No. I think I lost it TBH. I wouldn't care if RS was 6 bucks now, and 15 if I quit. If i got bored, I'd stop playing and just pay the extra 10 bucks a month if I came back.

Very few people look in RS suggestions, or questionnaire etc. compared to GD. So I'd post something which could be considered a "question" in GD unless it was something quite trivial. (When was the last time yuo got a birdnest wcing) And ^lol. (MMG is a terrible CEO IMHO BTW) :D

I'l kill them 99.99% of the time in 1 hit. someone else wouldn't. I shouldn't have to say that killing something at 1/3rd the speed of me (3 hits) is going to result in about 1/3 the kills per hour.

4.5m gp/hr. 200 hours for 900m, and thats not counting money from MTK, bstaffs, herb runs, merching/flipping. It isn't hard to make billions anymore. That is why Phats are so hard, mostly impossible, to buy on the GE. They are worth several, to many times over their GE price. Stop using this 4.5m gp/hr rate. The majority of players either can't or don't want to camp dk's for hours on end like you. While I agree it's extremely easy to make money today, for a majority of players an average like that isn't accurate. Why not? We aren't talking about the average 'scaper in this thread. This thread is for those who are, or want to, invest in things mentioned in the title, or just want to know how the market works. I hate it when people like you come into a thread talking about, for example, the most efficient way to do something, or fastest, or best, and saying things like 'that costs too much" or "most people can't do that" we aren't talking about "most" people. We are talking about those who are higher level, or have more cash. Not to mention someone who isn't willing to camp DKS, or make money some other way, won't be buying a divine/ely/party hat/ etc anytime soon either. While I agree it's easier to make money today than it was, I think you missed what I was getting at. 4.5m gp/hr is fine and dandy but the real average is around 1m, and your average player today usually has enough worth to at least invest in some type of rare. It just annoys me that because some of us can make 4.5m gp/hr you assume it's that simple for everyone else. No more discussion needed. As I said, we aren't talking about average people. Go start another topic if you want to talk about the "average" scaper.

I really don't get your post, you say it's realistic to say that cls is not beautiful, yet you continue to say that looks are subjective.. Also talking about the fun of the maul, that is subjective as well. I personally hate the slow speed of the maul. Plus, I don't get why people keep mentioning the maul, this thread is about the longsword and the rapier. Also, the fact that you can't use a shield with the maul makes it useless to mention it, since you can't really compare a 2handed and a 1handed weapon. Anyhow, I play this game for fun, I don't care about researching the crap out of a game, to get that 20 minutes benefit in the long run. Also, you can't say that the cls isn't a good weapon, it has quite high stats and a decent speed. Granted, the rapier might be better, but I do care about looks. And that's why I chose the longsword. Just imagine a world where people only care about efficiency and don't care about looks. What would the world look like? Final note, I don't get the people bashing on other people for chosing either of the two, is this just some sort of jealousy or regret? This thread is made to decide which one is better at certain activities, not who is more pro/noob because he/she chose one of the two (or three). Try 20 hours,instead of 20 minutes. I don't need rapier for slayer anymore, and I solo bandos a lot. Now I'm not sure if I want long or rapier. Thinking about rapier though, since whip already beasts graador.

You mean it's the only activity (as in the general term) that requires skills (which refers to teamwork) to get good payout. It's much like team-based activities like castle wars and stealing creation. Of course, if those had actual level system I can say the same thing too. :rolleyes: Hey I like raiding, its that its got an abysmal design, and is far to hard to find good teams.

MTK maples gave more people cheap FM than bots ever did. Cheap prayer from dragon bones? What are you smoking? But I agree with the general point you are trying to make, even if you mangled the specifics. Botting is not some noble pursuit that keeps prices down for the scaper. It's cheating that exploits imbalanced supply/demand in the game for the purpose of hoarding in-game wealth. It used to be for acquiring real-world wealth, though I think those holes have been mostly plugged. If I could pay for college by botting in RuneScape rather then working a real job, I'd do it. Wouldn't you?
