If you want Rc xp, go ZMI. If you want airs, kill Green dragons or something, then buy them. Crafting airs really is lose-lose, in general, so don't be spending your GOP tokens on the air tabs.

Keep zamorak vambs, they have more mage defence than Barrow gloves, which is more important. Also, do you plan on solo, or duo/trio?
