  1. About as impressive as setting a record for most consecutive days lying around high on the couch. Does Guinness have a category for that? ;) If I knew about it, it *would* be my business. You might be okay with a child remaining with an unfit parent, but I would not. (Of course you're probably not even an adult anyway, so I don't really expect you to understand.) Actually, I am. Yet still, why is it your business? My point isn't that said parent would or wouldn't be a fit parent, but rather that its none of your business. Too many people in the world are busybodies. Example, the parent works 3rd shift as a guard, and scapes a few hours of that time. He comes home, scapes for an hour, and goes to bed as his kid goes to school. Sleeps for a bit, and scapes some more. Really, there are many ways that one could get in 15 hours in 1 day easily. Remeber, we aren't talking about 15 hours consistently, every day either. Also, I am really loving the insults you seem to throw around. You are quite handy at throwing insults, but terrible at constructing a logical argument. I mean, you based your whole insult against me on the (incorrect) assumption about my age.
  2. I am seeing this completely wrong, I am sure. But I don't see the big thing around mint cakes. So basicly the Mint Cake is extreme rising junk? And therefor better then the rest of the junk? Expecting profit from holding on to mints? Isn't this exactly what has been done by manipulation clans? Isn't there a point in which these WILL drop. no wait, not drop. CRASH. With 25k, you won't lose out on much. If this trend continues (and most likely will) they will reach 100k? Perhaps 200k? What will be the point where people won't invest heavily in this? When is the point where some merchanter out there says, hey nice dump price? The only difference between this and manipulation clans is that this is done with a junk item and it is widely used. Your risk, not mine :) Look around the forum, and see what mint cakes REALLY are. You have it completely wrong. Essentially, since the GE can't, and doesn't update fast enough, or show the real (street) price of some items, other items which have a high appeal are used to balance out the trade. This could be something like buying d claws with rising items, when D claws have a GE value of 35m, but a street of 40m, or by offering 35m+2 mint cakes for the d claws. Since the mints only have a GE price of ~25k, but a street of 2.5m or so, they are used to balance out trades. They are, essentially, a fiat currency. Personally, I am using mint cakes for buying/selling power. It is easier to buy a rising item with a mint cake, or to sell a crashing one. Since I got mine free, I don't loss anything, as I don't have junk to sell.
  3. Queltar, if you knew a parent who played 15 hours a day, it really would be none of your damn business to call the authorities. I mean, the average person watches 6 hours of TV a DAY, and those are people who, for the most part, go to work/school/etc. And those people do it for far more then 5 years. Is it really all that hard to accept that ONE person played a few hours a day more then the average person watches TV, especially when that person has health issues? Geez, lay off people.
  4. Criticism=/= naming in a negative light. There has to be some disagreement. However, nothing hurtful is needed.
  5. Exactly. What Trixstar said makes absolutely no sense. There is no reason why in a role playing game, one item should not gain a different use then what it was created for.
  6. I had a very good friend with leukemia, who couldn't really get around because of it. She played quite a bit of RS as a result. When I am sick, I play RS quite a bit as well, since there isn't all that much to do. As well, with the economy not being all that great, many people are either jobless, or on reduced hours. There are a number of reasons why people spend a great amount of time scaping.
  7. Just remember, you will need over 600m for white party hat+99 prayer.
  8. There in lies the problem with the economy in this game. Items like a mint cake from a mini-game shouldn't be used as currency. Why?
  9. I know it isn't the most efficient, but: 1) I want the cape eventually 2) I find camping boring 3) Mix of tasks is nice 4) Total levels/xp 5) A mix of GP/Charms/Xp that I find more enjoyable then simply gaining each the fastest way individually.
  10. Depends. Prayer cape is hawt, but fire cape does help speed, ever so slightly.
  11. No. Regular spirit shield is better then. If you need range def, obby shield is better.
  12. You sir, are the stupid one. Mint cakes are worth 5m+ street price. you could have sold tons of junk, but instead you got a worthless ags lend.... Yes, i'm stupid, your stupid, everyone is stupid, but instead of spending hours gathering "junk" i got 24h ags lend that lead to 2 ss splits and 1 bandos hilt split, alongside 5m of lsp. Why someone would spend hours gathering junk when making regular money is more profitable is beyond me. Because, it isn't always. There are several ways of making 1m+ junk an hour. You can also brew certain things, which have a high junk profit for little work. And Dem, you act as if being elitist is bad.
  13. Yes, exactly warren. That is what I have been saying for a long time. Mint cake is a fiat currency, used to match up an items street to ge price.
  14. Oi! I had to work Christmas eve, day, New Years eve, and day. Jagex *should* have had an update for week of 4-10th ready. That said, oh well.
  15. I BEAT YOU LOWC! Gratz anyways though. :D

The fact that I have 5x the xp then you, and have full void range+melee+void mace, plus my right as a person to an opinion, give me the right to call you a noob. Plus, swearing makes you appear one. Killing brawlers SHOWS YOU ARE A NOOB. They help you win. Seems to me, YOU are the one who is the problem.
  17. I found that deleting the cache works great, if the game client freezes at Loaded Defaults. It was just a hunch, since months ago no one had any advice, but it worked.
  18. Burden of proof is on you, not on me.
  19. No. It does stack. How else could you hit so high with AGS spec on slayer monsters? At least, I am 99% sure.
  20. Not really. Without extreme pots, it is possible to hit at least 89 with AGS in kuradal's dungeon, I believe. You fail to see that's a BANDOS Godsword. Edit: @ Krampell; BGS 68 Spec is good, with fury ring or without, so i'd say yeah Blutters, it's pro  You can easily hit 69 without spec. That was my reference point.
  21. and bring back old wild and take away trade limits? \:D/ Ye, when hell freezes over. It *could* happen....
  22. Not really. Without extreme pots, it is possible to hit at least 89 with AGS in kuradal's dungeon, I believe.
  23. The D sq has been out for quite a while, is dropped in PvP, and isn't all that usefull. That is why its so cheap. BTW: DSS=Divine spirit shield, which is like 485m GE and a lot more street.
