  1. If you think these are so obvious, you are more than welcome to write an article and send it in as a guest article. Writing is not as easy as some of you make it out to be, let alone choosing a topic to write on. Maybe the fact that there aren't any topics that are instantly apparent to be interesting and salient to the writers should be an indication that they should not write an article? Just sayin'. That's how the tip.it times works. They have release dates, and they make sure they have something written. If you don't find it interesting, don't read it and don't complain. It's as simple as that. No. That isn't how it works. If a newspaper article is poorly written or boring, because the author had a deadline to meet, then he should expect complaints. The Times is no different. At first yes, but he hasn't found anything interesting in two years, as he states. Logic dictates, you'd stop reading. Why is it that everyone insists on complaining about everything? If you don't like it, stay away! A person cannot make everyone happy, and he happens to be one of those people. If he doesn't like it, he should write something. Complaining accomplishes nothing. Taking initiative to change, that accomplishes things. That's more effective than complaining. Give suggestions on how to make it better. "I don't like it" does absolutely nothing. "How about you do this instead?" That'll have a better chance of doing something. *coughs* We've been saying change the deadline or release fewer articles for MONTHS now.
  2. Why don't you clean herbs as you do herb runs?

  4. If you think these are so obvious, you are more than welcome to write an article and send it in as a guest article. Writing is not as easy as some of you make it out to be, let alone choosing a topic to write on. I'm in the process of doing so, I've already talked about it with several of the more intelligent forum members. I know how hard writing is, but when the author is too lazy or else unwilling to check the "facts" that he basis his argument on, that doesn't show much for the author's intelligence or writing skills. And he will be called on it, as several forumers have done already.
  5. Ye, my whip already owns bandos solo. Rapier will only be better. And since I don't solo bandos as much as I dks (CR wins) and TD (CR wins) or slay (CR wins) CR is better.
  6. Another boring first article. Really, why do these articles keep on stating the obvious, and not even doing it particularly well? Oh ye, thats right... Requiem is a friend of Racheya's. You will get ONE RC option at most per effigy, and then use the lamp. So there is no way you get 130k+ xp. The author could have checked that within 5 minutes. Not to mention, you already need over 6m to use on RC consistently, without have to stew. I've also had as many effigies from dusties as from ISW, so they aren't exactly hard to get.
  7. CLS has an epic stab bonus, watch this guy use CLS for his iron dragons task. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yud7cGvYngo CLS has the highest stab bonus of any non pvp weapon in the game, +107. Its 10% more but 25% slower. And we already know that the guy in that video isn't all that smart or knowledgeable. He's using both bandos boots and DFS when he is praying melee and using super antifires.
  8. What's the risk for that setup? I normally use dstone ring, so like 30m'ish.
  9. Can't sell, but you can alch. And yes.
  10. Soulgazer, nechraeyl, night spider, and spiritual guardian all that floor too.
  11. Any idea when divine will jump ~25m or whatever in ge? I *might* try to swap out for a phat before, and buy back after.
  12. This. In under a week Scroll of life saved me 800k.
  13. I'm obviously not gonna do it with my whole bank. :P. Plus, I've died so many times for full gear in both PvP and GWD that it'd prolly only bother me for a minute or two. >.< Like my wise business professor once said, "If you lose money.. You make more!" Although, if you don't lose your money. You don't need to make any more to begin with since you already have it. The exact reason I quit playing on Doctor Zany and dropped his Divine and tons of other gear. Had no reason to make money, no reason to GWD or anything for that matter. Lol. When Strife got his Ely drop, he wanted to quit 'cause he also had no motivation to play anymore. >.< Thats why I always have at least a few goals in the works :D
  14. Help me convince my friend that CLS is WAY WORSE then rapier, especially since he like never does bandos, and does DKS. BTW Ryan, I know you are reading this.
  15. Just need 3 more levels for now. I'll get 83-84 a week or so after necklace.
  16. For DKS: 3 hops, then I crash. For bandos solo, until I can find an easy (80%+) of kills world. Zaps, its called the high score. If they have x pots, they'll be using them
  17. That's actually untrue. While arcane ss was bought out a friend of mine put in an offer for arcane sigil not even close to the ge update time without offering for max. It was bought for mid in about 2 hours time and he sold the shield on ge for max 4 hours later. Nope, Its first offer in. Any idea when Divine will update in GE? Last time I checked it seemed to do so every ~3 months.
  18. This. I wear Fire cape/SW cape most of the time slaying/bossing. But if I am skilling, or just "dressing up" I wear my slayer/prayer/summoning cape.
  19. About the only one I could think of is miths, wyverns, and dark beasts. I normally use bunyip for DBs though, since I'm turmoiling.
  20. Use 3 doses per stew, Its like 1-10 for a +4 herb boost, but 1-50 for a +6.
  21. why do so many people actualy beleive this? can nobody tell its imbued At this point it's about the faded names next to the minimap. Lol'd at the picture and all the rehashes, though. The faded names are from mumble, a VOIP, which SoDB uses.
  22. Only reason I did it was because I wanted to get a drop, and now I can say I soloed a full GS. (Hilt+shards.) DKS is still better cash, as are TDS.
