its a cheap game, if nothing else get ptp for the less crowded and sometimes empty spots. do some agility while you are doing the 1 month test, then if you don't like and go back, yr run will last a lil while longer. i got ptp the first day it was released and apart from a 5 month break to play WoW i have been a satisfied rs player (with the odd hiccup) ever since. i would quit playing before i went back to ftp seriously

I don't know about that, it seems slightly hippocritical (Yup, I can't spell. Plus I like Hippo's.) to me. You say you wear it 'for the looks' yet complain when you have to suffer the consequence of the looks. I don't think many people dress themselves up for any personal benefit, rather they dress up for the effect it has on others, and the possible boost to self esteem found therein. Essentially, showing off. You can't have your cake and eat it. If your going to look good - Your going to attract attention. ^_^ - Gid. its is a great looking cape, why shouldn't i wear it when doing things in game? why should i haveto look at a char that looks weird (without skill cape my char doesn't look as nice). and surely if i have clicked enough times to enable to right to wear that cape, i should have the right to wear it without being hastled every 5 mins? i wear the cape for 100% my pleasure, not for joe bloggs off the street who feels they have a right to see the emote. there's vid's for that....

i hate being asked for my emote... 99 theiveing here, and i wear the cape for the looks basically. plus i housed my other capes, so its the only cape i have in bank atm. but it annoys me that i should feel obliged to take time just to show it off, there are plenty of vid's around for people to look at the emote (thats what i did to see them all) i will only do it if a) the person is very polite, and B) i am in the mood to be nice (which is rare hehe)

there is a certain tipit mod that collects hammers :-w :-$

makes you think that there's something wrong with the game, when there are so many logs in the stores... and they still get away with autoing more and more...

i treat everyone the same way ( mostly not even paying attention to the chat) but if i do chat to people, i treat everyone the same. crown or no crown, its still a person behind the pixels.. i even friendly cuss one of the mods down frequently, but he does the same to me and no offense has been taken by either side, he's a human like i am( at least that what he says, you can't be certain these days) at the end of the day as some have said, as long as you are not breaking the rules don't worry....

there are quite a few on some sites like youtube and such like....

i am 99 theiving, and got it way before the pyramid was released so i cannot give you any advice on that. i have heard it is great xp tho. for me i did the npc's that would give me things in return. for example i theived the pallies (at lvl 70) cuz at the time it was the quickest way for me to get chaos's from 90 - 99 i simply did hero's and master farmers(you can do the master farmers at your level). i kept the seeds (and gave some away, but you could sell?). and used the stuff from hero's to further crafting etc. the farmers are left click too, which means no idiot can come along and kill that npc you have worked items out of for the past half hour or so (thats gotta be a good thing surely?) for hero's (would work for any npc in ardy) i used the cake stall as food and just kept at it till i was full,bank and repeat. good luck, and a word of warning. don't do any skill if it is boring. no point in playing a game if its not fun imo :thumbsup:

well i actually got my first big shark head this week and they was released in june? 5 months of fishing to get it. stupid low odds :wall: :wall:

i can see why it is there. its a chat room, and if you have no intention of chatting, unless you are running a usefull script i see no reason as to why you should idle for hours upon hours(a few hours is ok, i'm talking about 20+) the question on my lips is why are you in a chat room if you are at school/work etc. i leave irc if i plan on being away for a time.if i can i see no reason why anyone else can't. i feel that people who idle there are only there to "spy", and as a result i will kb excessive idlers. just my 2 cents. i do not know what the excact idle rule is now off the top of my head(not in irc so i can't see the rules atm) but i know ops are kicking at 12+ atm. the only way of getting the final word on this is to get clarification off lightning/silverion....

for some reason i'm forever being asked if i am a male in irc... but for the whole of my life i've been known as a thing called a female. :thumbsup: many have heard of this species, who seem to be good at nagging.... but of course i don't do that.... :mrgreen:

there used to be a ice rink in town, down by the chinese quarter.. why not go around the licky hills? some good bike tracks around there or drayton mannor? theres a travel west midlands bus from outside snowhill station that takes you- think they go to alton towers too

i hit the backspace alot, so i use the runescape officail client. as its a completely seperate thing compared to opera etc, i don't backspace out accidently

i go through fazes where i hate rs, and other games seem more fun. i just cancel ptp, and go play what i fancy. just take a break, and keep your junk. the appeal may come back to you
