I watched Alice In Wonderland. Meh...6/10. It was okay. [bleep]ing Depp's dancing just killed the whole mood, would have been a better movie without that. In retrospect, that $16 could have been spent on The Hurt Locker, I'll watch that sometime... Second one I watched was Shutter Island, one big mind[bleep]... though I didn't fully understand or like the ending. Was he really a US ranger or a patient at the institution. At any rate, still a good movie. 9/10

I'm all for humour, but if it involves mass murder or extremely unfortunate circumstances then laughing about it usually considered distasteful. Nick what you mentioned is joking about a particular death to one who endured it, but it goes all the same for a 12 year old dieing of leukemia, deaths of thousands by the hands of a few, and the recent earthquake in Haiti. These things are not to be joked about even if you're not talking to someone directly involved.

And this is all current, the supplied figures are 2003, 2006, 2008. In the US it's 8.2 deaths [ages 15 -19] per 100,000. UK 2008 Overview UK 2008 US 2006 US Age Breakdown 2006 Australia 2006 Overview And a World Comparison using 1998 - 2000 figures, ages 15 - 24 male and female. It's generally higher than most English speaking western countries and most of Europe and Asia, but lower than some Scandinavian and Central European countries ... I dont know, something is different.
