  1. Wait for the new overpowered rewards in B2 which come out tomorrow. TBH this is more like 1.5 I think...
  2. Fury (Or) kitt seems to be about half to one third the street of an ely, judging by how much they are being sold for on the black market. (Around 50 dollars each) Knowing "black market" prices is quite a reliable method of figuring out street prices for doing legitimate trades.
  3. 70% of all people? No, just those who have a friend that also is/became a runescape player, or vice versa... When you look at competative clans the density is considerably larger, but the 70% is the average of all the people fitting in the category mentioned... Whether you choose to belive it or not is of no concern to anyone but yourself, but I have no reason to lie in an article... With several people already admitting (publicly, rather than privately to me) on this thread that they once had access to an account that was not their own, only confirms it all. I'd be curious as to where you got your data, without a real data pool, your numbers are highly subject to being messed up. I, personally, wouldn't believe the 70% number without some proof, and I mean real proof, and not just some assumption based off personal conclusion. And, actually, this line is rather asinine. "Whether you choose to belive it or not is of no concern to anyone but yourself, but I have no reason to lie in an article" You assume we should just believe you, without any hard data. I'm not discounting the fact that you could be right, rather that I fail to see a reliable, even slightly scientific method that you used to determine this.
  4. Nope, not since easters/pumps crashed. What about disks? Did they die too? Well, they are 91m in GE, and I've seen people selling for ~150m, so they have street, but not much.
  5. I guess it comes down to weather or not you give two flying excrements about dungeoneering XP, i for one, dont. Id say the staff is worth around all the rings, the crossbow probably not. I believe XPX was talking about the XP in other skills, such as herblore, WC, farming, etc, from opening doors and such.
  6. Nope, not since easters/pumps crashed.
  7. Do you have ANY evidence to support this? Spec, Divine, and Elly sigls all went down 11.2k? Seems suspicious to me <_< You = Don't know how the GE works. The price of the sigils is attached to the BSS, and the shield. If the Divine stays at a constant 533.9m, but BSS drops 10k, the divine sigil will rise 10k. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Ge
  8. Exactly, from a pure efficiency factor, its very very rare for either the MA rings or the Chaotic staff/c'bow to actually "pay off". The exceptions mainly being those who extensionally range and need the range bonus (arma, example) and those who FFA corp as an example for the rings.
  9. MA is "worth" it really only 2 ways. 1.) To get the "best" gear 2.) If you are doing HW/reading/something else while playing MA From a purely efficient standpoint, of course they aren't worth it. However, they are damn useful know that I have them, and I don't regret the time getting them. I'm already close to having all the gear I need/want (outside fighter helm and chaotic set, which is being worked on) That being said, the EARLIER a person gets MA rings, if he is going to get them at all, the more they will benefit him. I will also say that, as of yet, I have NOT used either my warrior (i) or archer (i). I am always using either serker (i), dstone (i) (soloing etc) or onyx (i)
  10. Pretty sure I'm not. I just find it funny the lengths people have to go to to justify their crashing (I seriously lol inside every time someone mentions efficiency and fun). At any rate, I like your analogy. If someone is taking too long at the vending machine, push them out of the way. Yeah, that makes sense. It's possible to be a troll without realizing it Also, "rationalization" isn't necessarily bad. The most basic reason people crash is out of what you'll probably call "laziness" - but that's not inherently a bad thing. If it allows more valuable items to be created into the world, why not? It's really just a matter of perception of who "owns" the spot. There aren't a lot of solid reasons why the early bird deserves the spot. The most basic reason is simply convention. Analogy: a big company moves into a small town and outcompetes a small company. The intentions of the big company are to make more money - call this "Greed" if you want. But at the end of the day, society as a whole will prefer that the bigger company stay, rather than the small company. Why? Because the bigger company can offer better things at cheaper prices. At the end of the day, that's a lot more important to people than "politeness". Sidenote: Every dollar you spend at Walmart is a vote of your approval of them. No matter how much you hate their business practices and bad effects on local economies, you are essentially voting for them to stay by buying their products. You will find the "polite" people on this thread arguing against allowing wal-mart into the town at all, in many instances, I would be willing to bet.
  11. Well as long as you have at least +10 prayer, you're going to be able to complete most tasks on a single invent of prayer potions, so Bandos + fire cape is actually the best possible setup for slayer if you can afford the prayer potions. Bandos + SW cape is more economical, though, and only slightly less effective (it's also more invent-friendly, which I like). The goal is to use up as few pray pots as possible, though. No its not. P pots are cheap. Thats why SGS is such crap, it really saves so little, hence why claws are so good. (especially in kura's dungeon.)
  12. Just to nitpick, I think you mean the price is irrelevant. Although you certainly can take into account the cost of losing the ability to merch with the ~20-25m you'd have tied up in the BCP, if you're the type of player who does that. Not in this thread though, as the price, (thanks for correcting) isn't a factor here. Cost and value of time were mentioned numerous times in the original post. Wrong, the price of the gear was NOT mentioned.

  14. Which is why, everytime I happen to be on ancients, I go play a few games of SC.
  15. A big +1 to that. When you are wrong, use extensive sarcasm, as in the case of the OP +2
  16. I dont get it.. Youre level 45 dungeoneering. lol #-o He's still right. You don't have to go to Detroit to know it sucks. Except it doesn't SUCK it's just not as good. And I agree with CallmeNice, people without one can't really judge, even if it isn't good you still can't say anything  That argument is tantamount to saying to saying that without firsthand experience of ANYTHING, one can not render an opinion on it. In the case of somethings, especially where experience or talent is more important then running numbers that may be true, but not in in instances where the data is available to all, where one can from 2nd hand experience, some small amount of research, and a comparison of the numbers etc, one doesn't need to own either a CLS or a CR to state which is superior in certain situations, especially if one already has extensive knowledge OF that situatuion. (EG, which would be better at DKS on task, with maxed melees, etc.) But i digress, if you'd like to continue, hop over to the CLS vs CR thread.
  17. I think you mean: "Flipping an item doesn't mean you can't use it."? So you mean to say you can flip Bandos while using it? No lol. What I mean is that you can own and flip and item and not use it. So you can own Bandos and flip it without using it for slayer. Then how is that relevant to my argument? If you put 45m into buying Bandos, you can't use that same 45m to flip and make money, right? So it's costing you? The COST of bandos is rather irrelevant to this arguement, as we are discussing the cost of USING bandos compared to other armor, as well as the BENEFITS and LIMITATIONS of bandos. COST =/= this discussion.
  18. You are as unique as everybody else, nothing really special there.
  19. I don't see it as having anything to do with might making right. Everyone has the right to fight and everyone has the right to lose if they lose and win if they win. And I'll respect anyone's right to compete for a spot, mighty or meek. "Might makes right" in the sense that if you can't defend your spot, I can take it. In this case, I have the "right" to use the spot, since I have the "might" to take it. That is outside the argument of morals/ethics/manors. If you think the above argument is rude, I submit that you read some of the other arguments. Might makes right is mainly relevant when one believes that first comes first serve is a rather asinine argument against crashing. Personally, if someone gets so sore about being crashed at TDs that they will try and lure every TD one me, I'm more likely to hop then anything. If, however, you try and insult me continually, say things like "Die IRL" etc etc, then I will not only report you, but also try to get your ass killed, and keep you from getting your stuff back, because in that instance YOU are the one being the ass. If people would stop taking crashing personally, as some players (Who i've crashed, and been crashed by) do, it will make MH'ing far more enjoyable.
  20. TOS Referring to children under 13 years of age: [hide=TOS]If you are under 13 you will be able to create an account but unable to disclose personal data through the game or website. If we find out that any personal data we have collected is from someone under 13, we will automatically delete it. If you are under 13 and subscribe to the members' version of our game you are representing (i.e. making a promise) that you have consent from your parents / guardian to use Jagex Products in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy policy. We may Stop any account if we are not satisfied that such consent has been given.[/hide] Rule about who can use account: [hide=Roole]No, this is not allowed. Sharing your account with anyone, including family members and/or friends, means that you are breaking a game rule and this can lead to your account being banned.[/hide] So no, even a parent isn't allowed to USE a child's account, although the rules doesn't say anything about the parent KNOWING the password.
  21. What Studio says: first come first serve. What Troacctid says: not that. Now who is right? I am. Obviously. :ugeek: Comes down to personal opinion and the "might makes right" factor.
  22. You won't get laughed at using CLS for MH - that's the only place where it is potentially useful. Exactly. Look at it this way, at TD's, I'm hitting 500's with whip. Its not rare to hit a 280-450. If I hit 330 first time, he'd change prayer. I'd have to test to see if there is a major difference TBH. I just about only MH know, maxed melees, and 99 slayer, so I think I'll get CLS. With Whip, I already kill TDs in 45 seconds each. (Only get 2-3 a trip max where I need to relower shield, and thats without titan) and when I solo DKS I won't be risking chaotic. The difference between CLS pking and CR pking is similar to whip vs GS. (Not counting spec weps.) In whiping, I depend on winning DMs, or combos (either 300-300 etc or hit+veng combo) With GS, I depend on spec, a lucky hit, or a hit+veng combo. CLS is defiantly more accurate, and harder hitting in PvP (I've fought all 3 weapons) but can't combo quite as well. It can, however, easily pop off veng combos of 650+, as well as KO'ing when the other person is ~550 HP.
  23. Was surprised 'cause it was next day, and only 76 kills after last pair.
