Level 3 Clues - Too Much for Too Little?
dark1wraith replied to Turnpike's topic in General Discussion
In my view, clues are a waste of time, a fun waste of time \ Dax has the right idea. Now, i have to admit that i'm not exactly happy when i have to do Uri's emote clues as i then have to go buy or make the items and it usually costs me more than i make from the clue, and it takes up bankspace because i keep them so i don't have to buy them again. thus i completely despise emote clues. For example yesterday i did a level 2 clue and i had to buy the snakeskin to make snakeskin chaps (because snakeskin chaps don't sell on the grand exchange) which cost me 30k and the reward was worth 12k. Even with that I've gotten a guthix platebody, so if you do enough clues it all evens out. I do every clue i get, as soon as i can because i enjoy them, the reward is just an incentive. -
Weekly Poll: Satisfied with the Halloween event and quest?
dark1wraith replied to n_odie's topic in General Discussion
I voted "They're both great!" I enjoyed the puzzles in the quest, alot, they were easy enough that they weren't a pain. The only thing i disliked was going to every npc and still not getting enough of every candy the first time round (i got a ton of corn balls but few wrapped candies, and had to go back again to some npc's) my first thought was "oh, they finally made something orange to wear" -
How horrible :o . When people do stuff like this it gets me all worried. What an awful thing to do to yourself you stupid girl. I've done dumb things when i was bored but this takes the cake. I hope your ok, and that it doesn't harm you at all. hmm weirdest thing i've eaten since i was old enough to know better is a live cricket. When i was too young to know any better i at lots of bad things. I learned dirt don't taste good. I you, stupid.

good so far, keep working on it. you could keep track of tasks or rare drops, and at least put what all your stats are? bank pics are nice too...but, w/e ^_^ to post pics i press print screen + paste into paint & save + use imageshack (just look it up) to upload, then use At both ends (without the spaces). (yes, I'm nerdy)

thanks that helps, warrior ring is going way down, but i think i'll buy it anyway + bandos + fury ty very much p.s. the reason i don't use veracks is the repair cost, which is the whole reason I'm buying bandos.
-
So, I have 15 mil Im willing to spend right now (the rest is in mtk), and I would rather not see it just sit in my bank but Im not sure what I should buy. I want to get something that is useful, wont deprecate in cost too much, and something people would like to be lent. I do have a list of things I would like to buy but I cant afford them all: Bandos chestplate 11.3m Fury amulet 2.5m Saradomin sword 7.2m Ranger boots 4.1m Warrior ring 214.8k Dragon axe (for woodcutting) 1.6m Repair crystal bow 900k i can't think of anything else but i might be missing something... suggestions? FYI: I mostly only train combat with slayer, with Cheldar for most tasks. I currently use for melee: whip, rune defender, slayer helm, glory amulet, dragon boots, pray/obsidian cape, barrows gloves, granite platebody, dragon legs, and I have full guthans but I never use it. I have full void, a rune crossbow, snakeskin boots, and a (unblessed) spirit shield for range. The bandos plate is the main thing I want to get but I wonder if its worth using instead of paying for barrows repairs. The saradomin sword seems like a good weapon but people tell me the whip is faster exp for attack, if thats true I should probably stick with my whip. Should I bother repairing my crystal bow? I will need to if I ever attempt fight caves I think, but otherwise I wont use it.

which is faster experience, mining metors or like sandstone? for metors assume it takes 5 mins to find, and your not first.

3 Point Man / Paranoia ~~ :)
dark1wraith replied to 3PointMan's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
so i herd you love rc  nice pointy blog and gl on your skills =] get both 80 range and crafting -
The first two are so dark... but i see real potential in your writings. You use so much description and in places it seems to flow naturally but it seems as if you are trying to over excel and be something else, the feeling is there, but crowded by words you don't feel. either that or i'm full of bs, probably the second. Anyways, keep it up  i would love to hear more, even if they are so dreary and violent.

October 15th 2008 - PVP Worlds + Game Log In Improvements
dark1wraith replied to darkjab's topic in General Discussion
with PVP all they did is give us back somthing big that they took away, but in a bigger force (all over runescape?) I see this as a good thing and it will make a lot of people really happy. as for the rest of the updates? all good in my opinion, especially the purple for chats as this will allow for better fighting as a group or allow for me to see people not on my friends list but still in my chat. overall  and i'm going to have to disagree with den on the level it now shows, yes it is ugly but really it's better because now i can see both my f2p and my p2p levels and summoning really isn't a combat stat untill you get to the higher levels because low level summons do so little damage. what this allows is for people to train summoning and still be "pures" -
no idea how this happened and it was only there for a min, no i did not do it myself (i only have 54 summoning lol)
-
even if they made white dragons (which they won't) you will never be able to craft 3rd age armor, jajex knows that would upset players, and besides it would require level 9000 crafting  .

I'm not sure if it counts as cosplay but uh, here's some batman charaters: from left to right, top to bottom: the riddler, batman, robin, the joker. I'm not happy with the way batman turned out though

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!

epic canineteeth. good thing runescape doesn't change based on how we treat it, because if it did, well, the whole place would be burnt down by people with 99 firemaking lol -
Where would you be in life without Runescape?
dark1wraith replied to Dean Ambrose's topic in General Discussion
I'd be playing a different videogame, honestly. but if i were to forgo videogames entirely i'd be in better shape, have somewhat better grades and be bored stiff. -

your a good noob =] 8/10 dead kittens for uh... noobishness (this is awesome for a pure...) -
Oh man i don't know what i would do without friends on rs. I would probably have died of boredom when doing certain skills. Friends are what makes runescape, sure skills can be fun and there are mini-games or whatever, but really i go on runescape to chat. Hmm what makes a good friend? Someone who will talk to you without being asked, someone who wants to hang out with you, someone who does things for you without expecting anything in return, and who will never turn on you and stab you in the back. How do i view yourself a good friend to others? uhh... i hang out with them i guess? i don't pay attention to how i am a good friend i pay more attention to my friends.... I can be kind of random/annoying sometimes actually... well, i guess it's because i try. I always try to reach out to my friends, always greet them with a "hi" first, and always try to help them. I even try to stay connected with a few friends that have quit rs, through msn. What would you do for a friend that you met on RS? That entirely depends on how long i've known them and how nice they are to me. I'd be willing to give most of my friends in rs pixel money, or lend them my items for free, but for like one or two of my friends i'd be willing to give up my account and start over. but much more importantly i would be there for them when they are feeling bad (such as breakups with bf/gf). What do you think a friend would do for you? Give words of advise when i need them, keep me entertained, and make me feel better when i am feeling bad. Even as much as i trust my friends i realize that i don't really know them, I only know how they present themselves over the internet, and as such i do not give out my name or personal info to anyone (except the people i know from real life). As a side note, it's important to have real life friends too, and not neglect them due to runescape.

2nd of September 2008: Distractions and Diversions
dark1wraith replied to Were's topic in General Discussion
  for the metors. good update to mining and i think mining needed an update cuz there was no mining mini-game or anything untill now, it's great to do with a group of friends too :D (the mining extra ores reward is WONDERFULL!, at least at 85+ mining...) i agree with smavey on the penguins but, i can see why people would just go looking for them... besides that, acrobat cloths are uuugly :-# -
The return of Muffin Maddy

luv the gymnopedie, nice song. -
 lol i think you answered your own question, tele grab mage wine, it's ok cash. or you could get in a few alchs while waiting for yew trees to respawn, that is if you have the woodcutting level, however when i was f2p most of the time i alched i just hung around at the ge or the duel arena and talked to people so i didn't get bored.

The black mark degrading thing should be for everyone... Your willing to forgive someone of macroing multiple times but not letting someones tongue slip in castle wars? real macros should never get black marks taken off. If they are working on a system they will probably exclude macros.

From testing it out it seems that you do not get more points for putting peaches in the chute, only for for every 16 fruit put in regardless of which, however peaches heal 8 where bananas only heal 2, so cast bones to bananas for putting in the chute and cast peaches for eating

12 Aug 2008 - Runecrafting Guild and Game - For All Players!
dark1wraith replied to namename's topic in General Discussion
The great orb project is a fun game with good rewards.... that is horribly unbalanced. I like the actual game it's a fun way to train runecrafting but yellow nearly always wins. There is skill involved and numbers but yellow almost always wins because the yellow orbs seem to be closer, more common and in better spots than the green (as well as being larger) and because yellow wins so often, everyone tries to go to the yellow team and the people on green drop out making it near-impossible to get on the yellow team, making you wait for what seems like an eternity if you are trying to get on yellow team, plus the wait for the next game to start plus more waiting if you lag out. -
I like the actual game, moving orbs and competing but it's just so unfair, the yellow spawns are so easy to get and many more so everyone joins yellow, and the people on green drop out. this makes it so it's near-impossible to get on the yellow team it's total bs, this game could not be more unfair (unless green team wasn't allowed to use their wands at all  ) skill has some part in it but mostly it's all in the numbers and being on yellow, the more people you have the more likely you are to win, but even so, yellow can still win. and then worst of all, there is the waiting. it takes forever for a game to start and if you log out accidentally or lag or something you have to wait even longer. you have to wait extra long if you are trying to get on yellow team too. if i am wasting my time, being bored waiting, i'm better off just runecrafting the normal way. overall a good game ruined by the unfairness of it all.
