i lol'd a bit. you obviously think of rs as work and not a game Mo money, mo betta. alright but explain me this young grasshopper ive been diy';er since i made my account, ~5years ago i average 30k+ xp an hour (just like you) have 1bil + bank now who's better off? me, with pretty much everyhting i could ever need banked, or someone whos busting their ass off trying to get enough cash for turmoil/overloads/claws, etc??? :) of course ill never get to experience having a 30bil + cash pile or multiple rare items, but thats just for bragging rights anyways, and i could care less about rares. on top of all that , i get the ultimate goal of soloing a divine + ely sigil :) @guy wcing mage logs for p ess, just slay, you get 2k-4k p ess per strykeworm task, and mass teak logs from jungle strykes get wc rocks via teak weekly x 30 weeks, thatll be more than enough to last you your cash pile and then some, especially if you're using MTK + summon shards, you're gonna definitly go through cash more than you get it. but you should be more worried about cash, than logs, for construction Since when have I been struggling for turmoil? I got 99 prayer 3.5 years ago. I haven't been member since, and 99 herb will quickly be "achieved" in 4-5 days. My bank is worth more than yours. I have quit for 2.5 years, thus "playing" less than you. I prefer efficiency over aesthetics, and you say phats and rares are for aesthetics, which juxtaposes your counter-argument... What are you trying to say? whats your xp per hour average out to be? 80k, counting the times when I'm online. More than you can say? I sense stinginess.

What do YOU do in F2P? I honestly can not do any skills, for they are exploited to all hell with lazerbeam bots. I just do Rune DMs in Edgy High risk, most people my level are honourable. Pretty fun. (DON'T FREAKIN AUTOBAN THIS TO GRAVEYARD FFS) <3 So, how do YOU pass time in F2P? Interested to know. And yes, I'm a professional troll, please refrain from all the praise you guys give to me. Let's assume it takes 5 minutes (best case scenario) to read the appeal, reply to it, and move on to the next one. That would be 20 appeals/ hour. Divide that by 100,000 bots, gets you 5,000 man hours. If this support staff is making $15 an hour (which is likely low), that's $75,000 spent on employee wages alone. If any of those accounts are members, Jagex loses up to $600,000 on those as well. So yes, Jagex is a business, and they care about the game and it's integrity, however they won't exist if they don't make money. Therefor there has to be a trade-off. I say ban bots based on reports and reports alone. 1. These bots are likely most effect legitimate players game play, if they get reported (ie, woodcut bots) 2. It would be very easy to automate a system in which player reports are tallied, rushing high offenders to the top of the list. Again, banning those who are peeving the legit players. 3. Jagex wouldn't have to spend as much money on worrying about botters and instead could focus their resources elsewhere. Think about it, this works out for the best. Bots are always going to exist, however if someone is able to create a bot, and you as a player cannot tell they are botting, why does this bother you? To you, they are just an ordinary player, and you would never know otherwise. Now, when there are 60 people at magic/yew trees and you can't get a single tree, report away. Ban them all to hell. And I think Jagex should remove the time limit on reporting What about those people that report you for no reason mhm? Obviously if you haven't botted, then you should be fine. True, but I've always wondered how Jagex determines botters from players? I mean, at some point in the history of Runescape there has got to have been at least one player who was banned for looking like a bot, right? Much much more than one..

DIY'ing is the equivilent of working $8/hr your whole life : AKA playing RS longer due to a sentimental goal. Being efficient is the equivilent of working $45 an hour, with many vacations when you choose : AKA quitting rs time to time.

It's true, there's no point worrying about 'stable economies' in RS right now, because right now the economy is a fraction of what it could be. We need to unleash free trade completely upon it, have a long period of screwy GE sales and then it will look better than ever. Before the GE existed... ah yes, I remember the General Stores being full of general crap people were getting rid of; at bargain prices! That was the best... Fighting to sell your full inventory of assorted iron items...
