There is still demand for a good artist. I would suggest learning some more technical art skills (photoshop, or illistrator), but definitely work on an art portfolio. I don't think you should write it off. If you are talented there is an entire world with industries who need good artists. As far as finances go, perhaps you have to do a bit of work yourself. That may include exploring bigger cities where artistic talent is needed. Maybe contact some colleges to see what kind of financial aid you can get (I am not sure what country you are from, but in the U.S. you can get some decent loans and scholarships to take care of most of what you need provided you have decent grades). Worst case scenario you work a job while attending college to support yourself.

Laws don't stop things from happening. Drugs are illegal, but you can usually easily find anything up to coke on most urban middle schools. You can ban guns, but that won't stop people from using them. Also we have no idea who the shooter was at the moment. Don't assume it was some maniac shooting up people. The article states the cop was shot at a traffic stop, I would suspect they had something in their car they didn't want the cops to know about. It sounds like a coincidence it was at V tech. I am just saying there is a difference between a drug dealer shooting a cop because he doesn't want to be caught (of course that's just a guess on the motivation of the suspect on my part), and a mentally troubled youth shotting up over 50 people at a school. Also, read my edit, I think Chicago is a good example of gun laws having nothing to do with crime/murder rates. And there is a clear correlation between gun crime and gun control laws when comparing on an international level. I don't think Chicago having tighter laws can be taken as a good example because its not like there's a national border where they'd pick up via x-ray etc you have a gun so "smuggling" in from other US areas would be easy as heck; and things vary from city to city everywhere it does depend on the culture of that place. No doubt tighter gun laws for Chicago stemmed from the murder/gun crime rate in the first place as an attempt to stem it. Even if the entire nation were to get extremely strict gun laws, I doubt there would be much of an affect on murder rate anyway. Just as Sir Squab has said, U.S. already has so many guns. Laws now would not likely change anything. This country has a differently mentality with guns. Many people feel it is their right (well that's also because it is), and to take away their guns is to take away their freedom. And then we would have the problem with people smuggling guns from Mexico. Which at the moment isn't much of a problem when you consider the drugs that are smuggled through. I am not saying in theory Gun laws fail. I am saying in practice they will.

Yeah there is that too... some urban schools/neighborhoods have this quite often but it doesn't even make the evening news. Or in the case that it does, it blows over within a day and is just labeled gang violence, and no one cares anymore :cry: .

Edit: I would also like to add that for a very long time, it was very hard to obtain a gun in Chicago, yet we have had the highest murder rate in the U.S.. There are many other factors contributing to killings. Also to compare murder rates of US to UK is, I think, a little skewed. You have around 65 million there, we have over 300 million here. I would expect us to have a higher rate, simply because we have more people.

Seems like a different type of "shooting" since it was a cop that was shot during the traffic stop. Still horrible though. Hopefully the shooter is caught soon.

I had T1 salvation and when i bought T2, it was unequipped and replaced by my T2 salvation.

Compare cheats to burglars, you don't have to have a perfect lock on your door, just a better one than your neighbors have :-) Not the best comparison. Remember, your neighbors house has to have something worth taking (idiots paying money for gp or bot programs) in addition to having weak locks. Remind me again why idiots are paying $500 for 1 billion gp currency for a game where people moaned about a price raise from $5 to $6 a month? I get botting for levels and gathering, but actually paying 10x what a five year subscription would cost? Sorry, not getting it. Big gold sellers buy bulk gold. Then they turn it around and sell it for slightly higher for a profit. But when they do re sell that gold, they typically sell for much smaller amounts. 20mil here, 100mil there, so it's usually not people dropping that much money at once. Also we can't let the words of some represent the words of all. Some people complained about membership prices, but that doesn't mean everyone really cared. And don't forget some people just complain about everything :thumbsup:

Well for example if someone were to hack a fansite, see that you post pictures with your account and choose you as a target. Then use the email you use to log into the forum as a login name for rs. Obviously using that rs email for the fansite as well wouldn't be a very safe idea for said user, but typically people get hacked from slip ups just like that. There are plenty of people who use the same emails/passwords for everything. But yes it would increase account security a lot. The problem is most people are not very aware of account/internet security until it is too late. Especially when you look at how free rs is (all things considered you can sign up and play from just about anywhere at anytime and have a large "casual" userbase) i see only a minority taking security seriously. There would also be ways of luring people into emailing them. Now if you only used that email for rs you could be very safe. But i don't think that would be a very likely scenario for most rs users (or internet users).

If you are at least semi active you are fine. That' is more of a concern for people who stop playing for long periods of time. Also with that info alone they usually won't get the account. If you don't go around responding to random emails you get from them (they can find your ip from that and then guess what isp company you used to create the account) you are also doing yourself a favor. I would make sure your email is secure though. Gmail is nice because you can have it linked to phone numbers and have them text you reset passwords in case it gets compromised. Sadly recovery questions don't seem to really lock down the security of your account but they can help. Just keep info like creation date, previous passwords, isp that you created the account/last used, have your email linked to your account, have recovery questions set, log in a 2 times a week and your will be pretty safe.

A lot of it is from people recovering accounts. Various groups hack websites and get their databases (fansites and forums are big targets specifically older ones). Someone got a hold of an older version of tip.its database. Also they go around the runescape classic forum on here and pick out names (because most likely the don't still play). If you are on damage incorporated they got hacked i think the beginning out august and their database was up for sale not too long ago. Also even when the passwords are encrypted if you have an semi easy password there are ways of "decrypting it" or at least having a website go through combos of passwords such as md5 and you can just search it on there http://www.md5decrypter.co.uk/. Some bad language but you can see he has tip.its database [hide] [/hide] And anyone who spends 5 minutes on pastebin can find loads of userbase dumps for rs accounts. All of this info people post about themselves is just helpful for people trying to steal their account. The most valuable parts being the creation date(all the hacking sites have links to tip.its threads where you post when you started playing) and first password(which is usually easy to guess because most people who played back then had an easy password, or even search the 100 most used passwords).

I LOVE the processing. You achieved a very dramatic look, and i think the images work together. I am not so sure they convey the theme entirely. If i were to just look at the pictures without reading your post i understand religion is somewhere in there, but i am not getting the feeling of questioning it.

It's usually mods who are in competing dicing groups that mute them. You can easily see people dicing every day and nothing happens to them. And dicing does nothing to the economy lol. Where did you get that from?

I don't even a transformers mmo being too popular anyway. Are there really that many people that want to play it :blink: . I like transformers and everything, but it seems the least fitting franchise to be an mmo in my eyes. Maybe if they released this near the release of the film you would have hype and people jumping on board.

I liked your old one, nice and clean looking. But i have to say the new one is great as well. The only thing i don't like is the bottom of the clouds for the home and gallary buttons look a bit odd flat. It seemed to work for your old version but the newer one having more detail seems weird. Overall excellent work though.
