I came back when I reached up to a point where I just had nothing else to do. I took plenty of breaks and went on and off at times but now I think I'm genuinely leaving for good since theres more mmorpgs out there. After playing for 7 years, I think my time in Runescape is over. I can't imagine playing any longer especially when Jagex is constantly changing the game for the worse.

Me neither. I'm all up for pretty looking girls but I think Emma is way too overrated.

No. The truth is we see way too many threads like this one. That is how threads end up turning into "daft ideas".

I've never had any traces of problems speaking to the public. Heck, I kind of like it since it makes me feel more important. Anyhoo, it helps to maybe think of depressing moments when overcoming this situation, then your mind won't become so engaged in this fear.

I've heard farm running is very good. If you're like me, who's lazy and doesn't want to play so much to make money, try lending items (specifically godswords, claws and phats) including offering assistance for a sum of gp. You can average 2m a day AND you can also maybe work for a few bit to increase your income. I've saved a ton of money just lending my phat and eventually worked my way up from upgrading my green to a red mask plus a couple mill gp to host a nice drop party. ^^

The lower rares are going off like rockets. I am seeing people advertising a purchasing price of 160mil for Santas. I dont think that enough people would stop playing to cause this. What could? What is? Lemme say this again. I think it's because people are "taking off" on Runescape, notably the rich and high lvl players because of Jagex's recent tendency to ignore the playerbase and causing more loyal players to quit. These quitters are bailing out by selling all their content in their bank for rares to use as a long term investment. Suffice to say their plans are working quite well. I've quit due to the exact same reason. Sold out everything in my bank to buy a red mask and santa. Made well over 80m in less than a month. I cannot say any less to how much I made with my phat. Another possible explanation are the bots. Making lots of gold and being able to purchase millions without hard work may cause these lower rares to skyrocket. Massive demand for these lower rares may originate from RWTers. Lastly, I think the reason why these rares have gone up so high is simply because of the price. Is a purple hat really worth 2 mask sets + a couple santas? The extreme low price ratio of masks/santas to phats means the rich players are probably turning to masks and santas to use as a reliable investment.

How much money did you start with? Its a pretty great time to quit anyway, because of bf3, mw3, saints row 3, skyrim, hitman. etc Just take a pick of a game that takes your fancy and yeah :D Youll never think back to rs battlefield 3 is what I'm going to quit for. I quit for Dragon Nest. :thumbup: Very fun game. I never even went back into Runescape the moment I started playing it.

Now you see why this guy loves his job. How many other managers would just love to kick someone's ass for harassing his employees? This guy has just that opportunity. He's not stupid, he's an opportunist. If he really loved his job, he should of used ancients/claws.

If my mom and/or dad was in a critical condition and only I was there to save their lives, I would not just try to save them, I would give up my life if necessary because I wouldn't even exist if it weren't for them and since they: 1. Took care of me for almost my entire life 2. Saved my life more than 10 times before I turned 5, and 3. Are the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD who wants whats best for me. This is not only true to me, but probably like 90-99.999...% of people in the world who HAVE parents.

I got an idea! Lets make anniversary thread about every single war, revolutions, genocides, natural disasters, rebellions, terrorist attacks, everything! Families are still mourning about it, over millions of lives were lost and it marked a piece of our history am I right? How come Sept 11 which only lost 2,900 people is more special here compared to the holocaust which lost ~12 million people? Why oh why... :rolleyes:

That sucks dude. My friend brought a knife to school every day and never got caught. I'm pretty sure my teacher saw it too. Why would he bring a knife to school everyday? I'm kind of skeptical about that one.

Or you can work for it back like I did when I was tampled on FOUR times after I started playing. When I meant trampled, I mean losing your whole bank, acc, stats, everything. Lost anywhere from 1.2m (which was a lot back then) to a green mask-santa hat. (16-19m) Since making money has never been easier, I'm pretty sure you'll have no problem making at least 100m to get you started.

Wish I can say the same. <_< Ever since college, I literally have to cram my time to make room for this game and this forum. I would still play since RS has never affected my grades to begin with but it's that I can't keep on playing it since there's nothing to do now that I have billions of gp, every of my skills are no fun, and no content that I can enjoy. I can safely say that I've beaten this game until there was nothing left for me. I know I have so much more to do but I can't continue grinding all my skills since it's just not fun anymore. I'm thinking of quit playing games altogether and find a new hobby like trying to lose weight or focus on my major. Prob not going to happen but it's worth trying. :) My routine keeps me busy enough to not even think about Runescape for days. I usually watch Youtube videos, look up wikipedia articles, search google images, watch/read the news, study for quizzes and exams, and other things. The best part about my life is not having any relationships...since I can save money, time and esp freedom. :shades:

ALL degradeables lower if you are engaged in any combat activity. The rate is same for both single and multi.
