world baseball classic!
Yea, the US appealed to the 3rd base umpire and the 3rd base umpire ruled in favour of Japan - that should have been it. But Buck Martinez went and argued with the home plate umpire who should not turn over an already appealed call, but he did and ruled in favour of the US. Would it surprise you to know that the home plate umpire was American? And he lost his job as a MLB Ump and is now a Minor League ump. But as for the japanese runner running late. I watched the side by side replay and yes, he didnt leave early. However in realtime which is how the calls go. He did leave the bag early. I could clearly see he left it early in realtime. But thats part of the game, Human error.

Is our soceity really that safe??--story-- !!READ!!
What if you wanted to send someone a letter in real life. Maybe a love note to a girlfriend or a note to a congressman. Do you go "WOAHMYGOD LOL SOZ BUTT I KANT SPEEL LOL PLZ CHNGE DA LAW LOL". Or "HAI BAYBEE I LUV U LOL PLZ WRTE BAK". Spelling helps others to be able to read the post/paragraph/letter without misinterpreting what the writer is saying. In other words, SPELL THE DAMN THING RIGHT SO I CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR READING WITHOUT HAVING A HEART ATTACK.

R.I.P.
That is not suicide, that is sacrifice. "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends." That highest level of selfless service should never be compared with such a selfish act as suicide. I feel compassion and sadness. Not for him, but for his family. I can't imagine what they are going through when their son can't even go to them with his problems and instead takes his own life. Suicide is a result of tunnel vision. Whatever people say about what he must have been going through, etc is meaningless. We all have pain we go through in life, some more than others. The true measure of character is how you handle the challenges that life gives you. Don't allow people to mask this as anything but pride. It was pride that leads a person to "not want to bother" others with his problems. It was selfishness that made him make the decision that he would rather force his parents through a lifetime of pain than bother them with his problems. Tunnel vision. Pitiful. I couldnt have said it better binny, very well said. I dont however wish to hop onto this topic. I have had a difficult past and things such as this make me recollect on it. That being said, Binny we <3 joo come back to #stats kay? lolol

the kid in me just died - Kirby Puckett - R.I.P
His small demeanor never showed on the field. With a lifetime average on .318, this guy could flat out hit the ball. His small stature never held him back from doing anything. Given his history of some off the field problems after his career, he was a well loved and respected member of the Minnesota community. As a huge baseball fan i am deeply saddened by his loss. He was the 2nd youngest member of the Hall Of Fame to die (Lou Gherig was the other) and i must say, its sad, very sad. R.I.P. Kirby Puckett

I also remember when i was like 3 or 4, i was supposed to get my chceckup and shots, and i ran out of the room and hid in the hospital for 2 hours before they got me :(. Bastahds!

Gotta love US obesity laws....
I read that story, and i have a slight disagreeance with it. Students should be able to eat one or two dessert food a week. But his parents restricted all desserts. Therein lies the problem. Some dessert foods, albeit loaded with sugar, are actually good for you. Maybe a portion of grapes for dessert, or a bar of chocolate (yes it is healthy believe it or not), or a strawberry or three. But no desserts at all? Cmon The college here also does a sort of program like that. Parents load up X amount of money onto a card and their children can spend it on food that they want. Not exactly the same, but i feel that if your older, you can be able to make healthy and choose wise decisions for yourself.

Isnt a civil war allready going on in iraq? *This* close to it unfortunatley I almost choked on my soda when i saw the title and then realized what it was. But as someone previously stated, Im for backing the troops, not backing the cause.

The mystery behind Mystery Eggs
For those of you that are wondering what neopets is. It's actually a fun virtual pet site, just like thos tomagotchis back in 94-97 (dont know the exact year). You can earn Np (Neopoints) by doing games or selling items etc etc. Its actually very addictive and yes i play it (Mainly to take a break from runescape, its a great stress reliever).
