, edibles. They are worth far more on the street then on the GE. Since fewer people sell on the GE as a result of the higher street price, fewer transactions are made of these items. As a result, the GE price rises or falls slowly, but the street price moves far quicker in most cases. Essentially, the GE can't keep up with the street value of items.

I just use verac helm+karils, snakeskin or dragon boots, broad bolts, and SW cape. SGS+claws for spec. I can get around ~20 kills an hour, maybe more.

Today I got my 400th task, and it was Tzhaar. So I switched to try and do a "jad" task, thinking get 270 points+a fire cape for the first time would be pretty hot. Having got to Jad twice before, and died, I was nervous. Once I was fighting jad, I was good. Until I noticed that even though I had all the healers lured, he was still healing. So eventually, as I couldn't kill him, he killed me. Next time I am going to use D claws+turmoil+x pots and just kick his arse really quick. Hell, I would fight a jad who ALWAYS 1 hit you if you messed up, and had 2-3x the HP, if he didn't take an hour to get to. Fight caves are so boring to get to jad, that having to practice on him until he stops glitching is really a PITA. As for requiring a fire cape to kill wyrms, it doesn't make sense, but it will have the benefit of having few people able to kill ISW, and so higher prices for when I do get fire cape and 93 slayer.

I would totally have to disagree. For years, we slayers have been BEGGING for monsters which could only be slayed on task. This is a god-sent. Not to mention, the staff is quite a common drop. I know several people who have gotten 2 a task. However, jagex will probably change the drop rate in a few weeks.

I think LEP's point was that it doesn't make sense (to him) that an object from a minigame should be needed to kill a slayer monster. Although Fire cape doesn't make sense if you are maging with fire spells, TBH. For me, TD's and prayer switching is easy. I've only tried fight caves twice, and died both times. Now I will go for a fire cape. The thing I don't like, although its a personal thing, is having to spend ~an hour to get to jad, and then mess up since I don't have enough practice. Next try I think I will test out veng+d claws+turmoil+x pots on him.

Not to hate on F2P, but I think part of the differentiation between F2P and P2P is that F2P doesn't have bosses.

If you die to dragon claws, you deserve it. It is incredibly easy to avoid being rushed. If they went to 55%, all their other uses, such as specing in slaying, and for bossing, would be ruined.

There is so little intelligent life on this planet, I'd be surprised if we found any on another.
