God book discussion
+8 Str? I doubt it. Thats more Str then the DFS, and more then bcp+tassies.

Why So Angry?
Well, personally, I was hoping that: "Elite" would signify BETTER rewards then level 3 clues. The god books aren't better. And for new ideas, not just a large number of rehased ideas.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcCHAUwpKNI Basic vid of how to do celtic knots fast. I've had 4 celtic knots, however, they are quite easy to complete. Simply keep on turning the red arrows counter-clockwise until both of the red-blue intersections are green. You may ( and probably will) need to move the blue arrows at least once, rotate these counterclockwise one space at a time, and repeat turning the red arrows. Then, simply turn the last silver arrow until it lines up. NOTE: The first time you get the red-blue to match up at both (or all 3) intersections may NOT be the right one. I've had to continue at least once. These should take under a minute TBH. Also NOTE: You do NOT need to do anything with the invert button either. Log in and out to reset the puzzle BTW.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcCHAUwpKNI Very quick vid I made to show how. I've done 4 knots know, with the last 3 taking 45 seconds to 2 minutes each. Who said that lol. Should be fairly obvious that, in this thread as in many others, danz has NO clue what he is talking about.

Agree with maul. It should have been better expressed who the article was directed at, qualifiers added etc, but at least you now know. My former answers to her article still stand, however it is good to know that the article was written in ignorance instead of intentionally used as a vendetta.

04-Aug-10 Elite Treasure Trails!
They are amazingly easy to solve. Take me 45 seconds to a minute know.

04-Aug-10 Elite Treasure Trails!
How to do knots: Move Red one anti-clockwise until where both red and blue intersect are green. If unable to do so, just keep on rotating blue once anti-clockwise, and repeating. Once you get them to match, simply keep rotating the 3rd knot until everything lines up. NOTE: First time I got the red/blue to match up, I wasn't able to finish the silver knot. I had to rotate blue again and get red/blue to line up first.

04-Aug-10 Elite Treasure Trails!
When you say you make 3M per hour, do you include the cost of potions, degrading armor, food and summoning scrolls? Most likely not and his 3mil per hour mumbo jumbo is based off of monster hunting and getting a high valued drop after x amount of hours and dividing the value of that one time drop over the amount of hours he has spent monster hunting... There is no way to earn, make, or get that much money every hour consistently hour after hour. Bull [cabbage]. DKS 2.5briding consistently makes 4.5m Gp/hr.

Monster that dropped Clue: Skeletal Horror Level of Clue (If 100% known): Elite Clue Hint (With picture):[hide][/hide] Where to solve Clue (With Picture): Lumby cave. Additional information if needed:Scan range is 11 paces. Will post where I got it once I find where it leads. I missed the arrow when I took picture, but a flashing arrows appered. pointing to the spot to dig. The last one was "dig within the walls of Varrock" 16 pace scan range. I've had 3 celtic knots, however, they are quite easy to complete. Simply keep on turning the red arrows counter-clockwise until both of the red-blue intersections are green. An Elitist's View on Crashing
Slightly off-topic, but how should they have run their business? Numerous ways, should have been specialized, ready for that eventuality, had more of a market niche, etc. and for PvP, then I can't use overloads of x pots. Not gona happen. BTW: My risking 650m at a boss that if I dc/lag can kill me (divine) is a LOT higher then your 50m risk to skill, where only way you die is lag and a pker.

In other words, I don't HAVE to crash, but you WILL lose if i do. So I don't know why you are trying to convince me of anything.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Sly, you keep using a straw man. No one has said its 100% always impossible to find an empty world, only that they aren't, or shouldn't be the ones to have to. And Danz, I don't give a rats ass if you give me a warning over this, but you shouldn't be the one giving out warnings in a thread where you are so heavily against the people you are warning. A judge is expected to step out of a case if his bias could throw the outcome one way or the other. Neither you nor I are neutral in this topic. You should get another mod to look if you believe rules have been broken, instead of throwing your weight around. Blade made a valid point, It wouldn't be a surprise if someone tried this. Heck, I know of people who PAY real life money for others to take them to GWD/etc. So what blade said wasn't spam, but something which could, conceivably, happen. Especially considering things which are FAR more off topic, spammy, or just unneeded, are allowed, or at least not removed.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
<3 you too ryannub. :P Ye, its not something I like, but its often needed. I *could* find a world, but I'm not going to hop 10 times. Note: the only boss I do is DKS as a generally rule. Sara/arma its normally easy(er) to find a world.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Don't think anyone said the "elite" don't die. Maybe we don't die as often, but some things (Power outages, world lags out, DC's, etc) are indiscriminate of levels. Also, don't think anyone said that it was always 100% impossible to find a free world, sometimes its easy. Other times it isn't. I suppose I could always hop until someone leaves, but why should I spend an hour everytime I want to MH? Sorry, I don't care THAT much about you. Here is a challenge. This friday, go to bandos, both LS and non LS worlds. Go to 50, or even 20 worlds. Tell me how many worlds with over 1k pop are free, ok?

Lol@ someone who has a lot more gameplay left, from someone who has played all the minigames, done all quests, etc.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
In essence, I know I'll get flamed on it, but I crash because its more expedient for me. At DKS, I'll hop 3 times max. At Bandos, until I find an easy to crash world, or an empty one. At TDs, until I see someone either epic failing, or using one of the two TDS I double lure.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
I'd rather not risk 650m, and kill you or make you hop, then for me to risk 650m. Hell, I'd rather you die and lose 50m then I die and lose 10m, although I'll probably bless.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
TBH you're being rude anyway. You can't judge someone solely on their levels. If someone is at a spot, you should just leave them to it and hop/go to a different spot. I like to think that people are courteous to each other, whether they be higher or lower leveled. That's naive. At many bosses, there ARE no empty spots. You HAVE to crash if you want a world. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that PvP worlds are usually empty. So, ugh, no you don't have to crash. Because I SOOO Want to go take a world with 600 pop, and risk 650m+ everytime I MH. (No grave stones and skulled) Oh gosh... LOL Honestly, I don't care about random people. They can hop, takes them 45 seconds. I'l be nice too, blessing etc, and when I'm not Mhing, but for Mhing, its cut throat.

Tip.It Times - 1st August 2010
In essence, I wouldn't have taken so much exception to the article if Racheya hadn't lumped everyone who has something against TT's not coming out with RSOF'ers who just ranted. There was nothing to differentiate these two groups of people. I would still have felt the author's writing style was poorly chosen and executed, but I wouldn't have felt it was aimed at anyone who disagrees with the author, which is what the author seemed to be trying to do. It could have been written without so much bias and attack. In fact, I have half a mind to re-write that article, from Racheya's standpoint of complaining being useless, just to show how it COULD or SHOULD have been done. As well, phrases like "their shiny new toy" and "kid" should never have found their way into the article.

Tip.It Times - 1st August 2010
Actually, you are wrong. Maybe you should take some logic, as well as writing, classes to learn the difference, before you attempt to correct others, k? "that many players took the predictions of the BTS to be set-in-stone truth. Then, when Jagex didn’t manage to get all the updates in for that month, or were having issues that delayed one of the updates in the BTS... a lot of people didn’t like it." That is, rather obviously, aimmed at TIF'ers who complained. Its based on the assumption that others believe the BTS is set in stone, which, if you read the thread, is actually NOT what people said. In fact, I don't remember one person saying so. "Yet, the people complained and cried. There was outrage and fury. Jagex had promised the new Treasure Trails! How dare they postpone it for a week! " Possibly correct about RSOF, but this assessment is made about ANYONE and EVERYONE, with no differentiation between those who complained, but still understood the need for delay at times, and those who just raged. Another logically fallacy, and a rather childish attack. "How on Earth am I supposed to entertain myself if I don’t have shiny new things to click every week?! We pay, we say!" That is just idiotic, I can't believe any thinking author would write that. Saying something like that is comparable, in some ways, to a taxpayer saying because they pay taxs, they can direct where their tax money goes to. We pay, but we don't direct what updates come out, rather we pay to be ABLE to pay RS. That argument is a straw man, attacking something else, rather then the issue at hand. I'd really be interested in knowing how much Racheya knows about programming, and coding. From reading her blog, as well as other areas, I feel rather secure in saying that she has NEVER coded ANYTHING in her life. "So really, the rage and upset over this is just rather stupid if you ask me." Ok, fine, that is an opinion and everyone is entitled to it. I rather think your writing and logic skills are poor, but that is just my opinion, and I am entitled to it. "The update will be out soon enough anyway and there’s enough content to be getting on with in the meantime" Quite a lame argument. Considering 1.) I know people who only play to try out new updates etc, and 2.) saying that "Don't whine, it will be out later" is rather silly. If I owe my brother money, he is expecting it on a certain day, although he knows for sure I might not be able to pay him, and then I don't pay him, he might be upset with me. Sure, he'd be understanding, and he'd wait, but I wouldn't blame him for not being happy. "And, if you think that you ‘deserve’ this update NOW because you’re a paying member, then the solution is to stop paying." sigh. Show me ONE post where anyone said they DESERVED this update now? That argument to stop paying is so stupid, I shouldn't even have to correct it. I love culvers. (A restaurant) However, if one time, they fail to serve food as expected, and I complain about it, will I stop going their forever? NO. It was a disappointment, but I don't just stop going there. I instead complain to management, in order to receive either a reason, or a refund. "I’d be tired of hearing kids going “But they said!” too" Way to go. The ending of an writing should be the summation of your whole argument. You did that quite well, by showing that your only retort was to resort to calling anyone who complained a "kid" I have to go know, I'll be back later to finish my response.

Newfound Uses for Modern Prayers
It should be like lunar, ancients, and modern spell book, where they each have their uses.
