I get called a stuck up high level all the time... but if I feel like arguing that ever I make sure to let 'em know I was just as stuck up at level 70... I use what little time I have on RS (well, used to have more but now little) to enjoy myself and relax, not play 21 questions with people I run into. I tried to be nice and social before, and answer questions if I could, but that always leads to more questions and/or begging... If not that, then the people try to bug you to buy/sell stuff you have no interest in. Just the other day some kid I don't know PMed me when I turned chat on "Hey you sell ranarr weeds 6k each?" Seriously, why would somebody with 8o+ herblore SELL herbs instead of making pots. It just makes me wish people would think about what they're asking before bugging people. So yeah, I get called a jerk all the time for ignoring stupid stuff I see in chat or PMs... nobody's ever grateful for the offers I give for free spots on ignore list.

What is the point of mentioning prayer doing ecto without grinding/getting slime. Making calcs based on that is very misleading. It takes a week (or more) of getting supplies ready just to get a day worth of worshipping. Ecto is only about 40-50k xp/hr if you consider all the time you spend on it, and you get to use the least amount of bones possible. Guilded is 200-250k xp/hr if you ammy tele to Edge from house then tele home to worship again - no strings attached.

^ That would actually increase the supply of robin sets and hence reduce the price.. NOT increase it as you seem to suggest... Yea, as I read Mordendravid's post, I loled in real life because he got it wrong... I didn't know that ranger set went up that much! Too bad I wasn't able to afford one when they were cheap. If you're going to "correct" a person then at least be correct yourself. His logic is correct. In theory, more players are killing monsters for level 3 clues to get third age items, so less level 2 clues are getting done, thus, in theory, less ranger boots are coming into the game. When he is talking about Ranger Boots why tell him he's wrong and discuss Robins? He said nothing about SETS, just boots alone. Even if more players are doing level 3 clues, the Robin was already one of the rare items obtained from them. With the huge slew of new items you can get from level 3 clues (not far from DOUBLE the previous amount of items), more players doing clues does not necessarily lead to more Robins than before. I do disagree with him that less level 2 clues being done would be the ONLY thing to affect prices though. You can't totally discount demand.

At least most of them are really bad at it. The ones who try to do it to me usually end up getting hit worse and leaving. I had 3 attempts on me in the same trip before and the first/last one were the same person who came back after failing the first time.

Fishing is the worst when it comes to idiots/rudeness. To be honest I hate fishing more due to the company than the skill itself. I find if you just ignore them that many will assume you just keep chat off... and keeping chat off or on friends can have its perks too.

I have little pity for people who get lured. It's their own fault for agreeing to trade in the wilderness. If the idiots would force their buyer/seller to come to bank, then they wouldn't get lured.

willows are way better xp and you get more nests than you do while cutting yews. I cut willows for WC and burn yews for FM

a lot of people will fight same dragon in caves simply for a safe spot. If you run around you get dragon attacking you that you DON'T want to kill (steel in his case). I would venture to guess that he's just going for a d leg drop. Autoing them would be FAR easier with magic than melee.

Good luck man! Just ignore the idiots who tell you what you CAN'T do. They're usually wrong. I got a lot of that when I was lower level and I agree with you, it's fun to prove them wrong!

staffs are definitely profitable if you can stand the worldhopping. It's much easier to get the seaweed now than it was back in the day I did it, and all the XP is REALLY nice. Trust me.. Buy/Sell the deaths/bloods while you are hopping for staffs, and that'll help boost your profits. But yes, I would say get yourself to Barrows/DKs/KQ and you can make some decent money faster than skilling. Whatever you do, DON'T do PC... it's such a waste of time... You could make the GP way faster than what you'd save PCing... 250k xp/hr is uncanny! (using glory ammy tele in quest room and tele back to house)

I wouldn't anticipate a HUGE increase in RCing speed any time soon, at least not in terms of how many runes you can make in a given time. While the skill is slow, Jagex undoubtedly doesn't want runes to be TOO inexpensive. Even with the abyss, making runes (without double nats) is only about 15k xp/hr, but if you do natures/deaths that is 400-500k gp/hr you make. If we could make the runes faster then the game would get pretty unbalanced. My guess is that Jagex won't make it much faster unless they create a new rune that won't have nearly as much value as the others, or perhaps some quest item that boosts the xp per ess (high level RCers would scream over this one!). Hard to tell what'll happen since they're in a tough spot to change much.

just a small speculation- If you're going to talk about the top 10% of a skill based on how many players are ranked, and there aren't 1 million ranked, you should really look at just the top 10% based on the number of players ranked instead. So if there were 830k in agility high scores you should look at the top 83k (level 60) and if there are 650k players in the RC high scores, then the top 65k (level 58). I realize the rankings are LISTED up through 1 million, but there just aren't that many ranked. Just my 2ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãââ worth.

The Editor did those interviews because that's what people wanted to read. Interviewing a "normal" person wouldn't get NEARLY the response that interviewing them did. If we did an article called "The Exclusive Sky Ace25 Interview!" not only would it hardly get read in comparison, but we would probably get a lot of feedback saying stuff like "Who is he and why did you interview him?" *note* Sky Ace25 was chosen at random from high scores search PS - If you're gonna ask somebody who did those interviews, you left me out to ask :P but I'm not telling
