  1. When they say "Holiday Season" do they mean the upcoming Easter holiday or Christmas? Don't get me wrong, the announcement of Portal 2 is almost as epic as Episode 3, but I'd hate getting my hopes up only for it to be released at Christmas.
  2. Unless anyone of us are masters of any form of combat, I'd say an extreme amount of luck is required in order to win the battle. I'll be honest, if I'm forced to fight a rabid animal my size with no way of escaping, I'd most likely not bother about strategies and start swinging my fists and legs and hope for a hit. It's not like I'd be calm enough to evade it's attacks, ascend its back and start choking the life out of it. Hell, I'd rather punch an animal rather than poke it's eyes. I think I'd be able to beat a dog and (with alot of luck) a miniature bear my size. Of course if I could cheat and totally be a wuss, I'd fight an overgrown rabbit.

  4. So we should let these things happen because thats just how it is? It's pretty much impossible to solve as a single person. No matter how much effort you put in, there's always going to be alot more that will continue the "trend" of popularity while many others simply ignore and mind their own business.

I don't know if it's me, but throughout the battle I was constantly supporting the human race and had really hoped that they would've won. I mean, it's pretty obvious that the humans would be completely overwhelmed by a spritual force and I knew that, but there was that glimpse of hope that majority of the damage could be done before the humans lost.
  6. A classmate of mine actually did it and it ended really bad for him (Although it was completely humorous to me) He basically sent a picture of his junk to his girlfriend but somehow managed to send it to another girl instead. This girl had a boyfriend and the couple threatened to send the picture to the police. How did they settle this matter? My classmate agreed to get punched by the girl's boyfriend several times without defending in exchange for deleting the picture. The worst part was that my classmate was 1 year older than the guy who punched him.
  7. I must say that I am really thankful for not having been bullied up to that extent. I did used to get bullied by 2 guys in class but it was to a much smaller extent and I think my ego pretty much saved me. Whatever insults/paper balls that were hurled towards me were quickly brushed aside as all I was thinking in my mind was that if they ever physically bullied me, I'd be able to easily hurt them back many times more. So I ignored them and soon enough they stopped, we're actually friends now. I admit, I complain a hell lot. I'm not really a fan of bottling up emotions in me, whatever that happened in school/work that made me unhappy I would usually complain to a friend or family member and I would always think the same thing as mentioned above. I may be a real egomaniac and this might lead to a serious problem down the road, but it's been working for me so far and I'm very happy with life right now.
  8. I admit I got the last question wrong. Feel free to laugh at my expense
  9. My most common one would be to watch television in the afternoon (There has to be sunlight, night time is no good) and lay on the sofa staring at the ceiling when a show ends while waiting for the next to start.
  10. It will end eventually, but I feel that we will still have Runescape for many years to come. Like the above poster said, the number of people joining the game outnumbers the amount that quits. It's like the next generation of Runescape that keeps passing down. It's true that although at one point, the updates will be so limited to the 99 cap that there is nothing more that they can do. That is where the higher levels will quit and the "next generation" will step up and so fourth. I believe this cycle will continue until the day technoloy becomes so advanced that we have no use for computers anymore, but I'll be dead by then so meh..
  11. I really do applaud Jagex for taking such actions, but truth be told, a part of me is really curious to know if Jagex would've called all the way to Asia in Singapore should someone here did such an action. But if the person was really serious about committing suicide, wouldn't the attempt be useless? Half an hour to an hour is more than enough to kill yourself and the police would simply find a dead body. I once read that a man successfully chainsawed his own head off.
  12. I seem to notice that you complain alot at newer quests saying how they're not "up to par" yet you still seem to use guides when doing them. Alright so maybe this quest didn't really require much of a guide, but if you have a boss who has skills never before seen in Runescape I'm pretty sure it can be considered grandmaster. Go do the [bleep] quest and stop complaining.
  13. Don't forget bloating up their cheeks. Also, I find it pretty annoying how some people act completely emotional online and constantly post stuff like "Don't leave me forever" etc. as if their life was a drama series. Those stuff never happen in real life, it's not cool neither..
  14. It's not, but when you do it constantly for 5 years.. something's clearly not right here. I have to say that I'm against this, why would you recognise someone for "no-lifing" a game for 5 years? Of course, if the situation is different, then I take back my words.
  15. Like a few mentioned, do the Wildy Course. You can play for say 3 hours a day and I guarantee that you'll level up each day. Remember to find a populated world due to the Revs, if you're lucky you can gang with some of them to pile the Rev. It's pretty fast exp.
  16. I didn't make the list... Oh well, less than 24 hours til we find out if this is truely real or fake.
  17. I don't even think the Mayans had in mind that the world would end in 2012. It's just a bunch of people who had nothing better to do, realize that the calender was unfinished and proclaimed that the Mayans had intended that the world would end in 2012.
  18. Wear a God Cape. That +10 magic att bonus is more useful than any prayer bonus another cape provides. I simply wore Veracs throughout the entire fight. When I was required to ranged, I switched to my Crystal Bow and my ranged bonus was +100, when I was required to mage, I equiped an Ancient Staff and I had a +11 magic bonus, which was enough. The mother will, on average change it's colours after 2 "high" hits unless the attack came from the Balmung, in that case she will change colours immediately after the first "high" hit. My other gears were: Helm of Neit Fury Ammy Dragon Boots Barrow Gloves I did not equip anything in the ring, shield nor arrow slot. Tip.It's guide says to pray protect ranged throughout, but that only killed me within the first minutes. I retried the battle with the same equipment only with "Deflect Maged" curse switched on throughout and the battle was a breeze. For me it was the magic spells that did most of the damage, while ranged having that occasional good hit or so. The Balmung was too slow and inaccurate to be useful. I'd advise not to switch your armour throughout the battle as the mother switches after every 2 "high" hits and it will get confusing. Simply switching your weapons with a reasonable bonus is more than enough to slay her. You'd be pretty busy during the battle so I suggest sticking with protect magic throughout (Barrows provide a very good melee/ranged defence of 210+)
  19. I'm skinny, but I move slowly. I'm rarely in any hurry to get somewhere, so I'm going to enjoy my time getting there. There's a slight difference. It's okay when you're enjoying yourself alone, but when you (and your girlfriend/boyfriend) walk so slowly, completely oblivious to the crowd behind you, that's where it gets annoying.
  20. When they say "black" weapons, they are referring to the metal itself, not the colour. In Runescape, "Black" is a metal.
  21. This, just the thought it it can bring me down to my knees. Also slow people, I understand it if their overweight and stuff but when it's a skinny couple walking as slow as a snail, I get very annoyed.
  22. Self-explainatory Edit: That picture size didn't come out the way I had hoped. Fixed it for you :) ~ Jimmy_Jim
  23. Just completed the quest and I must say, it is not as tough as some of you put it to be.. of course I did use Tip.It's guide. Escorting King Vargas wasn't really a problem, there was really only one map that the Dags would attack him and that was only like 3, which I easily disposed with the Balmung. The rest was rather easy as the Rock Lobsters do not attack him. I wore Veracs, turned on "Deflect Melee" and took a rather easy walk out. The Sentinels were not very tough, it just took some time to kill them as the Balmung isn't as accurate as some other weapons. I stood inbetween them and alternated after every "high" damage. I only died once to the Mother after following Tip.It's guide of activating "Deflect Ranged" throughout the battle. My health drained to zero before I could rid 1/4 of its. The 2nd time round, I decided to active "Deflect Magic" and the Mother hardly damaged me, my War Tortise wasn't much help in terms of extra food. With a magic bonus of +11, I hit it fairly well and my crystal bow didn't disappoint me neither. Only thing that disappointed me was how inaccurate the Balmung was. Of course, some may lash at me saying that I used a guide but meh..
  24. Stupid fremmy diaries, now I gotta go kill a mith dragon. Was looking forward to a war..
  25. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember the Bible saying that all non-Christians will not go to heaven when they die.
