Now if only they upgrade castle wars the year will be complete for me. Barbarian assault is my favourite minigame! I already had full penance and lv 5 in all roles before this update and just got the trident and enough points to get all of the coloured whips later if i feel like it. I like the look of the white whip though. I've been hearing alot of people complaining about how horrible the new set effect for full penance is and i don't understand why they say that. Right now i'm just no lifing thieving at master farmers getting seeds for farm and trying to get 82 thief for the ardy eliet diary and the penance gear saves a ton of food. All i need to do is put on redemption every time i get near 10% health and by the time i'm down that low again i'll have more prayer from the armour. Basically i never have to leave. it would also be good for agility but thats all that i can think of at the moment. sure its not that useful but it's the first set effect we've gotten that can actually be used for something other than combat.

What i would like would be for 2 or 3 manageries instead of one then you could have different habitats for each pet. Right now what i'm doing is i have my managerie in my dungeon with volcanoe habitat with all of the slayer pets, eek, zammy bird, ex ex parrot, and a mean phoenix just to add some creepy crawlies to the dungeon. but it would be nice to have one i could put upstairs so i could show off the rest of my pets.

I thought Red Cross was nonprofit/volunteers... Their not. They may take on some volunteers but the majority of the orginisation is full time employees. Unfortunatly I am one of those employees because this dumb province apparently thinks that the lifesaving societies standards for life guards and swimming instructors are not good enough. (i hate that of all the provinces we had to move to my parents picked the one where i can't get a darn job despite being an instructor for 3 yrs!). And they have offices in most major cities that are fully staffed and only part of their income is generated by courses that they offer for first aid training and lifeguard/instructor training. In the end it is not enough to fully pay their employees because the majority of Canada considers the life saving society to be better then the red cross offered programs. My dad also has experiance with the red cross because he was part of the last canadian relief effort that went to hati and was also here in winnipeg durring the last big flood. He and alot of his unit were not impressed with how the red cross operated. Some of the stories he has to tell are of how the red cross was getting full course meals, refusing to work during some of the heavier rain, and some of them were even staying at what hotels were still open.All of this of course requires money. And meanwhile the military units were out day and night filling sand bags, sleeping in tents, eating MRE's, ect.

Sad is really all that i can say on this. But if anyone is thinking of donating money to help with the relief effort don't use the red cross, use either an entirly volunteer program or a government sponsered one. With anything els little money actually gets to haiti because the wages of their employees are paid from the donations.

Finally beat it! It was on my very last run of the day. My set up was helm--> void melee ammy--> glory top--->void bottom--->void boots---->d boots shield----> rune defender weapon---->wip cape----> defense (t) ring------> warrior gloves----> void ammo---->none inventory excaliber enhanced 3 prayer potion (4) uni scrolls rest rock tails tortoise 17 rock tails and unicorn pouch at the end The reason why i didn't bring any bolts was because they didn't do much damage when he has you frozen so instead i used most of that time for healling and it kept me an extra rocktail space. basic stratagy. before you go in bank and take a sip of a super set then store the dosses you have left and fill with food. when he lays his mines you do not have to immediatly go behind the pillar. instead watch carefully and their will be a periode where he doesn't attack you. thats when you book it being careful not to hit the mines. a few seconds after he stops attacking he taunts you and then starts charging up his attack as your behind the pillar equip excalliber and use spec so you can keep your defense high and heal. nothing els fancy about it just keep wacking him with a wip. then when tort is empty uni pouch should be in your inventory and quickly dismiss tort and switch to uni. i also kept piety and pro melee on. it does seem to help a little bit compared to my other runs but just might be luck and nothing to do with actually lessening the damage you take.

The boss is darn overkill! I'm not complaining really because i havn't had this much fun doing a quest in a long time but they just made him to powerful. Most of the people who've i've seen do it either were extremely lucky or had turmoil/soul split. Its almost imposible to get him any other way. Going on my 8th trip now, i've tried brews, rocks, range, gs, wip, and spent almost 3m so far. He just won't die! There are three things they could do. #1 make it so mage pray won't fully block his 98 spec attack but at least reduce it to half. #2 when he clones make one that is slightly different then the others so its not just based blindly on luck and #3, this one really annoys me, stop him from fully healing if you are behind a pillar! I was so close to killing him had him down to 1/5 after his heal, only to lag and go behind a pillar so i wouldn't die. When my con got restored guess what. full health and me with only 6 brews left! Have him heal faster then normal or something but just jumping right to full makes him impossible for anyone will a ban connection. for thos interested I have found a good ranging stratagy but it takes great timeing. He only heals after he shout for the third time "face me" so in that time you can go behind a pillar heal up. When tort is empty switch to an uni and go behind the pillar to heal so you don't waste combat time. But if you lag then its pretty much game over. Tomrrow i'm gonna see if i can get a z spear loan and hope that some super rests sell. until then have fun trying to beat him.
