  1. /int/ - 80% racist [bleep]s that don't know when they're getting trolled, 20% very sincere trolls.
  2. Things Done Changed - Biggie. ah, just chill.
  3. Firefox 3.5 is kinda buggy, you should upgrade to Firefox 3.6.10 ;). Maybe I should too, I'm on 3.6.7 Really ? I mean I've found it just fine about 99% of the time, however it's crashed before if I open too many GT videos at once. Even then it still saves all my tabs. I know that Greasemonkey is compatible with 3.5 + and so are most of my other addons but eh'. Honestly, I don't doubt that both Opera and Chrome are good browsers. But Firefox is just a solid workhorse with Greasemonkey + SkipScreen + Adblock Plus. Plus stuff like SF2, WOT and Xmarks just make it better. Oh and the highlight features are pretty handy aswell.
  4. Got mad skills. Respekt. edit - Seriously, how could you do that. ...
  5. I liked my schooling. Must be very different here in Australia to the UK and US. Maybe it's because I went to a good school and had good friends, but I really liked school. Especially my last 2 years. My teachers were mostly helpful but I do admit the work could get tedious - that's only because there was too much to do, not because I didn't find it interesting.
  6. I heard this from somewhere, probably just pasta but - "It is known that when you die, your brain goes into heavy activity for about 15 minutes before you encounter total necrosis of the cerebral neurons - the lack of oxygen causing irreversible brain death. In a separate study on sleep paralysis it was found that when subjects reported experiencing weeks and sometimes even months whilst dreaming, in actuality it was only a fraction of a second of a single REM cycle. This is why so many people have reported having their "life flash before their eyes". What does this means for us ? We could be already be dead." I take this with a pinch of salt, but it's still interesting to think about.
  7. Was released in May Don't like it that much TBH. Traced in Air > Focus > ReTraced imo. Just old songs rehashed but, eh.

Hipsters finally got the right idea. Kudos. EDIT: Aside from that - interesting story.
  10. lol. you really shouldn't be up this late. anyway, I haven't done pot [yet]. really ?
  11. What the [bleep] am I reading ?
  12. I can't make out any distinguishing features of the landscape. That's horrible in comparison to this - I like the sky though.
  13. Experience. Yeah, there's a difference between being homeless and living a easy life with all the comforts that a good job and consistent income provide you with. Those luxuries cost money, as does health care, education, roads, hospitals, schools. This is just all different types of stupid.
  14. [bleep] yes. Believe me, if I had it I would have already given it to you. Also, dude, there were like 8 or 9 epic battles in LotR.
  15. You'll get wise once you hit 15 or 16. Or when you get into highschool.
  16. fgsfds, I hate that fat ginger. I know he's trying to be an [wagon] you can hate but just ehhhhhhhhh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfmlZt8R6r4 If you don't live in Aus, you probably won't get this, but it's still pretty funny.

  18. I'm content with running FireFox, I'm on 3.5.7 and I find it much more convienent than opera or Chrome just because I've got everything down to my liking. All the addons I have serve a function which makes it faster for me to do stuff etc ... Oh and of course - this is very helpful.
  19. [bleep]ing again ? Seems to me that there's one every week hidden in a thread regardless whether or not the topic title suggests. Last one I remember was this
  20. That's like saying "simple reduction in CO2 emissions by way of developing more efficient cars doesn't warrant the development of electric cars". It doesn't follow. ... You misunderstood my post. I was saying that if a certain activity reduces energy consumption by x amount it "warrants" doing an activity that reduces it by 2x amount.
  21. Infamous ? what. Organic chem is massive but it's great. imho much more practical and applied than normal chem. Pretty fun, and way more interesting. Only real downside is the IUPAC stuff and there's a significant amount of memorization. Depends on what you like as well. I remember the whole alkene, alkane, functional group, all the various species etc which was interesting learning about but not so much fun memorizing. Then theres' more difficult stuff like resonance, conjugates, enantiomers, and processes, like esterification, polymerization, addition /substitution reactions. There's a whole other bio related side with amino acids, peptides etc but I never did that. I can't believe I let this piece of garbage be the last post of this thread. Organic chemistry is junk. The worst part of the course (reactions) is just nonsense electron pushing all over the place (not for all reactions mind you, most of the time its very logical). And guess what, organic chemistry 2 is all about strange reactions with funky exceptions. The only way I can possibly get a good grade in this class is by memorizing 50 or so different reactions. The only upside to the whole mess is I've had two really cute lab partners for both 1 and 2. mmmIdontknow. curriculum must be different, but organic pracwork is usually more entertaining.
