No. It will NOT be cheaper. You would have to spend something in the area of 7,000 hours in combat with bandos to save the money that repairing barrows would cost. Few reasons people use bandos: 1.) It has a strength bonus. The tassets are the only non degradable armor in the game with a strength bonus. 2.) It has a slight prayer bonus. 3.) It looks cool, at least to most people. 4.) Most higher level players don't really need all that much defense. So the difference between bandos and barrows is normally negligible. Likewise, the healing from guthans is not needed by most people using bandos. 5.) Bandos protection in GWD 6.) High range defense bonus. Personally, I don't mind selling my Bandos. I prefer Verac skirt+Prossy top for most slayer tasks, since I have a huge prayer bonus, and decent defense, and can turmoil.

Chaos runes are quite cheap ATM. I'd mage. Use the mage setups others have suggested, and chaos gauntlets.

Also, the obsidian shield has a far superior range defense. That is quite handy at places like DKS, etc.

If you have 70 summoning, the grown up zamorak hawk is better then zamorak vestment, at least IMO. You get +1 more prayer, and don't have to buy the vestment then. Only pick up Astrals, Nats, Pess, and D boots, and deaths/bloods when you have room. The time spent, prayer lost (unless you turn off between every kill) and low value makes the other runes not worth picking up. DO NOT use stole. The attack+str bonus lost, not to mention it has prayer itself, isn't worth it. AND DON"T KILL THE SARA MAGES. They are too slow.

Turmoil takes 1 combat round to activate. Thus, if rushing, you'd be better off maging/ranging 1 attack BEFORE rushing, to activate turmoil.

BTW: +4 stew boost is quite common. I'd try for that. I got a +4 herb boost 3 times in ~10 stews.

Actually, it seems that the drop rate is more like .9:1 Bars:kill ratio. For example, from personal experience, and pictures, it seems that ~2k KC = ~1800-1850 bars. So it is slightly under 1:1. Edit: Sorry, misread what the above poster said. He is right.

Have you done any testing on what the best herb is for gp/xp ratio? EG, lants may be less profit/seed then snaps, but if the xp gained is great enough, you are saving on tree seeds. Just something I was wondering.
