  1. Or I do both, I go w/ DGE for fast(er) floors, and DG with friends using skype/mumble when we all need floors. The later is more fun, but I enjoy the first for faster tokens.
  2. But then it wouldn't be a Cryptic Clue FEST. It'd be a Cryptic-get all the items before hand and knock it out in 5 minutes- Clue Welcome to the world of efficiency. Jagex doesn't work with efficiency, they're still using Windows 3.0 on their computers. Fixed. Windows 95 was a beast. Agreed. Win95 is a man's operating system. I missed the first one, I wonder if I can get the magnifying glass again? It's probably a long shot though. These events are fun. We still use windows 95 to run Dalet at work still, on at least a half dozen computers. Hell, we have a tandy PC from like, the 70's to run our AUX power system....
  3. There's a difference between a controversial article and a poorly written article. If the first article was controversial, edgy, and sparked some sort of heated discussion, I'd absolutely agree. However, it's just a list of spells and a tiny little attempt by the author to defend herself against a stranger. You'll typically find that people are much more vocal about things they dislike than things they like. In this case, the first article sucked, and everyone's pointing it out. This is why I scrapped the article I had written, and am either going to change topics or re-write. It didn't convey what I was trying to convey, and it was too much information people probably already knew.
  4. I don't remember the last double xp weekend...
  5. I hate this "overloads are too expensive" crap. Its a logical fallacy, which is only true in a few situations. If you used overloads to get herb xp at around 32 gp/xp, then the potion is technically free to use, and vis versa. (Free xp but pay for the pot) The only time they "cost" to use is if you don't value herb xp.
  6. Come back when every world is lootshare. Once those low levels get high level the problem will be solved. Until then, I win, they lose, end of story.
  7. As I said not attacking anyone, you speak about being effiecent and making the most out of your time, I was wondering what you was doing here, speaking it like it wasn't a bad thing. Your original post was an attack on anyone who crashes, actually. I agree that this thread is getting REALLY repetitive. Sseli, you should go through all the posts, find all of the arguments against crashing and all of the best rebuttals to those arguments, then post them in the OP so people wont keep saying "u should just be nice!11" and "why dont u just hop!1!". Well how else do you want me to portray it? It's not right, yet you're saying it's perfectly fine, you're so called 'elite' therefore you deserve all the spots, yet Jagex intended it to be a group area, not something you can solo for 3 hours straight, people are trying to play the game the way it was intended are being shoved off and forced to go elsewhere all because it's an inconvienance to you, what about them? It's a major inconvienance to them, they need the money to get better, you have much better options avaliable to you, yet you choose to go where lower levels are grouping up and trying to get better to get to your level, yet you're putting an obstacle in their way. It's a MMO for a reason, not a competition to who can get the max first, you are resorting to barbarianism, you said it yourself you don't like being crashed so you do it to others. You think all the spots are reserved for you just because you're a higher level and don't need them, I noticed your fishing level is behind me. If I saw you fishing in a spot and started fishing there because there were no more spots in that world, would you be forced to hop, since I have a higher fishing level? No, Jagex intended fishing spots to be shared, like how Bandos isn't a solo effort. And please don't bother trying to ignore my statements and try and reverse it to make me look like a bad guy and ignoring my arguments, that is what we like to call 'ignorance' and 'deniance' it is a sign you accept this is bad yet continue on. Yawn, the "Its not right" (With no statement from jagex, a rule, etc to back it up) Is really just an opinion. Why, exactly, isn't it right? You also assume I should care about you. (Which, frankly, I don't). Its a competitive game. If I'm better at it then you, you lose. If I'm better at a first person shooter, or a RTS game, you will lose as well. I'm not being *mean*. I'm just beating you.
  8. Then no one would buy them, especially since the recharge cost would be even more. I'd pay 100m in a second. you also have a [bleep]load of money to simply "toss around" compared to the average player. Point of the game is to enjoy it and have fun, not grind our life away, just to be on par-comparison with your "requirements" to be called a good player and on par to other 138's. Not to sound like im attacking you, but you it to be true. And maybe if you were efficient??? Tired of the "Divine prod" and "Lvl 138 no life" or "rich person no life" Maybe if people played smarter they'd be "better off" in the game. Oh wait, you are ranked in 3 skills. THREE.
  9. You kidding me? This is the perfect comparison. Dung tokens =/= xp. You could probably go from 10-40 dung opening resource dungeons and doing genire lamps lol (kind of beside the point). Tokens are the reward for gaining xp in dung, just as runes and rune ore is the xp from getting xp in runecrafting and mining. Tokens aren't an ability. Your dung lvl is your ability. Which is why saying you lose your xp and ability is kind of silly. The CLS is the reward, just as whatever you do with your runes/ore is your reward. All toads are frogs, not all frogs are toads. You CAN get DG xp without getting tokens, you CAN NOT get DG tokens without getting xp. See my point? Once I get 92 FM, I can get another adze when I lose mine simply by spending 20 minutes on an activity. I don't need to earn 600k Firemaking tokens to be able to buy another adze. Sure, you unlocked the ability to wield chaotic weapons, but without a chaotic weapon to wield, that is rather moot.
  10. Prices will be no where near where they are know, just FYI.
  11. Actually, it's not. An onyx uncut is 14.8 mil, an amulet is 15.6 mil, and a fury is 16.? mil. I really need 90 crafting for this to work. I think i'll get on that. You understand the notion of street price, right? Yes, but i'm buying in the g.e, where that doesn't matter. Besides, street price can't be an larger than the trade limit, right? *facepalm* You won't be able to buy it, or EVERYONE and their mother would be doing it.
  12. 9.5/10. Sure, bank is a little low, but you got 99 herb and prayer so rather understandable. Would be 10/10 if you had claws instead of AGS :P and had higher DG.
  13. Little over 1m, its normally around 26-32 gp/xp, depends what you make. I have a few hundred torstol, and MTK will be running+W/e I farm. Time for higher herb methinks.
  14. I feel all 3 would be best, it's why I have all of them. Plus it's future proofing for future monsters, a boss could come out that a CM or a CLS would be best for, I'd rather have them ready than having to go back to that horrible place called dungeoneering  No, the point is that with rapier+maul, cls becomes useless, and the better boosting gear we get the more rapier will dominate over cls- with +10 more stab bonus, rapier might actually be better than cls even at solo bandos(same equipment). If future bosses are to have extremely high defence, no doubt maul would be best, and if they are to have low defence, rapier will be best- the only gray area is bosses with around the same defense as bandos at which rapier is slightly worse and maul is slightly better without a shield. Also, rapier is better than the cls as ALL current dragons. If you have a cls, and haven't tested it yet, cls is NOT a stab weapon. To use stab on it, it gives a major part of it's accuracy boost which is the only reason to use a cls in the first place. At most dragons, a zamorakian spear is even better or as good as cls because of this loss in accuracy(124 slash 107 stab vs 94 stab). With CLS at a boss you get the option to wear a shield, with maul you don't though. Which is the one reason I'm considering CLS.
  15. No last time i checked you still had 2m xp when u scrolled your mouse over your dung lvl. And what good does that 2m xp do me? If I lose my whip, I don't lose my level 70 attack that I need to wield it.
  16. 1 token=10 experience gained in a dungeon. Chaotic weapon = 200k tokens. GF chaotic weapon, essentially converts to GF 2m xp. Know, if I could gain tokens like I could gain GP, or trade GP for tokens, you might have some merit to what you say.
  17. Then no one would buy them, especially since the recharge cost would be even more. I'd pay 100m in a second.
  18. Conversely, if fewer idiots played this game, efficient players could get more done.
  19. I'm only joining in on this pointless argument to say this: Your figures can't be validated by even yourself. Your information is based on that of others, which is far, far less valid then even if you were the initial source of information. So, enlighten us. What are we doing so wrong that we can be making 2x as much as we are now. Maybe if you had high enough prayer... The point is, tokens are tied DIRECTLY to XP. There is no way to get more tokens for less xp. As a result, outside of ranks and higher floors (Which aren't much of a reward) losing a chaotic weapon will cost you gaining another 2m DG XP. Either answer my question or don't respond. I can just as easily turn it around and say "if you had a chaotic weapon." I desided to choose the higher road. What is your point? Go ahead and say if I had a chaotic weapon, I'm not the one wondering how to make 5m gp/hr...So really, there is no "Higher road" to take. My point was that most 'scapers were dumb and lazy, I don't think any reasonable person would disagree with me. I'm not referencing TIFERS, rather the average 'scaper. (EG, the ones slaying gargs with CLS, DFS etc.) My point is as follows: You said that "Everyone who can efficiently use a chaotic weapon should be able to. Its just that most 'scapers are either too dumb, or too lazy to MH efficiently." as a response to someone saying that 5 million an hour is a bit much. I am simply asking what method can reach those numbers, and what most chaotic weapon owners are doing wrong. Now, either cease responding to me, or provide evidence. Every post you've made as a response has been dodging around the first question of my first post. 1.) Key word is SHOULD. Part of that SHOULD includes knowing what to do. As such, you don't meet that criteria. 2.) Again, SHOULD. If you are MH'ing efficiently, you have the best gear and stats, and you trained that way. Most 'scapers don't train smart. 3.) You SHOULDN'T be do dumb ass stuff like 5 manning bandos, duo TDs, etc. 4.) TDs with steel titan averages over 5m GP hour, Armadyl was around 7m before hilt crashed, however its still quite a good method. DKS Multibrid is 4.5m gp/hr off task, more on task or with a cannon. There are other ways, Bandos solo is around 4m gp/hr, etc etc. 5m Gp/hr is not a bit much for someone who is efficient, and knows what they are doing. If you can efficiently train dungoneering, you SHOULD be able, and hopefully willing, to train other skills efficiently. However, since your average scaper is an idiot, they DON'T, thus rending the common opinion that anything above 1m gp/hr is OMFG AMAZING.
